Ada beberapa jenis penyakit prostat yaitu Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, Karsinoma Prostat, dan Prostatitis. Karsinoma prostat dapat diklasifikasi berdasarkan histopatologi selnya yaitu Adenocarcinoma Prostate, Transisional Cell Carcinoma, dan Carcinoma Neuroendokrin. Adenocarcinoma Prostate di kelompokkan lagi berdasarkan Grade sistem Gleson. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prevalensi dan distribusi frekuensi penyakit prostat berdasarkan gambaran histopatologi pada RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif secara cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh pada bagian instalasi Patologi Anatomi, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara total sampling, mulai Januari 2009 sampai dengan Desember 2011, dan didapatkan 153 kasus penyakit prostat. Berdasarkan jenis penyakitnya didapatkan Benign Prostate Hyperplasia 66,66%, Benign Prostate Hyperplasia dengan Prostatitis 30,06%, carcinoma prostate 3,26%, dan carcinoma prostate dengan Prostatitis 0%. Klasifikasi histopatologi karsinoma prostate yang terbanyak setiap tahun yaitu 100% Adenocarcinoma Prostate sedangkan untuk jenis Transisional Cell Carcinoma dan Carcinoma Neuroendokrin 0%, Grade Gleson untuk Adenocarcinoma prostate Grade 1+1 (40%), 2+2 (20%), dan 3+4 (40%). Benign Prostat Hyperplasi merupakan penyakit yang paling sering terjadi setiap tahunnya, pada tahun 2009 (75,1%), tahun 2010 (81,70%), dan tahun 2011 (51,63%). Generally, the growth of G. erosa has negative allometric, isometric and  positive allometric fashion. This encourages the study of G. erosa living in the region of mangrove ecosystem of west-coast of Aceh Besar. The objectives of the research are to determine the growth pattern of shell length against body weight as well as the growth pattern of shell length against its total body weight. The research was conducted from February 2006 to January 2007 in the region of mangrove ecosystem of west-coast of Aceh Besar. The region was divided into three different locations. Each location was set a sample square with 10m x 10m in size which was perpendicular to coastal lines. There were 10 sub-squares also set in every sample square with 50cm x 50cm in size. Sample collection in the sub-square was carried out by scratching and disturbing the bottom of the waters in order to sieve them. G. erosa was then measured for its shell length, body weight, and total body weight. The growth pattern was analyzed by using Excel program and t-test. The result showed that a negative allometric growth pattern was found in the measurement of shell length against total body weight of G. erosa, whereas an isometric pattern was found of the measurement of shell length against its body weight. Moreover, a positive allometric pattern was figured out in the measurement of shell length against total body weight. The proliferation of shell length, body weight and total body weight has contributed approximately 58% to 59%. This indicates that the growth pattern of G. erosa in the region of mangrove ecosystem of west-coast of Aceh Besar has negative allometric, isometric and positive allometric fashion. Pola sebaran kasus DBD di wilayah tsunami berat berbentuk mengelompok (Rn=0.379) dengan rata-rata jarak antar titik kasus terdekat adalah 118.1 meter dan dalam radius ≤100 meter terdapat 57.1% titik kasus yang tersebar pada 5 klaster, sedangkan di wilayah tsunami ringan berbentuk menyebar (Rn=0.500) dengan rata-rata jarak antar titik kasus terdekat adalah 74.4 meter dan dalam radius ≤100 meter terdapat 79.6% titik kasus yang tersebar pada 8 klaster, dan di wilayah tidak tsunami berbentuk menyebar (Rn=0.580) dengan rata-rata jarak antar titik kasus terdekat adalah 104.5 meter dan dalam radius ≤100 meter terdapat 77.5% titik kasus yang tersebar pada 6 klaster. Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) dikenal sebagai penyebab paling sering terjadinya infeksi nosokomial. Staphylococcus aureus yang telah resisten terhadap metisilin (MRSA) cukup tinggi di Asia, seperti Taiwan mencapai 60%, Cina 20%, Hongkong 70%, Filipina 5% dan Singapura 60%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pola sensitivitas Staphylococcus aureus dari spesimen klinik di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif terhadap data sekunder. Sampel diambil secara total sampling dari data sekunder di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Klinik periode Januari-Desember 2013. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dimana infeksi bakteri S. aureus sebanyak 144 (14,2%) dan 139 (96,5%) diantaranya adalah MRSA. Kasus infeksi MRSA terbanyak diperoleh dari spesimen pus yaitu 71 spesimen (51,0%), sedangkan darah 26 spesimen (18,7%), sputum 24 spesimen (17,3%), urin 14 spesimen (10,1%) dan cairan tubuh lainnya 4 spesimen (2,9%). Pola sensitivitas Staphylococcus aureus yang telah resisten terhadap antibiotik dengan urutan yang paling tinggi oxacillin 97%, sedangkan penisilin, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, doxycicline, clindamycin, vancomycin dan linezolid masing-masing sebesar 87,04%, 76,74%, 71,82%, 60%, 52,7%, 0% dan 0%. Goats play an important role in the livelihood of rural people in upland and lowland farming systems in the areas of Eks-Karesidenan Banyumas Central Java. The main focus of this study presented in this paper, consist of (i) documenting the regional goat farming pattern, and (ii) find out the level of goat productivity in their farming. Importance of this study related to the development strategic fof their goat farming. Study was conducted in the areas of Eks-Karesidenan Banyumas Central Java (consist of Banyumas, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, and Cilacap regencies). Upland and lowland areas were selected by purposive sampling method. Qualitative and quantitative descriptive statistic was applied in this study. Most of goats are raised within traditional system, characterized by small-scale production. The production in upland and lowland areas focused on single purposes for producing kid goats from Peranakan Etawah (PE) and Jawa Randu (JR) breeds. PE goats focus on dual purposes for producing milk and meat are mostly found on upland. Flock size of PE and JR goats in upland and lowland ranges from 2 to 9 head (mean: 3.8 head) and from 1 to 6 head (mean: 2.7 head), respectively. Flock size of PE goat focus on dual purposes ranges from 8 to 75 head. PE and JR goats in upland and lowland were dominated by double litter, followed by single and triplets. The highest litter size (1.89 kids) was found in lowland, followed by single purpose of PE and JR goats in upland (1.78 kids), and dual purposes PE goats in upland areas (1.66 kids). Pre-weaning mortality was highest (9.5%) in lowland areas for single purpose of PE and JR goats. Does reproduction and productivity ranges from 1.76-5.24 kids/does/year and 12.92-87.42 kg/does/year, respectively. Doe productivity was lowest (12.92 kg/does/year) in single purpose of PE and JR at lowland due to low of their survival rate and weaning weight. Sonneratia alba. INP tertinggi pada Desa Pulo Sarok adalah jenis Rhizopora apiculata dengan nilai 104,28 dan INP tertinggi pada Desa Gosong Telaga adalah jenis Nypa fruticans dengan nilai 118,2. Makrozoobenthos yang berkoeksistensi pada hutan mangrove adalah jenis Faunus ater, Neritina sp, Cerithidea obtuse, Batissa violacea dan Ucha sp. Kepadatan makrozoobenthos tertinggi terdapat pada Desa Gosong Telaga dengan total kelimpahan 108 ind/m2 dan kepadatan makrozoobenthos terendah pada Desa Pulo Sarok sebanyak 43 ind/m2.
