Kredit Konsumtif yaitu pembiayaan yang diberikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan individu dan sifatnya tidak menghasilkan profit. Kredit Konsumtif dibagi menjadi 3, yaitu Kredit Kepemilikan Rumah (KPR), Kredit Kepemilikan Mobil (KPM) dan Kredit Serba Guba (KSG). Sebelum memberikan kredit, pihak bank harus melakukan seleksi terhadap calon debiturnya, tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui apakah calon debitur memiliki kemampuan untuk memenuhi kewajibannya sehingga dapat meminimalkan akan terjadinya resiko kredit macet.
