Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Syiah Kuala yang berjumlah 182 responden. Peralatan pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuisioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Sebanyak 182 kuisioner disebarkan dan semua kuisioner dapat terkumpulkan. Hierarchical Linear Modelling (HLM) digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari semua variabel-variabel yang terlibat. The sample used in this research are students in Economic Faculty of Syiah Kuala University which totaled 182 respondents. The instrument of collecting data in this research is questionnaire. Random sampling was used as sampling technique. As much of 182 questionnaires distributed and all of questionnaires could be collected. As such, it may influence the level of service (LOS) of the intersection. Shockwave methode is commonly used to estimate delay and queue in intersection along with its LOS. In this research, we identified that particular case in one signalized intersection in Banda Aceh, known as Simpang Jambo Tape. Shock wave estimation was performed at two particular approaches, i.e. Jl. M. Daud Beureueh and Jl. T. Hasan Dek. The results showed that both approaches were stil able to serve traffic flow on a peak hour. Delay at Jl.. M. Daud Beureueh were 40,63 second/pcu and 41,13 second/pcu for  lane I and lane II respectively. Accordingly, delay at Jl.. T. Hasan Dek showed similar results,  40,67 second/pcu and  43,65 second/pcu for lane I and lane II respectively. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pelayanan pada persimpangan. Metode gelombang kejut sering digunakan untuk mengetahui tundaan dan antrian pada persimpangan, juga untuk mengetahui tingkat pelayanannya. Pada penelitian ini, ingin diketahui tundaan dan antrian yang terjadi pada salah satu simpang bersinyal di kota Banda Aceh, yaitu simpang Jambo Tape. Perhitungan gelombang kejut dilakukan pada dua lengan, yaitu pada Jl. M. Daud Beureueh dan Jl. T. Hasan Dek. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan kedua lengan masih mampu melayani arus lalulintas pada jam puncak. Tundaan yang terjadi pada dua lajur Jl. M. Daud Beureueh adalah 40,63 dan 41,13 detik/smp. Hasil yang sama juga ditunjukkan pada kedua lajur Jl. T. Hasan Dek, yaitu 40,67 dan 43,65 detik/smp. Jenis penelitianini adalah deskriptif korelatif melalui pendekatan cross sectional study denganmenggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 77responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui wawancara terpimpinterdiri dari 25 item pernyataan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara univariat danbivariat, sedangkan uji statistik yang digunakan adalah chi-square. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; 1) ketercapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa menggunakan Model Polya pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel dan 2) untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan siswa melalui Model Polya. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Model Polya pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel, sedangkan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan siswa melalui Model Polya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh,sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-7 yang berjumlah 25 siswa.Data peneliti dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan wawancara. Analisis data tes menggunakan statistik uji-t dengan taraf signifikan ? = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan Model Polya mencapai ketuntasan dan 2) kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah melalui Model Polya dapat dikatakan sudah baik, hanya saja pada langkah memeriksa kembali masih dalam kategori cukup. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyarankan kepada guru matematika untuk dapat menerapkan pemecahan masalah Model Polya dalam pembelajaran, sehingga dapat melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dan diharapkan siswa akan memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang baik.
