Penderita HIV/AIDS sangat mudah terkena infeksi oportunistik dan Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (MTB) merupakan infeksi oportunistik yang menyebabkan paling banyak kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar CD4 terhadap gambaran foto toraks pada pasien HIV/AIDS yang disertai ko-infeksi MTB. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kohort retrospektif yang dilakukan dari bulan September hingga Desember 2013 di Poli Gabungan II Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan CI-95% dan ? = 0,05. Pada pasien HIV/TB dengan kadar CD4 ?200 sel/mm3 didapatkan gambaran foto toraks yang tidak normal sebanyak 76,9% dan gambaran foto toraks normal sebanyak 0%, sedangkan pada kadar CD4 201-499 sel/mm3 didapatkan gambaran foto toraks yang tidak normal sebanyak 33,3% dan gambaran foto toraks normal adalah 66,7% dengan p value 0,038. Gambaran kelainan foto toraks fibrosis merupakan kelainan yang paling banyak ditemukan yaitu 36%, diikuti oleh kavitas sebanyak 20% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kadar CD4 terhadap gambaran foto toraks pada pasien HIV/TB.Kata Kunci; CD4, HIV/TB, Foto Toraks. Materi yang digunakan terdiri dari 40 ekor ayam arab, ransum komersil dan tepung kulit telur. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah penambahan tepung kulit telur ke dalam ransum komersil masing-masing sebanyak 0 (A), 0.25 (B), 0.50, (C) 0.75, (D) dan 1.00 % (E). Parameter yang diamati meliputi jumlah, persentase produksi telur, berat telur dan masa telur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak sarang semut (Hydnophytum formicarium Jack) terhadap daya tetas telur ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2014 di UPTD-BAT Batee Iliek, Kabupaten Bireun, Provinsi Aceh. Telur yang digunakan adalah telur ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental non faktorial dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas enam perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak sarang semut yang diberikan meliputi 0 (kontrol), 20, 40, 60, 80 dan 100 ppm. Parameter uji yang diamati adalah daya tetas telur ikan mas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman telur ikan mas pada ekstrak sarang semut memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap daya tetas telur ikan mas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh melalui pengamatan morfologi dan analisis fisika serta kimia tanah, data sekunder yang diperoleh dari intansi terkait seperti curah hujan, peta jenis tanah, dan peta administrasi.Pada lokasi penelitian terdapat tiga pedon tanah menurut penggunaan lahan yaitu, tanah sawah irigasi (BK1), tanah sawah tadah hujan (BK2) dan tanah kebun campuran (BK3). Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan di setiap horison pada masing-masing pedon tanah.Regosol merupakan tanah yang mengalami perkembangan awal, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan adanya horison kambik yang menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat bahan yang belum mengalami pelapukan secara sempurna dan pada lokasi penelitian termasuk kedalam tanah dari ordo Inceptisol. Pada pedon BK1 (sawah irigasi) lapisan tapak bajak kemungkinan telah terbentuk, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan iluviasi liat pada horison 2Btg sebesar 48% walaupun belum terlihat secara nyata, pedon BK2 (sawah tadah hujan) iluviasi liat belum terbentuk sehingga lapisan tapak bajak juga kemungkinan belum terbentuk.Klasifikasi di lokasi penelitian pada pedon BK1 adalah Typic Endoaquept, halus, semiaktif, tidak masam, isohipertermik, pedon BK2 adalah Typic Endoaquept, berlempung kasar, semiaktif, tidak masam, isohipertermik dan pedon BK3 adalah Typic Dystrudept, berlempung kasar, semiaktif, tidak masam, isohipertermik.
