Sebagian besar ampas bubuk kopi dibiarkan begitu saja sehingga mencemari lingkungan. Untuk itu perlu adanya pemanfaatan pada ampas bubuk kopi seperti pembuatan pupuk organik atau bokasi agar dapat mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia oleh petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh proporsi ampas bubuk kopi serta proporsi tepung tulang ikan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan bokasi terhadap mutu bokasi yang dihasilkan. Mengingat kandungan ampas bubuk kopi yang bersifat asam dibandingkan bahan baku bokasi yang biasa digunakan oleh para petani, maka perlu ditambahkan tepung tulang ikan sebagai penetral. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan pola faktorial yang terdiri atas 2 faktor. Faktor I adalah proporsi ampas bubuk kopi terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu: A1: 0%, A2 : 10%, A3: 20%, A4: 30%. Faktor II adalah proporsi tepung tulang ikan (T) yang terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu T1 = 0%, T2 = 2,5%, dan T 3 = 5%. Setiap perlakukan diulang sebanyak dua kali sehingga terdapat 24 satuan percobaan. Analisis yang dilakukan terhadap bokasi yang dihasilkan meliputi: total mikroorganisme (TCC), pH, unsur C, unsur N, rasio C/N, temperatur, kadar air, organoleptik (tekstur, bau dan warna), dan uji tanaman. Proporsi ampas bubuk kopi (A) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap nilai pH bokasi, dan tinggi tanaman. Dengan semakin tingginya proporsi ampas bubuk kopi maka nilai pH bokasi dan tinggi tanaman secara umum cenderung menurun. Proporsi tepung tulang ikan (T) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap total mikroorganisme, pH, dan tinggi tanaman. Interaksi antara proporsi ampas bubuk kopi dengan proporsi tepung tulang ikan (AT) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pH bokasi, dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap nitrogen, dan rasio C/N.
