Struktur space frame terdiri dari 2240 batang Rangka Lengkung Bawah berukuran Circular Section Steel (CSS) 168,3 x 7,11; 2376 batang Rangka Lengkung Atas berukuran CSS 114,3 x 4,78; 2379 batang Rangka Bagi Atas berukuran CSS 76,3 x 3,2; 2176 batang Rangka Bagi Bawah berukuran CSS 60,5 x 3,2; 9100 batang Rangka Redundant berukuran CSS 76,3 x 3,2; 2412 batang Rangka Dudukan Gording berukuran CSS 60,5 x 3,2; 7128 batang Rangka Gording Melintang berukuran CSS 76,3 x 3,2; dan 6965 batang Rangka Gording Memanjang berukuran C 150 x 50 x 20 x 3,2.

<text>Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) is a by-product of the manufacture of cooking oil. The PFAD has a high potential to be used as raw material for biofuel by catalytic cracking because it is a long-chain hydrocarbon. This research aims to study the influence of time and temperature conversion reaction to catalytic cracking reaction using zeolite catalyst synthesis. The PFAD cracking was taken place in a batch stirred tank reactor at the temperature of 240, 260, 280, 300oC for 60, 80, 100, 120 minutes. The changes in functional groups of cracking products were analyzed using FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra Red), while the analysis of components contained in the product was conducted using GCMS (Gas Chromatography Mass Spectra) analysis. The highest reaction conversion result (98.7%) was obtained at a temperature of 280oC and the reaction time of 100 minutes. The cracking process did not produce biofuels, but the compounds formed were in the form of tridecanoic acid (C13H26NO2), Cholest-8-en-3-ol (C28H48O) and methyl vinyl ketone (C4H6O).Keywords: FTIR, GCMS, PFAD, zeolite synthesys</text>

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) The effect of shrimp waste levels in experimental diets on feed intake, daily weight gain, and feed convertion (F/G) of white rats; (2) Optimal level of shrimp waste in white rat diets; and (3) The responses of both male and female white rats to shrimp waste levels. 15 male and 15 female white rats were given pellet ration contain shrimp waste for four weeks. The experimental design used in this research is Completely Randomized Design with 2 x 5 factorial arrangement in 3 replications. The A factor was sex (male and female) and the B factor was shrimp waste levels in ration (0% as control. 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%). The parameters determined are feed intake, weight gain, and feed convertion of white rats. The results indicate that shrimp waste levels in ration was significantly (P<0.05) affect the dry matter intake, whereas the effect on weight gain and feed convertion of white rats was highly significant (P<0.01). Sex was significantly affect weight gain (P<0.05%), however it was not significance (P>0.05%) on dry matter intake and feed convertion of white rats. There were no interaction (P>0.05%) between shrimp waste levels in ration and sex of white rats. The conclusion of this research that shrimp waste levels in ration of white rats increase dry matter intake and daily weight gain. Whereas, it decreased feed convertion. The optimal level of shrimp waste in the diet for daily weight gain was 19.44%, while optimal feed convertion 16.62%. Male daily weight gain was higher than female. </text>

<text>Performance of broilers fed diets containing potassium diformate to replace flavomycinABSTRACT. The aim of this research was to study the effect of potassium-diformate (PD) on broiler performance. One hundred and twenty old chicks of Cobb strain were divided into fifteen groups and feed one of five treatments, namely: P1 (control diet), P2 (P1 + 0,5%PD), P3(P1 + 1%PD), P4 (P1 + 1,5%PD) and P5 (P1 + antibiotic). Data from Completely Randomized Design were analyzed by ANOVA and any significant among them were used contrast orthogonal test. Treatments did not impact on feed consumption, mortality and percentage of viscera, but the groups treated with 1 and 1.5% PD and flavomicyne antibiotic had significant improvement on body weight gain (P<0.169) and feed efficiency (P<0.05). It is concluded that addition of 1-1.5% potassium-diformate in the broiler’s diet could improve feed efficiency and replace flavomycine antibiotic as growth promotors without influencing the performance of viscera. </text>

<text>ABSTRACT. This study presents an analysis of the optimization by using HOMER software and financial viability of 10 kW wind turbine generator (WTG) through grid connected system for six different locations in Malaysia (Mersing, Kuching, K.Trengganu, Kudat, Melaka and Labuan). Assessment criteria comprised Total Net Present Cost (TNPC), and Cost of Energy ( COE ). The HOMER ( National Renewable Energy laboratory, US) was utilized as the assessment tool with modeling performed with hourly load data input from six cities in Malaysia. The results demonstrate that WTG has the potential to supply significant power for small scale load in conjunction with the grid-electricity supply. Optimization modeling demonstrated that the TNPC for grid connected configuration is Mersing for the lowest TNPC among the other cities which is TNPC recorded at $ -28,436 and initial cost is about $ 20,000. This mean wind grid system in Mersing is very benefit be built and reduction in greenhouse gas emission of 9,452 kg/yr. Optimization modeling also showed that Mersing is the only one among other city had showed a high potential of WTG which produced energy at 85,326 kWh/yr and purchase grid only at 4,082 kWh/year.

<text>Abstract – Two dominant desalination methods are reverse osmosis (RO) and multi-stage flash (MSF). RO requires large capital investment and maintenance, whereas MSF is too energy-intensive. Innovative system of vapor compression desalination is proposed in this study. Comprehensive mathematics model for evaporator is also described. From literature study, it is indicated that very high overall-heat-transfer coefficient for evaporator can be obtained at specific condition by using dropwise condensation in the steam side, and pool boiling in the liquid side. Smooth titanium surface is selected in order to increase dropwise condensation, and resist corrosion. To maximize energy efficiency, a cogeneration scheme of a combined cycle consisting of gas turbine, boiler heat recovery, and steam turbine that drives compressor is used. The resource for combined cycle is relatively too high for the compressor requirement. Excess power can be used to generate electricity for internal and/or external consumptions, and sold to open market. Four evaporator stages are used. Evaporator is fed by seawater, with assumption of 3.5% salt contents. Boiling brine (7% salt) is boiled in low pressure side of the heat exchanger, and condensed vapor is condensed in high pressure side of the heat exchanger. Condensed steam flows at velocity of 1.52 m/s, so that it maximize the heat transfer coefficient. This unit is designed in order to produce 10 million gallon/day, and assumed it is financed with 5%, 30 years of passive obligation. Three cases are evaluated in order to determine recommended condition to obtain the lowest fixed capital investment. Based on the evaluation, it is possible to establish four-stage unit of mechanical vapor compression distillation with capital $31,723,885. Keywords: Desalination, dropwise condensation, heat exchanger, StarRotor compressor, vapor compression distillation.</text>
