Pengguna angkutan pribadi yang paling signifikan pertumbuhannya adalah mahasiswa. Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala yang terletak di Kota Banda Aceh merupakan salah satu fakultas dengan pengguna angkutan pribadi yang besar. Hal ini terkait dengan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam melakukan perjalanan menuju kampus. Persepsi mahasiswa tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam pemilihan moda harus diketahui sebagai landasan dalam pengembangan angkutan umum yang memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna yang dalam hal ini adalah mahasiswa. Faktor yang ditinjau dalan penelitian ini adalah faktor aman, nyaman, biaya dan waktu. Sedangkan untuk moda alternatif yang ditinjau adalah sepeda motor, labi-labi dan jalan kaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala dalam memilih moda transportasi menuju kampus dan mengapa angkutan umum kurang diminati oleh mahasiswa. Setelah itu dilakukan perangkingan alternatif moda transportasi yang menurut responden memenuhi kriteria-kriteria yang ditinjau. Data yang diperlukan berupa jumlah mahasiswa per jurusan untuk penentuan sampel dan data isian kuesioner AHP untuk dilakukan perhitungan dan analisis menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process. Dari hasil pengolahan dan analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa faktor waktu merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam melakukan pemilihan moda dengan bobot sebesar 33,64%, disusul faktor aman sebesar 22,93%, faktor biaya 22,25% dan faktor nyaman 18,56%. Sedangkan untuk alternatif moda, responden masih memilih sepeda motor untuk melakukan perjalanan menuju kampus dengan persepsi bahwa angkutan umum yang tersedia hanya memenuhi kriteria aman saja.Kata kunci: pemilihan moda, Analytic Hierarchy Process, kuesioner, angkutan umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh sekam terhadap kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran sekam sehingga menghasilkan bata sekam yang memiliki nilai ekomonis dan kuat tekan struktural berdasarkan SNI 03-0348-1989 tentang Mutu dan Cara Uji Bata Beton. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Konstuksi dan Bahan Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala. Komposisi campuran bata sekam ini terdiri dari sekam sebesar 40%, pasir sebesar 40%, semen sebesar 20% dan dengan FAS 0,4. Pembuatan bata beton dagan campuran sekam tersebut dilakukan dengan proses pemadatan dari 140% volume campuran bata sekam menjadi 100% volume bata sekam, ukuran 5x10x20cm untuk bata tunggal dan 5x10 x10cm untuk bata berpasangan dengan tebal siar 1cm, Pengerinagan bata sekam dibuat 2 (dua) variasi pengeringan yaitu dikeringkan dibawah matahari (tidak terlindung) dan di dalam ruangan (terlindung). Hasil pengujian kuat tekan bata sekam (Chaff brick) menunjukkan bahwa bata sekam tidak memenuhi sayarat-syarat kekuatan bata menurut SNI-030348-1989 dan NI-10,1978:6. Nilai kuat tekan bata sekam tunggal yang dikeringkan tidak terlindung sebesar 14,56 kg/cm2. Namun nilai kuat tekan bata sekam tunggal yang dikeringkan di dalam ruangan terlindung naik 30,7% menjadi 19,03kg/cm2. The research was conducted at the Seed Garden of Agriculture Faculty, Unsyiah, using a factorial randomized complete block design. Factor studied were combinations of fertilizer doses of N, P and K (Urea, TSP and KCl), consisting of three levels: P1 = 400 + 250 + 200 kg/ha, P2 = 450 + 300 + 250 kg/ha, and P3 = 500 + 350 + 300 kg/ha, and fertilization manners, consisting of two levels: circle and sideband. The results showed that the combination of doses of fertilizer N, P and K exerted a highly significant effect on ear weight, cob weight and cob weight/ha and exerted a significant effect on plant height of 30 and 45 days after planting and  cob length, but did not affect cob diameter.  The best growth and yield was obtained in a combination of N, P and K 500 + 350 + 300 kg/ha. Fertilizer placement did not significantly affect plant growth and yield of sweet corn. There was no significant interaction between fertilizer dose combinations of N, P and K and fertilizer placement on growth and yield of sweet corn. Sistem komunikasi wireless sangat rentan terhadap fading yang menyebabkan pelemahan daya sinyal informasi. Oleh karena itu diperkenal sistem komunikasi kooperatif dimana salah satu teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik spatial diversity yang menggunakan multiple antenna virtual pada sisi penerima sebagai perantara. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak dari fading yang dapat menurunkan kinerja sistem. Penelitian ini mengkaji optimalisasi alokasi daya pada sistem komunikasi kooperatif menggunakan protocol Amplify and Forward (AAF) untuk mentransmisikan datanya dengan daya yang seefisien mungkin, sekaligus memberikan hasil pengiriman sinyal informasi yang bagus dan mengatasi kanal fluktuatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kinerja sistem Bit Error Rate (BER) pada sistem komunikasi kooperatif, serta meminimalkan BER menggunakan 3 relay pada sisi penerima. Parameter yang digunakan dalam optimalisasi alokasi daya adalah throughput, BER dan amplification (?). Dari simulasi yang dilakukan diperoleh perbandingan kinerja sistem berdasarkan hubungan BER terhadap SNR, untuk Direct (tanpa relay) BER yang dihasilkan lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan optimalisasi alokasi daya mengunakan protokol amplify and forward 3 relay. Dalam hal ini BER dan throughput meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah SNR dan jumlah relay serta mengurangi fading dalam sistem komunikasi kooperatif melalui optimalisasi alokasi daya, sehingga sinyal informasi diterima tujuan sesuai yang diinginkan.Kata Kunci : Optimalisasi, Alokasi daya, komunikasi kooperatif, Amplify and forward. Factors investigated were growth media composition with a ratio of 1:1:1 (soil, compost, sand), (soil, compost, and rice husk), (soil, compost, saw dust), and Novelgro concentration of 0, 1, 2 and 3 cc/L of water.  Results showed that there was a significant effect of growth media composition on plant growth and leaf number  at  35, 45 and 55 day after planting (DAP), stem diameter at 45 and 55 DAP, fresh weight, dry weight and dry weight of root, but the media composition did not show significant  effect on plant growth and leaf number at 25 DAP and stem diameter at 25, 35 DAP. The best growth was found at media composition of soil, compost and sand with a ratio of 1:1:1.  Fertilizer concentration significantly affected stem diameter at 25 DAP but did not show a significant affect on plant growth and leaf number at 25, 35, 45, and 55 DAP, stem diameter at 35, 45, and 55 DAP, fresh weight, dry weight and dry weight of root. Plant growth was best at a fertilizer concentration of 2cc/L of water. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD), consisting of two factors, i.e. the growing media composition and foliar fertilizer concentration. The first factor consisted of the composition of the soil and manure by volume ratio (3:1, 3:2, and 3:3) and the second factor consisted of foliar fertilizer concentrations (0, 2, 4 mL/L of water ). The results showed that the growing media composition soil+manure (3:3) was the best in increasing crop height, leaves number, leaf length, leaf width and yield at 35 day after planting, while the best concentration for those parameters was 4 mL/L of water. Based on the interaction, the best leaf number of lettuce was found at growing media composition soil+manure (3:3) with the concentration of foliar fertilizer 4 mL/L of water.
