Data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data runtun waktu (time-series data) dari tahun 1993-2012. Model penelitian diestimasi awalnya dengan menggunakan model Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Setelah dilakukan beberapa pengujian asumsi klasik, terdapat pelanggaran uji normalitas dan terdapat fenomena time varying volatility, sehingga estimator tidak lagi bersifat BLUE (Best Linear Unbiased Estimator). Berdasarkan pertimbangan kelayakan model, signifikansi, dan keakuratan prediksi, maka model yang terbaik digunakan adalah model GARCH (Generalized Autoregresive Conditional Heteroscedasticity). Berdasarkan hasil estimasi, aglomerasi mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Banda Aceh, jumlah penduduk dan inflasi berpengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Banda Aceh. The present experiment is designed to evaluated the weed-crop growth of intercrop between corn with mungbean and groundnut of varying plant populations. The experimental used the single factor field experiment that arranged with randomized completely block design with three block as replication. Intercropping followed additive series system, i.e.: (A) corn 100% + mungbean 25%, (B) corn 100% + mungbean 50%, (C) corn 100% + mungbean 75%, (D) corn 100% + groundnut 25%, corn 100% + groundnut 50%, (F) corn 100% + groundnut 75%. Experimental result showed that: Intercropping corn with groundnut and mungbean of able to weed growth suppressed of sedges, and Intercropping crop with groundnut at 75% rate of recommended population weed growth suppressed of total weeds compared to the other three mungbean populations. Intercropping corn with groundnut at 25% of recommended rate gave the highest sweet corn yield per hectare. The experiment to improve mineral acid soil productivity in Aceh that is potential to plantation. This experiment was conducted during the month of February until Mei 2006. It studied the effect of peat application, phosphate fertilization and the effect of the interaction. They were consist of sixteen combination of treatment with fourty eight plots. The experimental design was in randomized completely block design, there were two factors treatment. e.i. four level of peat namely; no pead, 10 ton, 20 ton, and 30 ton ha-1. The result shows that in general the application of peat and phosphate fertilization with different level were able to improve significantly the corn growth e.i.: crop growth rate, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, and leaf area biomassa ratio, but they interaction were not significantly on 4 – 8 weeks periode. The interaction were significantly on 8 weeks to harvest periode however the two single factor show nonsignificantly. The interaction between pead application of 2 ton ha-1 and 100 ton ha-1 posfat fertilization gave a better result. Analisis perubahan musim dilakukan dengan membandingkan data curah hujan bulanan antara periode 2000 – 2009 dan 1990 – 1999, yang dipisahkan oleh musim kemarau, musim hujan, dan periode transisi dengan menggunakan Beda Nyata Terkecil yang dikoreksi dengan kriteria oldeman. Penentuan potensi waktu tanam diawali dengan analisis neraca air lahan dengan menggunakan metode Thornwaite dan Mather, yang disesuaikan dengan periode waktu tanam dengan kandungan lengas tanah >50% dari air tersedia. Analisis perubahan musim menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perubahan musim kemarau dan hujan selama periode 2000 – 2009 dibandingkan dengan 1990 – 1999, namun ada pergeseran pada awal musim kemarau dari bulan Juni menjadi Mei dengan durasi 4 bulan. Untuk pola dan waktu tanam, dari 4 kecamatan sentra produksi padi yang ditinjau potensi masa tanamnya antara 4 bulan – 4,25 bulan dengan awal waktu tanam jatuh awal bulan Oktober. Pola tanam yang dianjurkan apabila tidak tersedia irigasi adalah padi pada awal musim tanam pertama dan palawija musim tanam kedua.Analysis of Season Changes and Development of Paddy Planting Pattern Based on Rainfall Data in Aceh BesarABSTRACT. Climate is one of the most important factor to the success of agriculture production. Climate variability such as season change, lack or excess of water, are some examples of climate factor which limit agriculture production in the tropics. This research conducted to analyze the changes and duration of dry season, rain season, and transition period, and develop pattern and planting time of rice crop base on rainfall data analysis. Season change analysis conducted by comparing monthly rainfalls data between 2000-2009 period and 1990-1999 period, where the splitting of dry season, rain season and transition period conducted with LSD (Least Significant Difference), corrected with Oldeman’s criteria. Planting time potency assumed by Thornwaite and Mather water balance analysis approachment, and it is set up that the planting time period is the water holding capacity >50% from available water. The season change analysis showed that there is no change to dry and rain season duration on 2000-2009 period compared to 1990-1999 period, but there is shifting in dry season beginning from June to May with 4 months constant duration. The best planting pattern and planting time, from 4 subdistrict of rice crop main production observed, planting time potency between 4 to 4,25 month with planting time at the beginning of October. Without irrigation, planting pattern suggested is rice crop at the beginning of growing periods and palawija at the end of growing periods. The land cover change don the period of 2002 -2012 was the addition of secondary dry forest 972.02 hectares (3.85%), settlement 175.80 hectares (0,70%) and open land141.00 hectares (0.56%), whereas the reduction occurred in mixed cropping dry land agriculture -1,041.43 hectares (-4.12%), dry land agriculture -49.60 (-0,20%), rice land -173.78 hectares (-0,69%), and water bodies -24.00 hectares (-0.10%). The total of 48 villages (69%) had a population pressure index (ITP> 1), the lack of farmland to farmers in the catchment areas of Laut Tawar Lake -2,284.50 hectares. The changes of the protected forest area in 2012 was -6,221.00 hectares(-24,64%) and the conservation area -119.00 hectares (-0,47%) and the improvement of road infrastructure development in the area 36 km, confirming that the deviation of land use both the protected forest areas and conservation areas in the catchment areas of Laut Tawar Lake has occurred based on the Decree of the Republic Indonesia Minister Forestry the No. 170 / Kpts-II / 2000, the deviation of land use areas was -6,946.00 hectares (-27.51%).Keywords: land cover, population pressure index and catchment area. Perubahan tutupan lahan periode tahun 2002-2012 yaitu terjadi penambahan hutan lahan kering sekunder 972,02 hektar (3,85%), pemukiman 175,80 hektar (0,70%) dan 141,00 hektar (0,56%) tanah terbuka, sedangkan pengurangan terjadi pada pertanian lahan kering campuran -1.041,43 hektar (-4,12%), pertanian lahan kering -49,60 (-0,20%), sawah -173,78 hektar (-0,69%), dan tubuh air -24,00 hektar (-0,10).
