Banyak siswa yang merasa bosan dan malas untuk belajar. Hal ini dapat ditandai dengan banyaknya siswa yang tidak dapat mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu perlu diciptakan suatu kondisi pembelajaran yang dapat mengakrabkan matematika dengan siswa. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan media komik matematika. Adapun rumusan masalah penelitian ini bagaimana ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa melalui media komik matematika pada materi lambang bilangan romawi di kelas IV SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa melalui media komik matematika pada materi lambang bilangan romawi di kelas IV SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen yaitu pre experimental design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Seluruh siswa tersebut ditetapkan sebagai sampel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh karena kurang dari 30 orang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes yang diberikan setelah selesai menerapkan media komik. Pengolahan data menggunakan teknik statistik yang sesuai yaitu uji-t satu pihak, tepatnya uji pihak kanan. Dari hasil pengolahan data didapatkan thitung= 3,52 dan ttabel = 1,75 atau thitung ? ttabel dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media komik matematika dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi lambang bilangan romawi di kelas IV SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh. Infeksi saluran pernapasan akibat bakteri merupakan penyebab utama eksaserbasi pada PPOK. Penanggulangan penyakit infeksi memerlukan pemberian antibiotika secara rasional untuk menghindari terjadinya resistensi kuman terhadap antibiotika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pola kuman dan resistensinya terhadap antibiotika pada pasien PPOK eksaserbasi akut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan metode consecutive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 32 orang pasien PPOK eksaserbasi akut yang dirawat di ruang rawat paru Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Bakteri yang diisolasi dari sputum selanjutnya dilakukan pemeriksaan sensitivitas antibiotika. Penelitian ini berhasil mengisolasi 13 (40,6%) bakteri patogen, 15 (46,9%) bakteri non patogen, sementara itu 4 (12,5%) bahan pemeriksaan yang tidak layak kultur. Bakteri patogen yang didapatkan terdiri dari Klebsiella pneumoniae (61,5%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (15,4%), Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter dan Streptococcus sp. masing-masing 7,7%. Hasil uji sensitivitas menunjukkan Klebsiella pneumoniae resisten terhadap Ciprofloxacine (62,5%), Ceftazidine, Ceftriaxone dan Cefotaxime masing-masing 50%. Pseudomonas aeruginosa resisten terhadap Ticarcilin dan Cefotaxime masing-masing (50%). Satu isolat Eschericia coli yang ditemukan resisten terhadap Ticarcilin dan Cefotaxime. Satu isolat Acinetobacter yang ditemukan resisten terhadap Meropenem, Ciprofloxacine, Cefotaxime, Ceftazidine, Ceftriaxone, Tetracycline dan Cotrimoxazole. Produksi kentang ini di Indonesia masih sangat rendah karena rendahnya mutu benih yang digunankan. Mutu benih kentang ini dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan kultur jaringan tanaman secara in vitro. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kombinasi terbaik antara media buatan (Growmore) dengan Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT) GA3 dan melihat perbandingan antara media kontrol (MS) dengan media Growmore dalam memproduksi tunas mikro S. tuberosum L. cv Granola secara in vitro. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Sel dan Molekuler Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh sejak bulan Juli sampai Desember 2013. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu faktor media dan ZPT. Parameter penelitian terdiri dari jumlah akar, jumlah tunas dan jumlah daun. Hasil uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5% terhadap kombinasi perlakuan media Growmore 1 g/l dengan konsentrasi ZPT GA3 1,0 ppm menunjukkan pengaruh nyata dalam menginduksi akar terbanyak pada 4 Minggu Setelah Tanam (MST). Selain itu, kombinasi perlakuan media Growmore 2 g/l dengan konsentrasi ZPT GA3 1,0 ppm menunjukkan pengaruh nyata dalam menginduksi tunas terbanyak pada 4 MST. Namun kombinasi perlakuan media dengan ZPT GA3 tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata dalam menginduksi daun pada 4 MST. Pembentukan jumlah akar pada media Growmore 1 g/l menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata terhadap media MS.
