This study was intended to analyze the diversity, distribution pattern, coverage, composition and structure community of seagrass in Karang Tirta beach. Measurement of distribution aspect was analyzed with line transect method and sample of seagrass collected by using squares plot 0.5 x 0.5 m. Approximately 12 ha total of seagrass was estimated in various areas, such as: intertidal zone of tourism area, people settlement and mangrove zone. Seagrass distribution pattern was grouping category, and it was found 2 of 13 Species from Family Hidrocharitaceae of Indonesian seagrass exist, they were Thalassia hemprichii about 1.59 and Enhalus acoroides about 9.95. The highest species density was T. hemprichii (309.2 ind/m2) with appearance frequency value 100% and important value 252. This research assesses a site selection approach for net-cage grouper mariculture in the eastern coastal area of Simeulue Island, namely Sambai, Kuta Batu and Pulau Bengkalak. Granulometric study is considered as a tool to predict sediment formation process in an aquatic environment. This paper discusses brief assessment of granulometri studies on seagrass and coral reef areas in Indonesia by collecting samples at Pari Island waters. Sediment samples were taken in May 2008 near the coral reefs and seagrass area in the cluster of Pari Island waters, Seribu Islands, Jakarta. The wet sieving method was done to separate the sediment samples based on grain size. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the distribution of sediments in the estuary of Kuala Gigieng. The study was done on Mei to June 2011 and the sampling was conducted in three areas of estuary i.e. downestuarine, middle-estuarine and river section of Kuala Gigieng. The wet sieving analysis method was used in this study. The data was then weighed and the percentage was calculated and classified based on the Wentworth scale. The results showed that (1) the mean grain size of sediment of each area was 0.50 mm, 0.65 mm and 0.56 mm and the characteristically, the sediment distribution was consisted of medium sand 63.42%, fine sand 23.40%, coarse sand 5.59%, very fine sand-mud 4.13% and pebble 0.17%. The currents speed were 0.25 m/s, 0.23 m/s and 0.19 m/s. The current speed has influenced the sediment distribution where small grains were mostly found at higher current speed. Key words. This research purpose is study potential recourshe in shallow water of Semak Daun island for increasing marine tourism in Pramuka island, and to know impact of increasing marine tourism to economy and social of local people.  This research was conducted on Mei 2013 up to July 2013. The method of this research is descriptive quantitative analysis calculations using percent cover of coral, abundance of reef fish, suitability index of marine tourism, marine tourism area carrying capacity, analysis of Marine Tourism Economic Impact on the community using a multiplier effect . The results obtained from this study are: first, percent cover of coral communities on the Semak daun island categorized from moderate to very good and it ranged between 29.67 % -77.66 %. Second, Semak Daun Island area suitable for diving tourism activities, snorkeling , and beach tourism carrying capacity for diving site is 98 people / day and for snorkling is 242 people / day . Third, Tourists Visitor in Pramuka island has increased which in 2012 reached 36 218 visitors . These are the source of network congestion, which can interfere the communication data rate. This study discusses a system to overcome the congestion with Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) scalability-based approach, for the video sequence encoding method into two layers, which is a solution to decrease encoding mode for each packet and channel coding rate. The goal is to minimize any distortion from the source to the destination. The coding system used is a video coding standards that is MPEG-2 or H.263 with SNR scalability. The algorithm used for motion compensation, temporal redundancy and spatial redundancy is the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and quantization. The transmission error is simulated by adding Gaussian noise (error) on motion vectors. From the simulation results, the SNR and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) in the noisy video frames decline with averages of 3dB and 4dB respectively. This study aims to obtain stimulant treatment may be able to optimize the production potential clones IRR 42. The research wasconducted at the Research Institute for Experimental Sungei White, Rubber Research Center for four months (May-August 2012) in the area of crop planting clones IRR 42 years in 2006 (6 years old plants). The treatments tested include concentration of stimulant (S) consisting of 1.25%, 2.50%, 3.50% and 4.50%,treatment application interval (W) consists of one and two times per month as well as application control treatment (without stimulants). The results showed an average production of 2.50% on stimulant treatment and 4.50% at intervals of twice per month (S2W2 and S4W2) have higher production compared with other treatments. In general, plant physiology is still below the threshold. S2W2 treatment is the best treatment to optimize the potential of the plant because it has high production but showed lower stress than the exploitation S4W2. Most rivers remain unimpacted and free-flowing. The latter characteristic is important as it ensures that natural levels of connectivity throughout the riverine landscape exist and organisms and, importantly,carbon and nutrients, can be shifted between ecosystems and different parts of the landscape. This high degree of connectivity differs between rivers according to their flow regime however; most rivers of northern Australia are highly seasonal and flow intermittently. The present paper details the importance ofmaintaining connectivity within the river and between the river and its floodplain for the maintenance of species diversity and the structure of aquatic food webs.
