Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perumahan Qatar, Aceh Besar. Hewan coba yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini larva ikan lele dumbo berjumlah 270 ekor berumur 10 hari. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimental. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola satu arah dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, P1 dengan lama waktu perendaman 10 jam, P2 dengan lama waktu perendaman 20 jam dan perlakuan 3 dengan lama waktu perendaman 30 jam, larva ikan lele dumbo berumur 10 hari direndam dalam hormon metiltestosteron alami, dengan pengamatan dilakukan pada hari ke 50 hari umur ikan. Data dianalisis dengan analisis varian (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT). Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui proses ekstraksi silika dari abu sekam padi yang akan dipadukan dengan MgH2 sebagai katalis. Selanjutnya dilakukan proses milling pada material MgH2 dan dipreparasi melalui teknik mechanical alloying dengan waktu millingyang bervariasi yaitu 3 jam, 5 jam dan 10 jam yang dilanjutkan dengan pengujian sampel. Pengujian XRD dilakukan untuk mengetahui ukuran kristal dan komposisi fasa, SEM untuk pengujian struktur mikro dan DSC untuk pengujian perubahan suhu termal.Hasil pengujian dengan difraksi sinar-X menunjukkan bahwa fasa MgH2 adalah fasa yang paling dominan/utama. Hasil pengujian dengan SEM menunjukkan bahwa semakin lama proses waktu milling, maka struktur permukaan sampel akan lebih halus dan semua sampel cenderung untuk teraglomerasi dan hasil EDS menunjukkan unsur yang terdeteksi pada sampel MgH2-SiO2 adalah Mg, O dan Si. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 552 santri dengan jumlah sampel 85 santri. Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengukuran tinggi badan, berat badan dan wawancara terpimpin. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah timbangan, meteran dan kuestioner. Analisa data dalam penelitian menggunakan uji Chi-Square. The participants for  this study were 44 first graders chosen by random sampling. The research method used was quantitative as the data was analyzed with a statistical procedure. The data was  obtained  from written tests  for  a descriptive text entitled “My school” of 120-140 word length. This study found that three out of four sentence errors in the students’ writing were fragmented sentences whilst nearly a quarter of the errors were run-on or comma splice sentences. There were only a few  choppy sentence  errors and no  stringy sentence  errors. The data revealed five  types  of fragmented  sentences:  these were  the absence of  a  subject, the absence of  a  verb, the absence of  both  a  subject and  a  verb, the absence of  a verb in a dependent clause, and the absence of an independent clause. Berdasarkan hal ini, guru sebagai ujung tombak dalam proses belajar mengajar hendaknya memilih suatu model pembelajaran yang tepat. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keberanian siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat, menciptakan sikap kerja sama yang baik dan memberikan sikap saling menghargai antar sesama siswa adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Rotating Trio Exchange pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one-shot-case study. Populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh yang terdi dari 9 kelas. Satu kelas lainnya tidak termasuk karena merupakan kelas inti, sampel yang diambil adalah satu kelas yaitu kelas X IPA4 . Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes hasil belajar. Selanjutnya data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t pihak kanan. Hasil analisis data dengan pengujian hipotesis pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05 dan dk = 28 berdistribusinormal. Dari hasil pengolahan data didapat t = 3,2 dan t1-? = 1,70, sehingga t ? t1-?,yaitu 3,2 > 1,70 maka hipotesis H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkanbahwa hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeRotating Trio Exchange pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh dapat mencapai taraf berhasil.
