Communication skills and mathematical reasoning is one of the objectives of the study of mathematics. Communication is defined as the ability to write, read, listen, examine, interpret, and evaluate ideas, symbols, terms, and mathematical information. Mathematical reasoning is a habit when the brain is well developed and consistent will facilitate the mathematical communicate both written and oral. Therefore, the necessary relevant learning models to optimize, improve, and develop communication and mathematical reasoning abilities of students. One of the cooperative learning models is Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The aim of this study to determine: (1) Is the increase in communication and mathematical reasoning abilities that students acquire learning with cooperative learning model TGT better than students who received conventional learning approaches, and (2) What is the attitude of students towards learning mathematics learning gain with cooperative learning model TGT. This research was experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all students of class XI MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar, which consists of five classes. While the sample was composed of two classes of experimental classes and control classes were taken by random sampling. The instrument used to obtain research data communications test and mathematical reasoning ability, and attitude scale questionnaire. The statistical test used for the data mengalisis increase communication skills and mathematical reasoning was two lanes ANOVA test, while the attitude scale questionnaire was calculated based on a percentage. The results showed that the overall improvement of communication and mathematical reasoning abilities that students acquire learning with cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament better than students who received study with conventional approaches. The ability of communication is one of the mathematical ability to be mastered by students in learning mathematics. Students who have good mathematical communication skills will be able to create a diverse representation in solving problem. This will facilitate the students in making a variety of alternative settlement so as to enhance the students' ability in solving mathematical problems. One of approach to learning that is likely to improve mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy students is discursive approach. This research is experimental research with quantitative approach. The aim is to obtain an increase in mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy of students by using a discursive approach is reviewed by the entire student and student grouping. This study used a pretest - posttest  the control group. The data of mathematical communication ability collecting using test and the data of student self-efficacy collecting by questionnaire. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills are taught using a discursive approach is better than the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills are taught using the conventional approach based on the students' overall well-reviewed and reviewed based on level students. For self-efficacy concluded that there are differences increase in self-efficacy between students taught with the discursive approach better than students who were taught using the conventional approach. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model TTW dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), dengan populasi seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 2 Indrajaya dengan sampel siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Indrajaya. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dilakukan terhadap rataan pretes, postes dan gain ternormalisasi antara kedua kelompok sampel dengan menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model TTW lebih baik daripada peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; (2) Aktivitas siswa pada tahap Think, Talk, dan Write siswa yang belajar pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan persentase yang lebih baik dari setiap pertemuan; (3) Terdapat korelasi yang tinggi antara aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa.Kata kunci : Think-Talk-Write (TTW), Komunikasi Matematik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan diskursif ditinjau berdasarkan keseluruhan siswa dan pengelompokan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk pretes-postes grup kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket self-efficacy siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan diskursif lebih baik daripada peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional baik ditinjau berdasarkan keseluruhan siswa maupun ditinjau berdasarkan pengelompokan siswa. Untuk self-efficacy disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan self-efficacy antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan diskursif lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. Rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) disebabkan guru masih cenderung aktif, dengan pendekatan konvensional menyampaikan materi kepada para peserta didik, sehingga siswa dalam mengkomunikasikan matematis dan motivasi masih sangat kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Quantum learning berbeda dari siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional di SMP Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. Untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan motivasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan quantum learning berbeda dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional di SMP Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. Pengumpulan data digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket motivasi siswa. Untuk melihat adanya perbedaan kemampuan siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol digunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 setelah prasyarat pengujian terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bawa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penerapan pendekatan quantum learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional. Motivasi siswa di kelas yang memperoleh pembelajaran pendekatan quantum learning lebih baik dari pada motivasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajarabn secara konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe yang terdiri atas 8 (delapan) kelas. Dari 8 (delapan) kelas tersebut dipilih secara acak kelas atau random sampling class, sehingga terpilih kelas VII1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII3 sebagai kelas kontrol sebagai sampel.yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII1 dan kelas VII3. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berbentuk soal uraian berjumlah 5 butir soal dan angket motivasi berjumlah 16 butir pernyataan. Nilai reliabilitas masing-masing instrumen tersebut sebesar 0,74 dan 0,61. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran pendekatan quantum learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajarkan secara konvensional di SMP Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. (2) Motivasi siswa dengan pembelajaran pendekatan quantum learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajarkan secara konvensional di SMP Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. (3) Terdapat korelasi positif antara kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan motivasi siswa. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource ., Abubakar Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2014-09-11 Description An account of the resource Abstract: Increased capacity and disposition of students' mathematical understanding in mathematics learning is very important as it is outlined in the curriculum KTSP (2006) and reaffirmed in year 2013. The use of appropriate learning model is expected to achieve those goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase comprehension and mathematical dispositions that students taught with cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT), determine whether there is a correlation between increased capacity and disposition of mathematical understanding that students taught with cooperative learning models Numbered Head Together (NHT ). This study was a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach, the population class X SMA Negeri 1 Sakti, Kabupaten  Pidie, ecara randomly selected sample as many as two classes: the class as a class ekspetimen X1 and X2 class as the control class. Data were collected using a test instrument comprehension and mathematical statistic questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t test and one-way ANOVA test. Once the data is processed and analyzed it is concluded that: (1) Increasing the ability of understanding is taught using cooperative learning models Numbered Head Together (NHT) is better than being taught by conventional teaching, (2) an increase in students' mathematical dispositions are taught using learning cooperative models Numbered Head Together (NHT) better than students taught with conventional pembelajan, (3) There is a positive correlation between an increase in the ability of students with improved mathematical understanding students' mathematical dispositions.Keywords: Ability mathematical understanding, mathematical model of cooperative disposition Numbered Head Together (NHT).
