Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, (2) Aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran model problem based learning, (3) Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran model problem based learning dan (4) Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model problem based learning. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMPNegeri 2 Kuta Baro yang berjumlah 22 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa, lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa pada pembelajaran model problem based learning, lembar pengamatan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran model problem based learning, dan angket respon siswa menggunakan model problem based learning. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan individual dan klasikal secara keseluruhan meningkat dari siklus pertama, siklus kedua, hingga siklus ketiga. Persentase aktivitas guru dan siswa meningkat, aktivitas guru yang banyak menggunakan waktu adalah membimbing siswa melakukan eksperimen, dan guru membimbing siswa mengolah dan menganalisis data dari eksperimen mengarahkan dan menilai presentase setiap kelompok dan aktivitas siswa yang paling banyak menggunakan waktu adalah siswa melakukan eksperimen, dan mengolah dan menganalisis data dari eksperimen, kemudian persentasi hasil eksperimen. Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran model problem based learning meningkat dari skor 2,9 dengan kategori baik sekali pada siklus satu menjadi 3,1 dengan kategori baik sekali pada siklus dua dan menjadi 3,5 dengan kategori baik sekali pada siklus ketiga. Dan persentase respon siswa baik terhadap penerapan model problem based learning, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika pada materi otot, rangka dan pesawat sederhana dengan menggunakan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. The population in this study is 508 (five hundred eight) local government districts/cities in Indonesia. The research was carried in 2012, and meet the criteria are 92 (ninety two) unit sample. Quantitative data used in this study is the budget realization in an annual report, districts/cities government budget and districts/cities government revised budget. Hypothesis testing is done by regression analysis. The results showed that (1) fiscal stress has effect on the budget balance (2) local government has no significant effect on the budget balance (3) budget size has no significant effect on the budget balance. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun 2012 dan yang memenuhi kriteria disertakan sebagai unit sampel sejumlah 92 (sembilan puluh dua). Data kuantitatif yang dipergunakan pada penelitian ini adalah laporan tahunan realisasi (LRA), Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD), Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah Perubahan (APBD-P). Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi. Buah pepaya (Carica papaya L.) memiliki aktivitas farmakologis seperti antibakteri, antifungal, antiinflamasi, antimalaria, antihelmintik, dan juga sebagai antifertilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak buah pepaya (Carica papaya L.) terhadap durasi perdarahan tikus Wistar (Rattus norvegicus). Penelitian eksperimental laboratoris ini menggunakan 10 ekor tikus Wistar (Rattus norvegicus) jantan dengan berat rata-rata 200-300 gram dan usia 8-12 minggu yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu 5 ekor pada kelompok kontrol yang diberi perlakuan akuades setelah dibuat perlukaan pada ekor tikus dan 5 ekor pada kelompok perlakuan yang diberi ekstrak buah pepaya (Carica papaya L.). Durasi perdarahan diukur dengan menggunakan chronometer (Q&Q 1/100 Chrono) dimulai dari detik terjadinya perdarahan sampai darah berhenti keluar dari luka ekor tikus. Hasil pengukuran rerata durasi perdarahan pada kelompok kontrol adalah 75,4 detik sedangkan kelompok perlakuan 41,2 detik.
