First factor was variety, consisted of four levels, namely Tuban, Bima, Bison and Local Aceh. Second factor was PEG concentration, consisted of 4 levels, namely control, 3.5%, 11.6%, and 18.1%. Variables measured were maximum growth potential, germination rate, relative growth rate, vigor index, germination value, root length, hypocotyl length, and seedling dry weight.  The results showed that varieties exerted significant effects on maximum growth potential, germination rate, relative growth rate, root length, and hypocotyl length. PEG concentration exerted significant effects on maximum growth potential, germination rate, growth velocity, relative vigor index, germination value, root length, hypocotyl length, and seedling dry weight. There were interactions between varieties and PEG concentration on relative growth rate, root length, and hypocotyl length of groundnut seeds. Local variety of Aceh was recommended as a tolerant variety to drought stress.  Bison was not tolerant to drought stress. Bima was recommended as a moderate tolerant variety to drought, while Tuban was a tolerant variety to drought. Prebiotic oligosaccharides are thought to provide beneficial effects in the gastrointestinal tract of humans and animals by stimulating growth of selected members of the intestinal microflora. Prebiotic oligosaccharides are defined as nondigestible food ingredients that provide beneficial effects to the host by stimulating the growth of selected microbial members of the gastrointestinal tract. Among the colonic bacteria capable of metabolizing prebiotic oligosaccharides and whose growth is stimulated are species of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Prebiotic oligosaccharides can be produced in transgli-cosylation reactions catalyzed by glycosidases. Glycosidases from different biological sources have specific ability to catalyze the formation of oligosaccharides with particular chain lengths (usually DP < 7) and predominant glycosidic linkages. Oligosaccharide used this research was purified rumbia fruit extract as prebiotic for feed additive in the ration on broiler. The objectives of this research were to study the performance of broiler given of prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit (metroxylon sago Rottb.) in the ration. Two hundred day-old chicks of broiler were divided into three dietary treatments and four replications. Ration used was consisted of: R1 = basal ration (control), R2 = basal ration + 0,4% oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit, and R3 = basal ration + 0,4% frukto-oligosaccharide (FOS). The variables observed were: feed consumption, body weight, feed conversion ratio, mortality, and production index. The result showed that the performances of the broiler supplemented prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit (R2) was significantly (P < 0.05) differences between of feed consumption, body weight, and mortality. It is concluded that of prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit were able to decrease the mortality and feed consumption at six week of age. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah soal tes Kimia Mahasiswa USMU Unsyiah Tahun 2011-2012. Data penelitian berupa lembar jawaban tes pertama dan tes kedua dari siswa dianalisis menggunakan program yang telah didesain menggunakan program microsoft excel dan angket tanggapan guru tentang desain program yang telah dibuat menggunakan program microsoft excel diolah dalam bentuk persentase. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis untuk setiap option jawaban yang dipilih oleh peserta tes menggunakan program Microsoft excel yang sudah didesain. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa soal tes secara keseluruhan tidak valid dikarenakan harga rxy (-0,0217) lebih kecil dari rtabel (0,3610), soal tes tidak memiliki validitas bandingan dikarenakan harga rxy (0,31) lebih kecil dari rtabel (0,3610), terdapat 6 buah soal yang valid dan 22 soal tidak valid. Koefisien reliabilitas tes sebesar -0,044 maka tes memiliki reliabilitas rendah (unreliable). Hasil analisis tingkat kesukaran soal tes 42,86% termasuk item soal baik, sedangkan 57,14% termasuk item soal yang kurang baik, baik karena terlalu sukar maupun terlalu mudah. Analisis daya pembeda menunjukkan 10,71% memiliki daya pembeda yang baik, 32,14% memiliki daya pembeda sedang, dan 57,14% memiliki daya pembeda lemah. Perbandingan antara hasil analisis menggunakan program microsoft excel dengan menggunakan kalkulator dan program Anates tidak terlalu berbeda sehingga menunjukkan program ini layak dipakai untuk menganalisis kualitas item tes pada soal pilihan berganda. Kelebihan program Microsoft excel yang sudah di desain ini dibandingkan dengan kalkulator adalah lebih mudah, cepat, dan praktis. Bila dibandingkan dengan program anates program ini memiliki kelebihan dalam menganalisis validitas tes, validitas bandingan, dan validitas item tes.
