Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Stasiun Percobaan Tanggul (Desa Tawar), Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan pada musim kering 2007. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui akurasi pemupukan dan penggunaan air melalui sistem fertigasi dalam mengembangan tanaman cabai pada lahan kering lebak. Dosis pemupukan ditentukan oleh nilai Konduktivitas Elektrik (KE) dan derajat pH yang dirancang secara otomatis pada setiap fase pertumbuhan tanaman cabai. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan perlakuan dosis pemupukan NPK yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Peubah yang diamati adalah: keseragaman distribusi tetesan, pertumbuhan tanaman (tinggi, jumlah cabang, dan diameter kelopak) dan hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseragaman distribusi tetesan bernilai >90%. Application of fertilizer and water in same time that named fertigation system is one of technology that introduced. The research was conducted at experimental station of Tanggul (Tawar village), Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, South Kalimantan Province at dry season 2007. The object of research was to study the accuracy of fertilizer and water utilization through fertigation system for developing chili crop in dry season at fresh water swamp land. Fertilizer dosage was determine by Electrical Conductivity (EC) value and pH degree and automatically arranged with growing step of chili. Experimental design was randomized complete block design with three replication. The treatment was dosage NPK fertilizer. Parameter that observed was the distribution uniformity (DU), crop growth (height, number of branch and crown diameter) and yield. The result of research showed that distribution uniformity with value >90%. Drop distribution of aperture 3 as 7.08 l h-1 and EC 1.19 mS cm-2 showed better vegetative and generative growth with increase of height 22.17 cm, weight per bed as 8.82 kg and yield as 7.05 t ha-1. This study is the third step from a series of studies aim to develop method to detect the present and quantity of herbicides in soil and water through a simple, easy, cheap, but accurate bioassay technique. Bioassay is a method which measure response of living organism to determine the presence or quantity of substances in a sample on medium, such as soil, water, and other materials. In this study, bioassay developed in the earlier studies was used to detect movement of ametryne and diuron herbicides in soil. Study was carried out using soil column method. Treatment were arranged factorially in a completely randomized block design with 3 replicates. Two ultisol soil types: Podsolik Merah Kuning (PMK) and Latosol cokelat (LC), and 2 preemergence herbicides: ametryne and diuron were tested. To calculate the amoung of herbicide using bioassay, each standard curve for ametryne and diuron (relationship between the growth of indicator plant as a respon of the amount of herbicide) were developed. Using these standard curves, the amount of ametryne and diuron was calculated based on the growth rate of indicator plant. Result showed that bioassay method can be utilized to detect herbicide movement in soil. The amount and the rate of herbicides movement was determined by soil and herbicide types. In PMK, ametryne was detect at the all soil dept from 1 through 4 week after application (WAA), however at 8 WAA this herbicides was only detected in 20-40 cm soil depth in limited amount, while at 12 WAA there was no ametryne detected in all soil depth. In LC, ametryne was also detected at all soil depth 1 day after application (DAA) through 1 WAA, while at 2 through 4 WAA ametryne was detected at 0-30 cm soil depth. At 8 and 12 WAA there was no more ametryn detected in all soil depth. The movement of diuron herbicide was more restricted compared to ametryn, both in PMK or LC. In PMK, from DAA 1 through 4 WAA diuron was only detected at 0-20 cm soil depth. At 8 WAA this herbicide was found at 10-20 cm soil depth, while at 12 WAA there was no diuron detected in all soil depth. In LC, most of diuron applied was still present in the upper soil colom (0-10 cm), while at 10-20 cm soil depth this herbicide was present in the limited amount 1 DAA through 1 WAA, diuron was detected only at 0-10 cm soil depth, meanwhile from 4 through 12 WAA there was no diuron detected at all soil depth. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktifitas guru, aktifitas siswa, dan respon siswa dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada materi pembuatan telur asin. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan 4 tahapan yaitu: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Observasi dan Refleksi yang Pelaksanaannya dilakukan dengan 3 siklus melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah, siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri 3 Juli Bireuen, yang berjumlah 25 orang. Berdasarkan hasil ketuntasan belajar 25 siswa dalam proses pembuatan telur asin dengan metode demonstrasi pada kondisi pra siklus diperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan berjumlah 60.8 katagori (Cukup).Siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 14 orang, dengan nilai rata-rata 72,85 katagori (Baik Sekali), dengan persentase (56%), dan yang belum mencapai ketuntasan berjumlah 11 orang, memperoleh nilai rata-rata 58,18 (Cukup) dengan persentase (44%). Ditinjau dari hasil analisis data pada Siklus I, nilai ketuntasan siswa keseluruhan berada pada skor rata-rata 69,8 katagori (baik), siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 17 orang, dengan nilai rata-rata 72,94, katagori (baik Sekali) dengan persentase (68%), sedangkan 8 orang lainnya memperoleh nilai rata-rata 63,13 katagori (Cukup) dengan persentase (32%). Selanjutnya pada Siklus II, nilai ketuntasan keseluruhan siswa rata-rata berada pada scor 74 katagori (baik sekali), siswa yang telah tuntas berjumlah 21 orang, dengan nilai rata-rata 75,71 (Baik Sekali), dengan persentase (84%), sedangkan 4 orang lainnya memiliki nilai 65 katagori (Baik), dengan persentase (16%). Dengan demikian ketuntasan belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada pembuatan telur asin, pada setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan, dan respon siswa terhadap pelaksanaan metode demonstrasi pada pembuatan telur asin sangat baik. Disarankan kepada guru mata pelajaran keterampilan untuk selalu menerapkan metode demonstrasi. Ini berarti metode diskusi yang digunakan berhasil meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. 3) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran menggunakan metode diskusi selama siklus I dan II mengalami peningkatan yang cukup baik.
