Geometry is one of the subjects studied at the high school level. Learning geometry includes the position, distance, and angle of the elements of a space. This study was a qualitative study aimed to look at the students' mastery of geometry. Subjects in this study were students in high schools in Banda Aceh were categorized in high school, medium, and low. Categories of student mastery of the geometry were analyzed based on mistakes made by students in answering the questions. Based on the data analysis it can be concluded that (i) high school students in Banda Aceh had not mastered geometry, (ii) there were mistakes made by students in answering the question of geometry. Mistakes made by students include misconceptions, operation, and analysis, (iii) the student mistakes caused by (1) not mastered the concepts, (2) inability to perform the operation, and (3) not able to perform the analysis in accordance with the expected completion problem. There are two aspects become the main consideration; the maximum crack peak angle opening for the given load and space, and the determination of the critical stress intensity factor to search at what degree of loading the crack on the gas transmission pipe experiencing creep or failure. This research uses arc-shaped tension specimen and the analysis is carried out by finite element method using ansys ™ rel 5.4. In order to get the stress intensity factor, the loading is varied from 1 KN to 160 KN. Based on finite element method, the maximum stress intensity factor occurs at the range of loading of 16-160 KN, which is 5.67 x 1016 MPa.m1/2, and the minimum factor occurs at the range of loading of 0.5-1 KN, which is 3.76 MPa.m1/2. The stress intensity factor result is also validated with the analytical result. The maximum crack peak angle opening occurs at the range of loading of 16-160 KN which is 250, the stage that is able to cause pipe failure. The objective of the study is to assess the changes of coverage of forest area, in watershed of Krueng Aceh by using GIS and remote sensing. The method used in classifying the image data is supervised classification, that is by determining the condition of the land coverage prior to its classification by the image. The pre tsunami classification of Landsat 5 image (2001) of the state-owned forest area along the watershed of Krueng Aceh shows that the land is 29375.47 ha (29.50%) of primary forest, 22140.01 ha (22.23%) of secondary forest, 26618.74 ha (26.73%) of shrubs, 21177.60 ha (21.27%) of open land, and 267.83 ha (0.27%) of water bodies. As a comparison, the post tsunami classification (2009) shows that the lands is 27892.378 ha (28.01%) of primary forest, 33537.58 ha (33.68%) of secondary forest, 16662.18 ha (16.73%) of shrubs, 21275.38 ha (21.37%) of open land, and 212.14 ha (0.21%) of water bodies. Based on this observation, the changes in land coverage of the state-owned forest area along the watershed of Krueng Aceh within the period of 2001 - 2009 is as follows: there is a reduction of 1483.10 ha (5.05%) of primary forest and 9956.56 ha (37.40%) of shrubs, while extension occurs to secondary forest and open land in the order of 11397.57 ha (51.48%) and 97.78 ha (0.46%) respectively.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan tutupan lahan kawasan hutan pada daerah aliran sungai Krueng Aceh dengan menggunakan SIG dan penginderaan jarak jauh. Metode yang digunakan dalam klasifikasi data citra adalah klasifikasi terbimbing dengan terlebih dahulu mengetahui kondisi tutupan lahan sebelum diklasifikasi terhadap citra. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya terkadang dihadapkan pada berbagai masalah sehingga waktu yang dihabiskan untuk menyelesaikan proyek konstruksi menjadi lebih panjang (time delays) dan biaya yang dikeluarkan melebihi biaya yang direncanakan (cost overruns). Kasus time delays dan cost overruns juga terjadi di Kota Banda Aceh. Pada tahun 2014 sebagian besar proyek konstruksi di Kota Banda Aceh yang dibiayai dengan APBA, berstatus merah atau kritis karena realisasi fisiknya masih terjadi deviasi padahal masa kerja tersisa hanya satu bulan lagi. Akibatnya pihak pelaksana proyek (kontraktor) mengajukan addendum waktu dan biaya, tentu hal ini akan memberikan dampak negatif baik bagi pemilik proyek (owner) maupun bagi pelaksana proyek (kontraktor). Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah yang menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya time delays dan cost overruns dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan konstruksi di Kota Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menentukan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya time delays dan cost overruns dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan konstruksi bangunan gedung di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode allometrik dengan menggunakan rumus W = aDb (Brown 1997) pada lahan hutan sekunder, pada lahan agroforestri dan monokultur menggunakan metode destruktif, C organik tanah menggunakan metode Walkley dan Black. Analisa sampel dilakukan di laboratorium Analisa Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dan Laboratorium Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah cadangan karbon terbesar terdapat pada lahan hutan sekunder yakni sebesar 241,36 ton/ha, diikuti agroforestri sebesar 66,00 ton/ha, monokultu r32,33 ton/ha sedangkan kandungan karbon terkecil terdapat pada tanaman semusim yakni sebesar 2,36 ton/ha. Kandungan C organic tanah terbesar terdapat pada lahan hutan sekunder yaitu 6,82 ton/ha, diikuti dengan agroforestri 3,98 ton/ha, monokultur 3,31 ton/ha dan kandungan bahan organik tanah terendah terdapat pada tanaman semusim yaitu 2,44 ton/ha. This research was carried out in three months with the areas of the study of 1100 ha. Selain itu diambil sampel berupa feses dari 6 orangutan Sumatera yang berada di Stasiun Re-introduksi Jantho. Selanjutnya sampel feses diperiksa di Laboratorium Parasitologi Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Pemeriksaan infestasi parasit nematoda gastrointestinal menggunakan metode natif dan metode sentrifugasi. Analisa data yang diperoleh dilakukan secara deskriptif. Dari data kuesioner didapatkan hasil bahwa salah satu faktor resiko yang diduga sebagai penyebab infeksi nematoda gastrointestinal pada orangutan adalah semua keeper tidak memakai sarung tangan pada saat memberi makan. Kajian didukung teori sektor basis ekonomi, teori basis ekspor, teori pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini membahas sektor basis ekspor Aceh yaitu sektor pertanian, dengan model simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel yang mempengaruhi harga rata-rata ekspor Aceh adalah belanja modal Pemerintah Pusat, belanja modal Pemerintah Aceh, Upah Minimum Provinsi, pendapatan per kapita penduduk Amerika Serikat, kurs dan tingkat bunga bank di Amerika Serikat. Variabel belanja Pemerintah Aceh dan tingkat bunga tanda koefisiennya berlawanan dengan teori, namun secara statistik signifikan. Artinya seluruh variabel berpengaruh terhadap harga rata-rata ekspor.Variabel yang mempengaruhi penawaran komoditas sektor basis ekspor adalah harga rata-rata ekspor (hasil estimasi), belanja modal Pemerintah Pusat, belanja modal Pemerintah Aceh dan Upah Minimum Provinsi. Semua variabel berpengaruh nyata. Variabel yang mempengaruhi permintaan sektor basis ekspor adalah variabel harga rata-rata ekspor (hasil estimasi), pendapatan per kapita, kurs dan tingkat bunga. Variabel tingkat bunga tanda koefisiennya berlawanan dengan teori tetapi secara statistik sangat signifikan. Tetapi variabel pendapatan per kapita dan kurs tidak signifikan, namun secara simultan seluruh variabel berpengaruh terhadap permintaan. Sisi permintaan lebih besar peranannya dibandingkan dengan sisi penawaran terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Aceh. Secara teori tanda koefisiennya sesuai dan secara statistik signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, Aceh perlu menjaga keberlangsungan ekspor melalui pemanfaatan belanja modal Pemerintah Aceh yang tepat sasaran, mengatur penetapan UMP agar tidak terjadi trade off tenaga kerja antara sektor pertanian dengan sektor industri. Dengan demikian dapat meningkatkan produktivitas komoditas sektor basis ekspor yang berdampak pada penurunan harga dan kompetitif.
