Rancangan penelitian menggunakan metode R & D (Research and Development) model 4D. Pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap pengembangan. Pada tahap pendefinisian peneliti mengobservasi awal di dua sekolah Kota Banda Aceh, didapatkan bahwa dua sekolah tersebut telah menerapkan kurikulum 2013 dan melakukan pembelajaran mandiri didalam kelas. Tahap perancangan dilakukan penyusunan kerangka awal LKS berbasis inkuiri dan menghasilkan draft 1. Tahap pengembangan dilakukan revisi pada draft 1 dan menghasilkan draft 2 sebagai produk. Hasil produk divalidasi oleh validator ahli, selanjutnya produk di uji coba pada siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu test uji coba LKS dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh validator ahli diperoleh nilai persentase kelayakan sebesar 92,18%. Tanggapan siswa SMA Negeri 10 Fajar Harapa memperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 86,53% dan siswa Bimbel Alumni Aceh memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 92,92%. Tanggapan guru SMA Negeri 10 Fajar Harapan memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian LKS yang dikerjakan siswa, LKS berbasis inkuiri dapat membetuk keterampilan ilmiah dan efektif digunakan saat proses belajar berlangsung di dalam kelas. The fact motivates the researcher to find solution to make students interested in learning Basic Science Concept 1 by developing multimedia based material through Macromedia Flash Mx. The research aimed to know the activity and studenst’ response in Basic Science Concept lecture by using multimedia based material to the students of PGSD S1 Almuslim. Qualitative and descriptive statistic are used to analysed the data. The result shows that the average of exam 1 is 72,32 increase to 78,00 at exam 2. Observation Data towards teaching activity shows that 83,16% has fit to teaching scenario. Observation Data towards students’ activity shows the average score 85,71% good chategory. Students give positive response to all aspects with the range of 79 – 97%. As a conclusion, the use of interractive multimedia based material could improve teaching effectivity to Basic Science Concept lecture. Finally, it is recommended that lecturers should apply interractive multimedia based material in other subjects as a teaching model at PGSD S1 Almuslim.
