Hal ini bisa dihindari jika penentuan fatigue life dari suatu komponen telah dilakukan sebelumnya, sehingga dapat ditentukan masa pakai yang seharusnya diterapkan dan kecelakaan akibat kegagalan fatigue dapat dihindari. Laboratorium Rekaysa Material telah membangun alat uji lelah Cantilever Rotary Bending Fatigue. Akan tetapi, validitas dari alat uji lelah yang dibangun belum teruji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengujian mesin Cantilever Rotary Bending Fatigue yang dibangun. Metode pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil uji lelah dengan menggunakan mesin Cantilever Rotary Bending Fatigue dengan hasil yang diperoleh mesin standart Rotating Bending Fatigue Testing. Material yang digunakan merupakan baja tahan karat AISI 304. Model spesimen uji fatigue yang digunakan dalam pengerjaan penelitian berdasarkan ASTM E-466. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Rekayasa Material selama periode bulan Oktober 2014 sampai dengan Januari 2015. Hasil dari pengujian pada mesin Cantilever Rotary Bending Fatigue menunjukkan batas endurance limit 291 MPa dengan jumlah siklus 1093644 pada beban 6 Kgf, sedangkan pada mesin Rotating Bending Fatigue Testing menunjukkan batas endurance limit 323,49 MPa dengan jumlah siklus 1604767 pada beban 7 Kgf, yang diplot dalam kurva S-N. Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan dari kedua alat uji lelah tersebut memiliki perbedaan sebesar 67,25 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mesin yang dikembangkan masih memerlukan perbaikan agar hasil uji memenuhi standart pengujian fatigue. By the development of computer technology, the vibration analysis of the rotor shaft can be easily performed by numeric method. The objective of this research is to develop an algorithm to determine the natural frequency of a rotor shaft of a dual rotor system. The equation of motion of the system is derived from the kinetic and potential energy. By applying Lagrange’s equation and converting them into matrix form, the equations can be easily solved numerically. Through this approximation is developed computer program. The model is a rotor system built of a rotor shaft and two disks. The rotor shaft is numerically divided into several line elements. From the global matrices of the elements, it is resolved the eigen values of the system which are then converted into the natural frequencies. The validation of the program result with analytical calculation shows a very close result. Metode Fishbein digunakan untuk menganalisa dan membandingkan dua aplikasi ini. Sampling pembagian kuisioner dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode non-random sample yaitu purposive sampling. Hasil kuisioner yang disebarkan kepada berbagai kelompok masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengukur sikap masyarakat (pengguna) terhadap kedua aplikasi UKM. Berdasarkan analisa data yang diperoleh disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat menilai positif terhadap pengembangan aplikasi webGIS dibandingkan dengan aplikasi webGIS UKM Bappeda Kota Banda Aceh yang sudah ada. SMEs are scattered in almost all districts in the city of Banda Aceh. The need for SMEs very helpful to society for the information system to know the distribution and location of SMEs in the city of Banda Aceh. Geographic Information System (GIS) web based that by making use of Google Maps API feature, would facilitate the public to know the distribution and location of SMEs in the city of Banda Aceh. Further analysis of this research is doing a comparison with the WebGIS Bappeda Banda Aceh application that also has feature the distribution of location of SMEs. Fishbein Methode is used to analyse and compare two this application. Sampling distribution of the questionnaires were calculated using a non-random sample is purposive sampling. The results of the questionnares distributed to various public groups aims to measuring the attitude of society (users) to both SMEs applications. Sampelpenelitian ini yaitu 4 orang guru kimia dan 20 orang siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode pengembangan(Research and Development/R&D), dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D(four D model) melalui 3 tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define); tahap perancangan(design); dan tahap pengembangan (develop). Lembar kerja siswa berbasiskontekstual dikembangkan dengan cara mengaitkan materi laju reaksi dengankehidupan sehari-hari, contoh-contoh gambar dalam LKS merupakan fenomena yangterjadi dalam kehidupan nyata, kegiatan dalam LKS juga menggunakan bahan yangmudah dijumpai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja siswa berbasiskontekstual dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di kelas. Menurut tanggapan gurudan siswa terhadap LKS berbasis kontekstual yang dikembangkan, dapatmempermudah guru mengajarkan materi laju reaksi dan mempermudah siswamemahami materi yang dipelajari. Persentase tanggapan positif guru dan siswamasing-masing sebesar 95% dan 96,25%. Hal ini menunjukkan lembar kerja siswaberbasis kontekstual pada materi laju reaksi ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
