Ampas kedelai difermentasi menggunakan Aspergillus niger yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan lama inkubasi yakni inkubasi 0 jam (kontrol), 24 jam, 48 jam, 72 jam, dan 96 jam. One of the other risk factor of chronic tonsillitis is cold beverages and unhygienic snacks. This study aimed to determine the relations between eating habits with the risk of chronic tonsillitis in patients at THT Clinic RSUDZA Banda Aceh in 2015. This type of research is observational by study on cross-sectional method, where data concerning on 2 months from January to March 2015 and then processed and analyzed. The population in this study were all patients with chronic tonsillitis and non-sufferers of chronic tonsillitis at Policlinic THT RSUDZA. The number of samples in this study were 60 respondents. Sampling was done by accidental sampling. Computerized data processing using Chi Square test. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebiasaan makan dengan risiko terjadinya tonsilitis kronik pada penderita di Poliklinik THT RSUDZA Banda Aceh tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian adalah observasional studi dengan desain crosssectional, adapun pengambilan data pada penelitian ini selama 2 bulan mulai dari Januari-Maret 2015 yang kemudian diolah dan dilakukan analisis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita tonsilitis kronik dan non-tonsilitis kronik di Poliklinik THT RSUDZA. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara accidental sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square. Teknikpengambilan subjek total sampling dengan total subjek penelitian yang memenuhikriteria inklusi sebanyak 41 orang. Pemeriksaan karies gigi dilakukan denganmenggunakan indeks DMF-T. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat.Hasil penelitian ini adalah nilai DMF-T yang didapat pada narapidana memilikiskor 6,63 termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi.
