This paper presents a study on hardness and tensile strength characteristics of a carbon steel A106 grade B welded using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) method with employing normalizing procedures. With the PWHT technique, heating temperature of the steel, that was set up to 850°C, was then maintained for these following set of holding times: 10, 20 and 30 minutes before cooling. Heating and cooling rates of the carbon steel were also slowly maintained. Investigation results under tension showed that the tensile strength of the carbon steel decreased with increase of the holding time. The best tensile strength was achieved by the carbon steel treated with a holding time for 20 min. Toughness of the carbon steel under tension is also discussed in order to correlate the influence of employing the PWHT technique on their fracture modes. Investigation with Vickers hardness test showed that the Vickers hardness on weld metal, weld line, heat-affected zone (HAZ) and base metal of the welded carbon steel, respectively, decreased and tended to be equivalent with the increase of the holding time. The research uses reactor test consisting of wet land and sludge. Enceng Gondok is planted on reactor test flown by ammonia as bacth with relatif low enough concentration (2 mg/L), water height 20 cm, plant’s number in each reactor of 4 stems with variatious plant’s length 10, 20, 30, and 40 cm, and various residence time 2, 4, 6, and 8 days. Each test conducted was completed by controlling reactor. Research result showed that maximun biosorption occurs at 2 days culturization; ammonia biosorption rate by roots increases as residence time increases. Residence time 2, 4, 6 and 8 days can decrease ammonia concentration up to 1.568 mg/l, 0.245 mg/l, 0.204 mg/l (10%), and 0.022 mg/l, respectively, at plant length 10 cm. Aktivitas lipase tertinggi untuk suhu 50, 60 dan 70oC berturut-turut adalah 5,99 U/mL, 6,63 U/mL dan 6,88 U/mL. Aktivitas pada pH 8,5 ; 9,0 ; 9,5 ; 10,0 dan 10,5 pada waktu dan suhu fermentasi optimum secara berurutan adalah 5,84 U/mL, 6,88 U/mL, 5,83 U/mL, 5,36 U/mL dan 5,27 U/mL. The sample used in this research are junior doctors in Zainoel Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh which totaled 360 respondents. The instrument of collecting data in this research is questionnaire. Systematic random sampling was used as sampling technique. As much of 180 questionnaires distributed and only just 143 questionnaires could be collected. Hierarchical Linear Modelling (HLM) was used as a method of analysis to determine the effect of all variables involved in this research. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana.Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa zakat dan ISR keduanya secara simultan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Return on Equity pada bank syariah di Indonesia. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan uji F dengan F value (9,997) > F tabel (9,556) atau p value (0,047) < 0,05, sehingga mendukung hipotesis.Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa zakat memiliki efek positif dan signifikan untuk Return on Equity pada bank syariah di Indonesia.
