Penelitian ini menggunakan 270 larva ikan nila dibagi dalam 3 kelompok umur yaitu umur 5 hari, 10 hari, dan 20 hari. Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 30 ekor larva ikan nila dan diulangi 3 kali ulangan. Rancangan penelitianyang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan direndam dalam larutan MT alami selama 20 jam, kemudian larva ikan nila dipelihara sampai umur 60hari dan dilakukan pengamatan jenis kelamin ikan. Rata-rata persentase ikan nilaberjenis kelamin jantan setelah perendaman dengan hormon metiltestosteron alami pada kelompok larva berumur 5 hari (PI), yaitu 68,07 %, kemudian diikuti oleh kelompokumur 10 hari (PII) sebesar 66,47 %, dan kelompok umur larva 20 hari (PIII) sebesar 57,29 %. Hasil analisis statistik dari ketiga perlakuan tidak berbeda secara nyata(p>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa umur larva tidakberpengaruh terhadap persentase keberhasilan proses jantanisasi ikan nila. This research was aimed at determining effects of seed storage life and scarification on seed viability of soursop. The experiment was conducted from March to May 2013 in Sumani Experimental Tropical Fruit Research Institute Solok, West Sumatra. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications. The study consisted of two sets of treatments. The first was seed storage, i.e., 6 months storage and without storage and the second one was seed scarification, i.e. without scarification and scarified seeds. The results showed that the soursop seeds that were stored for six months decreased germination rate (GR) from 82.5% to 65.0% and decreased maximum growth potential (MGP) from 86.0% to 70.5% but did not decrease vigor index and seedling height. In addition, seed scarification lowered vigor index and dry weight of normal seedling. Unscarified seeds did not lower GR and this suggests that scarification by cutting the base of the seeds is not effective for soursop seed. The behavioral variables are conflict, shared value, balanced power, communication, confidence, and collaboration. For this purpose, structural equation modeling was used to test the research model’s relation.
