Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratoris. Uji KHM dan KBM dilakukan dengan metode serial dilusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KHM infusum bunga Syzygium aromaticum pada konsentrasi 1,56% sedangkan KBM tidak ditemukan. Hasil analisis statistik dengan menggunakan uji Kruskall-Wallis menunjukkan daya hambat pertumbuhan S. mutans yang paling signifikan adalah konsentrasi 1,56%, 3,125%, 6,25%, 12,5%, 25%, 50%, dan 100%. Disimpulkan KHM infusum bunga Syzygium aromaticum adalah 1,56% sedangkan KBM tidak ditemukan. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi infusum bunga Syzygium aromaticum yang digunakan, maka semakin besar kemampuan dalam menghambat pertumbuhan S. mutans. The purpose of this study was to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum bactericid Concentration (MBC) of infusum Syzygium aromaticum againts S. mutans. This research is an experimental research laboratory. MIC and MBC test is done by serial dilution method. The results showed infusum MIC infusum Syzygium aromaticum is in the concentration of 1.56% and there is no MBC infusum Syzygium aromaticum against S. mutans. Statistical analysis using Kruskall-Wallis test showed growth inhibition of S. mutans most significant is the concentration of 1.56%, 3.125%, 6.25%, 12.5%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. Anaplasma marginale infects the erythrocytes and causes severe anaemia, weakness, loss of appetite, fever, depression, abortion, decreased milk production, constipation, jaundice and sometimes death. In Malaysia, data on A. marginale infection is still behind compared to other parasites such as nematodes. Anaplasmosis in livestock has received little attention in Malaysia with only occasional reports in cattle. In addition, the determinants of tick- and fly-borne transmission are not well understood. Looking into this possibility, this study was carried out to investigate and to compare the prevalence rate of bovine anaplasmosis in Malaysia. A seroprevalence study on bovine anaplasmosis was conducted at the Veterinary Research Institute, Malaysia. Sera of various cattle breeds were collected from farms and abattoirs to be tested for the presence of A. marginale. Competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (c-ELISA) Anaplasma antibody test kits by VMRD, Inc. were used for this study, where antibodies to A. marginale from sample sera inhibit the binding of horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labelled monoclonal antibody to the Anaplasma antigen coated on the plastic wells. A total number of 267 serum samples were tested and 79.4% were positive for bovine anaplasmosis. Results showed that the infection percentage is 100% in Pahang while the state with lowest infection percentage is Sabah with 59.2%. A comparison is done between Peninsular Malaysia with Sabah and Sarawak. The infection percentage in Peninsular Malaysia is higher at 87% while Sabah and Sarawak has an infection percentage of 60%. However, there is no significant difference in the rate of infections. The high number of cases in Peninsular Malaysia may be caused by the lack of strict control measures due to dependence on modern tools and drugs, while cases in Sabah and Sarawak may be due to traditional practices carried out frequently that may cause iatrogenic transmission. More samples should be obtained in order to validate the results. In addition, annual studies must be done to monitor the status of A. marginale prevalence in local cattle that is medically and economically significant to Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif eksploratif dengan desain cross sectional study. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Metode pemilihan sampel dengan metode simple rendom sampling yaitu 66 responden. Analisa data menggunakan software komputer. Hasil analisa data didapatkan bahwa Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Primigravida Tentang Persiapan Persalinan Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kopelma Darussalam Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2013 berada pada`katagori baik dengan frekuensi 40 responden (60,6%), tentang persiapan fisik dalam menghadapi persalinan dalam katagori baik dengan frekuensi 44 responden (66,7%), persiapan psikologis dalam menghadapi persalinan dalam katagori baik dengan frekuensi 53 responden (80,3%), persiapan perawatan bayi dalam menghadapi persalinan dalam katagori kurang dengan frekuensi 35 responden (53,0%), persiapan tempat dalam menghadapi persalinan dalam katagori baik dengan frekuensi 48 responden (72,7%), persiapan tenaga kesehatan terlatih (penolong) dalam menghadapi persalinan dalam katagori baik dengan frekuensi 44 responden (66,7%). In women, cancer incidence rates increased every year. Developments in treatment modalities and the ability to detect tumours in the early stages increased their survival rate but also raise fertility problems. Those problems are the fertility preservation for patient who have to endure gonadotoxic chemotherapy and or radiation even though they still need their fertility functions. Ovarian cryopreservation and autotransplantation were initially designed to protect and restore reproductive function in patients receiving sterilizing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. Other indications including patients undergoing haematopietic stem cell transplantation, autoimmune diseases and those undergoing oophorectomy for non-cancer conditions. Options in cryopreserved ovarian tissues include autotransplantation and xenotransplantation. An orthotopic site or a heterotopic site can be considered for autotransplantation. Xenotransplantation of human ovarian tissue into immunodeficient animals can prevent immunological rejection.  The theoretical advantage of orthotopic grafts is the restoration of normal reproductive function and natural conception after transplantation but application for cancer patients is problematic because of the potential risk of transmission of microscopic metastatic disease. With Xenotransplantantion, the possibility of cancer transmission and relapse can be eliminated because cancer cells cannot penetrate the zona pellucida, and some technical difficulties of in vitro growth and maturation of primordial follicles can be bypassed. But it is still unknown whether conditions for the growth and maturation of human oocytes in an animal host are comparable to those in situ and whether animal pathogens can be transmitted to human tissue with it. Ovarian tissue cryopreservation is the fertility preservation option for prepubertal girls and for women who face thehigh likelihood of diminished ovarian reserve requiring immediate treatment.
