Adapun judul penelitian ini adalah Upaya Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Gaya Melalui Penerapan Pendekatan CTL Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi gaya melalui Penerapan Pendekatan CTL Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh. (2) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru selama proses pembelajaran dengan melalui penerapan pendekatan CTL pada materi gaya di kelas IV SD Muhammdiyah 1 Banda Aceh dan (3) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran dengan melalui penerapan pendekatan CTL pada materi gaya di kelas IV SD Muhammdiyah 1 Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif uraiannya bersifat deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh. Yang berjumlah 23 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes prestasi belajar dan lembar observasi kemampuan guru dan aktivitas siswa. Sedangkan pengolahan data menggunakan rumus persentase terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa, dan deskripsi skor rata-rata terhadap kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase prestasi belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebanyak 19 orang yang tuntas (82,6%) dan pada siklus II menjadi 21 orang siswa (91,3%). Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan melalui penerapan pendekatan CTL mengalami peningkatan dari kategori rata-rata cukup (3,30) pada siklus I menjadi kategori sangat baik (4,61) pada siklus II. Begitu juga dengan aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dengan melalui penerapan pendekatan CTL mengalami peningkatan dari persentase kategori cukup (60%) pada siklus I menjadi kategori sangat baik (90,6%) pada siklus II. Experimental design used was a factorial 3 x 4 with three replications. The two factors investigated were Gandasil D concentration (0 g/l, 2 g/l and 4 g/l of water), and Harmonik growth regulator concentration (0 cc/l, 1 cc/l, 2 cc/l and 3 cc/l of water).         Results showed that Gandasil D fertilizer concentration significantly affected length of egg plants and its biomass. The best result of Gandasil D fertilizer was at concentration of 2 g/ l of water. Berdasarkan fakta yang ada maka dilakukanlah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi gizi lebih anak prasekolah di TKIT Al Azhar Banda Aceh dengan desain penelitian deskriptif eksploratif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 8-15 september 2012 dengan populasi berjumlah 40 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala dichotomous choice yang terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan pengukuran. Gambaran faktor genetik pada anak prasekolah dengan gizi lebih menunjukkan bahwa ada riwayat keturunan gemuk orang tua yaitu sebesar 60%. Gambaran faktor pola makan pada anak prasekolah dengan anak gizi lebih berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 55%. Gambaran faktor lingkungan pada anak prasekolah dengan anak gizi lebih berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 60%. The experiment was conducted at Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agricultural Kuala University, Banda Aceh. The study took place from August to November 2010. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with six concentration of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 ml/L solution. Each treatment was repeated 4 times to obtain 24 units of the experiment. Variables observed were mortality of larvae C. pavonana, formed pupa percentage, emerging imago percentage and feeding deterrent percentage. The results showed that application of leaf extract of M. charatia could control C. pavonana on mustard. The higher concentration of the leaf extract was given, the more effective control was against C. pavonana on mustard plant. The use of leaf extracts M. charantia in concentration of 20% was able to control C. pavonana up to 60%.
