Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif korelatif melalui pendekatan cross sectional study dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling terhadap 66responden. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan menyebarkan angket.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara fungsi manajemen kepala ruang dengan proses keperawatan (p-value= 0,038), secara khusus tidak terdapat hubungan fungsi perencanaan (p-value = 0,087), tidak terdapat hubungan fungsi pengorganisasian (p-value = 1,0), terdapat hubungan fungsi kepersonaliaan (p-value = 0,012), terdapat hubungan fungsi pengarahan (p-value = 0,028), terdapat hubungan fungsi pengendalian (p-value = 0,04). Nowadays, sago starch has been utilized to produce various types of tradisional foods. The aim of this study was to compare the quality of rainbow cake produced by the addition of 30% sago starch and rainbow cake using 100% wheat flour and to evaluate panelist acceptance of these rainbow cakes. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatments and eight replications thus obtained 16 experimental units. The treatments were TS1 (100% wheat and 0%sago starch) and TS2 (70% wheat flour and 30%sago starch). The parameters observed were moisture, ash, sucrose and fat contents as well as panelist acceptance test. The results of this study indicated that rainbow cake of TS1 treatment (100% wheat flour and 0%sago starch) had no significant difference with rainbow cake of TS2 treatment (70% wheat flour and 30% sago starch) in case of ash and sucrose contents, but had significant effect on moisture and fat contents of rainbow cake. Based on the panelist acceptance test, the rainbow cake made from 70% wheat flour and sago starch 30% could be accepted by panelists similar to commercial rainbow cake. This research uses a complete randomized design, which is consists of two factors, namely sugar (6% , 8% and 10%) and ammonium sulfate (0.3% , 0.5% and 0.7%). The observed parameters included yield, thickness, compressive strength analysis, crude fiber and organoleptic. The analysis results showed that sugar concentration and ammonium sulfate concentration significantly different to the yield, thickness, crude fiber, compressive strength and organoleptic. This research results showed that sugar and ammonium sulfate concentration influence significantly different to the thickness, crude fiber, compressive strength and organoleptic and not significantly different to the yield of nata de soya. The higher the sugar concentration and ammonium sulfate are used, the higher the yield, thickness, compressive strength, crude fiber produced. The bioetanol development from biomass bases on lignocellulose like pulp of coffee is one of alternative energy which has potential to be applied in Indonesia. Beside of raw material sources that are so many in our country, the process is also environmentally friendly. Conversion of coffee pulp becomes ethanol using Simultaneous Sacharification and Fermentation (SSF) technology by cellulase had been done on this research. Sacharification process or hydrolysis process, cellulase enzyme will break cellulose polymer becomes glucose. Then, glucose through fermentation is changed to ethanol by using yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This study using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with factorial pattern consisting of two factors. Factor I is the optimum pH (P) consists of three standards are: P1 = 4, P2 = 4.5, P3 = 5. Factor II is the incubation time (fermentation) (T) consisting of four standard that is T1 = 24 hours, T2 = 48 hours, T3 = 72 hours, and T4 = 96 hours. Pretreatment to break the lignin is done by soaking in 2% H2SO4 for 20 hours in the erlenmeyer. The analysis performed consists of the initial analysis and final analysis. Initial analysis consisted of analysis of water content, pH analysis, levels of cellulose and glucose levels, against the skin of the coffee pulp before the simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF), whereas the final analysis included analysis of ethanol content, the analysis of cellulose and glucose from a solution of ethanol produced. The optimum pH treatment (P), incubation time (fermentation) (T) and interaction optimum pH and incubation time (fermentation) (PT) has very significant (P ≤ 0.01), on levels of ethanol produced. The highest levels of ethanol obtained by fermentation of 96 hours and the optimum pH 4.5 and 5. The aim of this study was to determine if supplementation of soybean oil in the ration in order to increase conjugated linoleic acid of meat has concurrent effects on carcass characteristics and qualities of thin-tailed sheep. Sheep were fed fermented ricestraws supplemented with 0, 3 and 6% soybean oil. The experimental design used was a Randomized Completely Block Design. Eighteen sheep with initial age of 6-8 months and initial bodyweight of 17.46 ± 1.61 kg were used. The treatments consisted of soybean oil supplementation 0, 3 and 6%. Variables measured were carcass conformation, GR thickness, backfat thickness, subcutaneous fat score, and kidney and pelvic fat score. Result showed that sheep fed ration with 0 % soybean oil produced carcass with carcass conformation score of 8.50 ± 1.05, GR thickness 11.50 ± 1.05 mm, back fat thickness 2.67 ± 0.82 mm, subcutaneus fat score 3.50 ± 0.55 mm, kidney and pelvic fat score 2.00 ± 0.00. Sheep feed ration with 3% soybean oil; carcass conformation score 8.67 ± 1.21, GR thickness 11.67 ± 1.21 mm, back fat thickness 2.83 ± 0.98 mm, subcutaneus fat score 3.50 ± 0.55, kidney and pelvic fat score 1.83 ± 0.4. Sheep feed ration with 6% soybean oil; carcass conformation score 9.00 ± 1.26, GR thickness 12.50 ± 1.52 mm, back fat thickness 3.33 ± 0.82 mm, subcutaneus fat score 3.50 ± 0.55, kidney and pelvic fat score 1.83 ± 0.41. Score of carcass conformation, thickness of GR, thickness of back fat, score of subcutaneus fat, and score of kidney-pelvic fat were not influenced by supplementation of soybean oil. In conclusion, suplementation soybean oil in the ration to increase conjugetaed linoleic acid has no significant concurrent effect on carcass quality characteristics of local sheep.
