Secara geografis, ketiga lokasi penelitian ini berada padawilayah pesisir yang berpotensi terkena dampak bencana tsunami di masa yangakan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kapasitasdan kerentanan perempuan, menganalisis pengaruh faktor demografi terhadapkapasitas dan kerentanan serta menganalisis strategi untuk meningkatkankapasitas serta mengurangi kerentanan perempuan dalam upaya penguranganrisiko bencana tsunami di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Peukan Bada Aceh Besar.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi (mixed methods) yaitudenganmenggunakan pendekatan data gabungan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampelpenelitian terdiri dari 81 orang perempuan yang ditentukan denganmenggunakanmetode survey dengan teknik Quota Sampling. Data primer diperoleh melaluikuesioner kepada responden dan wawancara terstruktur dengan 6 orang informanyang bermukim di tiga gampong lokasi penelitian. Data sekunder diperoleh daridokumentasi Keuchik dan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Aceh Besar.Kuesioner disusun dengan menggunakan metode ORID (Objective, Reflective,Interpretative dan Decision) dengan tiga alternatif jawaban yaitu setuju, ragu-ragudan tidak setuju. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tingkat kapasitasperempuan berada pada kategori kurang siap dengan indeks 54 dan tingkatkerentanan perempuan berada pada kategori rendah dengan indeks 53, (2)Pengaruh faktor demografi terhadap kapasitas secara signifikan pada faktor umur,sementara faktor pendidikan, pekerjaan, pendapatan dan status perkawinan tidakberpengaruh secara signifikan. Sedangkan faktor demografi umur, pendidikan,pekerjaan, pendapatan dan status perkawinan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikanterhadap kerentanan. The purpose of this research was to analyze the level ofcapacity and vulnerability of women, to analyze the influence of demographicfactors on the capacities and vulnerabilities and analyzied the strategies toincrease capacity and reduce the vulnerability of women in the effort of tsunamidisaster risk reduction in the coastal areas of Peukan Bada District in Aceh Besar.This research used combination methods (mixed methods) by using quantitativeand qualitativedata approach. The sample in this research consisted of 81 womenwho were determined using the survey method with Quota sampling techniques.The primary data obtained through questionnaires to respondents and structuredinterviews with 6 informants who live in the three villages research. Secondarydata were obtained from Keuchik documentation and the data from StatisticCentre Agency (BPS). The questionnaire prepared using ORID methods(Objective, Reflective, Interpretative and Decision) with three alternative answerswere agree, undicided and disagree. The results showed that (1) The level ofwomen capacitywerein the less ready category with the index 54 and the level ofwomen vulnerability were in the low category with the index 53, (2) Theinfluence of demographic factors on the capacity, significantly on the age, whileeducation factor, employment, income and marital status did not havesignificantly influences. Exactly, demographic factors of age, education,occupation, income and marital status did not have significantly influences to thevulnerability. Minyak atsiri dari minyak sereh dapur memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan pola faktorial yang terdiri atas 2 faktor. Faktor I adalah Bagian tanaman (B) yang terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu: B1: (batang), B2 : (Daun), B3 : (Daun dan batang). Faktor II adalah Perlakuan pemurnian (P) terdiri atas dua taraf yaitu: P1 : (sebelum pemurnian) , P2 : (sesudah pemurnian). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga (3) kali sehingga terdapat 18 perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bagian tanaman berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap daya reduksi, indek bias dan bobot jenis minyak sereh dapur. Perlakuan pemurnian berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap aktivitas antioksidan, indek bias, dan bobot jenis minyak sereh dapur. Interaksi antara kedua perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap indek bias dan bobot jenis minyak sereh dapur. Kadar sitral tertinggi diperoleh dari minyak sereh dapur bagian batang sesudah pemurnian 89,90 %. 5. Perlakuan terbaik berdasarkan uji aktivitas antioksidan dan daya reduksi diperoleh pada kombinasi perlakuan campuran batang dan daun setelah pemurnian (B3P2) dengan kadar sitral 89,19%, aktivitas antioksidan 59,27 %, bobot jenis 0,9200 % (memenuhi standar SNI), dan kelarutan dalam etanol keruh.Kata kunci : olahan sereh dapur, proses pemurnian, dan aktivitas antioksidanLemongrass (Cimbopogon citratus) oil is one of the most important essential oils produced in Indonesia. This essential oil has its antioxidant activity. Therefore, a completely randomized design was used which consisted of two factors. The first factor was the part of plant (B), consisting three stages: B1 (rod), B2 (leaf), and B3 (leaf and rod). The second factor was purification treatment (P) consisting two stages: P1 (before the purification) , and P2 :(after the purification). Every treatment was repeated three times, so that there were 18 treatments. The result of the research indicated that the part of plant significantly affected the reduction energy, refraction index, and the amount of lemongrass oil. The purification treatment completely affected antioxidant activity, refraction index and the amount lemongrass. Consequently, these two treatments significantly affected the refractive index and the amount of lemongrass oil. The highest citral intensity was obtained from lemongrass rod and after purification which was around 89,90 %. An ideal treatment based on antioxidant test and reduction power was the combination treatments of rod and purification leaf (B3P2) with 89,19% citral, 59,27 % antioxidant activity, 0,9200% in size, and low ethanol solubility. Fermentasi memegang peranan yang sangat penting terhadap penentuan kualitas produk olahan kakao. . Khamir (yeast) adalah mikroorganisme perintis yang menumbuhi biji kakao pada 24 jam pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi jenis khamir yang terlibat di dalam proses fermentasi kakao Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah identifikasi secara konvensional dengan mencocokkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dengan litaratur yang mendukung. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan proses, yakni : (1) Proses fermentasi kakao. (2) Teknik sampling, dan (3) Isolasi dan identifikasi isolat berdasarkan sifat morfologi, fisiologi dan biokimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam isolat yang dominan tumbuh dan berasal dari empat genus khamir yang berbeda. Ke empat jenis khamir tersebut adalah genus Candida sp., Saccharomyces sp., Kluyveromyces sp., serta satu genus khamir yang belum teridentifikasi secara konvensional.Kata Kunci : Kakao, Isolasi, Identifikasi, Khamir.Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is one of agricultural crops grown in Indonesia. Fermentation plays a very important role in determining the quality of processed cocoa products. Yeast is a pioneer microorganism which is grown out of cocoa beans in the first 24 hours. This study aimed to isolate and identify the type of yeasts involved in the cocoa fermentation process in Aceh. The method used was conventionally identified by comparing the results obtained with supporting literatures. This study consisted of three stages, namely cocoa fermentation process, sampling technique, and isolation and identification of isolates based on morphology, physiology and biochemistry. The results showed that there were six isolates which were predominantly grown from four different yeasts genus. Konflik terjadi karena setiap individu atau kelompok berbeda dan masyarakat tidak saling menjaga hubungan interaksi dengan baik. Selain di lingkungan masyarakat, perbedaan juga terdapat di lingkungan universitas, perbedaan tersebut terjadi antara mahasiswa perantauan dengan mahasiswa lokal. Dari situ timbul pertanyaan, apakah perbedaan pada mahasiswa yang majemuk di universitas juga bisa menyebabkan konflik?, Atas dasar tersebut, penulis meneliti bagaimana interaksi yang terjadi antara mahasiswa yang majemuk, kemudian bentuk interaksi apa yang di gunakan dan adakah penghambat dan pendukung hubungan interaksi antara mahasiswa yang majemuk tersebut. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, Penelitian dilakukan kepada 120 orang sampel/responden mahasiswa perantauan di Unsyiah, data dikumpulkan dari hasil observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan literatur pustaka. Hasil penelitian yang pertama, mengenai keadaan interaksi yang terjadi antara mahasiswa perantauan dengan mahasiswa lokal Aceh, sudah berjalan dengan baik dan ideal sesuai nilai agama, moral, budaya serta aturan yang berlaku, meskipun terdapat berbagai perbedaan. Selanjutnya mengenai bentuk interaksi apa yang terjadi antara mahasiswa perantauan dengan mahasiswa lokal Aceh di Unsyiah adalah bentuk interaksi asosiatif dan disosiatif, namun bentuk interaksi yang umumnya terjadi adalah bentuk interaksi asosiatif, bentuk interaksi tersebut berasal dari teori interaksi sosial. Terakhir mengenai hal penghambat dan pendukung interaksi yang dirasakan mahasiswa perantauan yaitu, mayoritas mahasiswa perantauan tidak merasakan adanya hal-hal penghambat interaksi selama proses beradaptasi, mereka umumnya merasakan adanya hal-hal pendukung hubungan interaksi dengan mahasiswa lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keuntungan yang diperoleh dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi perkembangan usaha anggrek Marni di Kota Banda Aceh. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah usaha anggrek Marni di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah metode study kasus. Metode pengolahan dan analisis data terdiri dari analisis deskriptif, analisis keuntungan untuk mengaanalisis keuntungan yang diperoleh usaha tanaman anggrek Marni dan analisis SWOT untuk menganalisis lingkungan bagi usaha tanaman hias anggrek Marni di Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat keuntungan yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar Rp.3.090.362 untuk setiap bulannya dan faktor-faktor internal yang mempengaruhi usaha anggrek Marni terdiri dari kekuatan dan kelemahan.
