Untuk memperoleh plastik biodegradable, pati ditambahkan kitosan dan gliserol sebagai plasticizer. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan studi mengenai pembuatan plastik biodegradable campuran pati dan kitosan, serta gliserol sebagai plasticizer dengan melakukan variasi terhadap kitosan dan gliserol. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu variabel tetap dan variabel peubah. Variabel tetap terdiri dari dari konsentrasi pati terhadap air 1:5 dan temperatur gelatinisasi pati 70oC, sedangkan variabel peubah terdiri dari konsentrasi gliserol dan konsentrasi kitosan, konsentrasi gliserol yang digunakan adalah 1,5 ml, 2,5 ml, 3,5 ml dan 4,5 ml dan konsentrasi kitosan yang digunakan adalah 0,35 gr, 0,45 gr, 0,55 gr dan 0,65 gr. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pemanfaatan pati tapioka dan kitosan sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan plastik biodegradable Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) mengetahui karakterisasi plastik biodegradable dengan uji mekanik, thermal, gugus fungsional, morfologi, penyerapan air dan permeabilitas oksigen, 2) mengetahui berapa lama (hari) daur ulang plastik ketika didalam tanah yang mengandung bakteri EM4 dan direndam didalam larutan NaOH. Prosedur dialisis dapat menyebabkan hilangnya nutrisi ke dalam cairan dialisat dan meningkatkan reaksi katabolisme. Pada pasien hemodialisis usia berpengaruh terhadap nilai Indeks Massa Tubuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan lama waktu hemodialisis dan usia dengan malnutrisi pada penderita PGK di Instalasi Dialisis RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Status gizi diukur melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan Mini Nutritional Assessment. Data lama waktu hemodialisis dan usia didapatkan dari buku register di Instalasi Dialisis RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah penderita PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis sebanyak 51 orang. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan lama waktu hemodialisis dengan malnutrisi pada penderita PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis (p value 0,004 ? ? = 0,05) dan hasil uji Two-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnof menunjukkan terdapat hubungan usia dengan malnutrisi pada penderita PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis (p value 0,027 ? ? = 0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan lama waktu hemodialisis dan usia dengan malnutrisi.Kata kunci: lama waktu hemodialisis, PGK, malnutrisi, usia. Dari berbagai penelitian epidemiologis yang dilakukan di Indonesia menunjukkan 1,8%-28,6% penduduk yang berusia di atas 20 tahun adalah penderita hipertensi. Keluarga merupakan salah satu faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi perjalanan penyakit, sehingga keluarga mempunyai peranan penting dalam pemeliharaan dan perawatan anggota keluarga yang menderita hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga dengan kemampuan merawat anggota keluarga yang menderita hipertensi di desa Jeulingke Banda Aceh 2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 120, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 55 keluarga. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan memberikan kuesioner tentang pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga merawat anggota keluarga yang menderita hipertensi sebanyak 26 item pernyataan dalam bentuk skala gutmann dan likert. Kuesioner tentang kemampuan keluarga dalam merawat anggota keluarga yang hipertensi sebanyak 12 item pernyataan dalam bentuk skala likert. Metode analisis data yaitu dengan menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (P-Value=0,022) dengan kemampuan merawat anggota keluarga yang menderita hipertensi dan terdapat hubungan antara sikap (P-Value=0,001) dengan kemampuan merawat anggota keluarga yang menderita hipertensi. Saran dari hasil penelitian untuk pasien dan keluarga agar mematuhi diit yang disarankan oleh petugas kesehatan serta mengontrol tekanan darah secara teratur untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi. From a variety of epidemiological studies conducted in Indonesia showed that 1.8%-28.6% of the population aged over 20 years are patients with hipertension. Family is one of the environmental factors that influence the course of the disease, so the family has an important role in the maintenance and care of family members who suffer from hypertension. The purpose of this research is to known the correlation level of knowledge and family attitude with ability to care in hipertension of family members at Jeulingke village Banda Aceh 2013. This was a descriptive correlative research with cross sectional study design. The population of this research was 120, with samplies amounting to 55 families. Data collection techniques by giving questionnaires about level of knowledge and family attitude with ability to care in hipertension of family members comprising of 26 statement items in the form of guttman and likert scale. Questionnaire about ability to care in hipertension of family members comprising of 12 statement items in the form of likert scale. The method of data analyzed were using univariate and bivariate analyzed. The result of this research shows that there are have a correlation between level of knowledge (P-value =0,022) with ability to care in hipertension of family members and there are have a correlation between attitude (P-value =0,001) with ability to care in hipertension of family members. A suggestion for patients and families in order to comply with the diet recommended by health officials as well as control of blood pressure on a regular basis to prevent the occurrence of complications.
