This conditions caused to low quality of groundwater resources as one of the determinants of the quality of sanitation and healthy living in an environment. The purpose of this study is determine the effect of building density and pattern of management of public toilets on the quality of environmental sanitation, the effect of educational level, socioeconomic against MCK management pattern, as well as the correlation between the density of buildings with MCK management pattern and level of education, socio-economic as well as its influence on West Hamlet environmental sanitation quality Gampong Kopelma Darussalam. This research was conducted in this area from in May to November 2014, using the survey method, with 128 heads of households sampled. The instrument used the observation sheet and questionnaire to the parameter level of education, socioeconomic conditions. Data were analyzed with the Pearson product moment correlation and multiple. The results of research on the influence of the building with a pattern density of the quality management of sanitary latrines obtained calculated F value of 38.79 and F table 3.07 at a significance level of 0.05, the effect of educational level, socioeconomic by MCK management pattern obtained tvalue of 1.966 and ttable 1.645 at a significance level of 5%, while the correlation between the density of buildings with MCK management pattern and level of education, socio-economic to quality sanitation correlation coefficient of 0.58 with a moderate interpretation. The conclusion is the density of buildings and toilets patterns can make an impact on the quality of environmental sanitation Hamlet West, while the level of education, socio-economic impact on the pattern of MCK management. Kondisi seperti ini mengakibatkan rendahnya mutu sumber air tanah sebagai salah satu faktor penentu kualitas sanitasi dan hidup sehat pada suatu lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepadatan bangunan dan pola pengelolaan MCK masyarakat terhadap kualitas sanitasi lingkungan, pengaruh tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi masyarakat terhadap pola pengelolaan MCK, serta korelasi antara kepadatan bangunan dengan pola pengelolaan MCK dan tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi masyarakat serta pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas sanitasi lingkungan di Dusun Barat Gampong Kopelma Darussalam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Dusun Barat Gampong Kopelma Darussalam yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan November 2014, menggunakan metode survey, dengan 128 kepala keluarga yang dijadikan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan angket dengan parameter tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Data dianalisis dengan korelasi product moment dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh kepadatan bangunan dengan pola pengelolaan MCK terhadap kualitas sanitasi diperoleh nilai F hitung sebesar 38,79 dan F tabel 3,07 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, pengaruh tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi dengan pola pengelolaan MCK diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 1,966 dan t tabel 1,645 pada taraf signifikansi 5 % sedangkan korelasi antara kepadatan bangunan dengan pola pengelolaan MCK dan tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi terhadap kualitas sanitasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,58 dengan interpretasi sedang. Kesimpulannya adalah kepadatan bangunan dan pola pengelolaan MCK dapat memberi pengaruh terhadap kualitas sanitasi lingkungan Dusun Barat, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi masyarakat berpengaruh terhadap pola pengelolaan MCK. Penelitian dirancang dengan rancangan split-plot terdiri atas 6 kelompok, masing-masing terdiri atas 4 ekor mencit. Kelompok I (P0) sebagai kontrol negatif diberi akuades, kelompok II (P1) dan III (P2) berturut-turut diberi aspirin (288,56 bb) dan parasetamol (257,8 mg/kg bb), sedangkan kelompok IV (P3), V (P4), dan VI (P5) diberi ekstrak n-heksan daun sernai masing-masing dosis 30, 45, dan 60 mg/kg bb. Pengukuran suhu mencit menggunakan termometer digital. Mencit diinduksikan panas dengan pemberian pepton 12,5%. Pengamatan dilakukan setiap 30 menit selama 3 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata (P0,05) dengan P1 dan P2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ekstrak n-heksan daun sernai memiliki efek antipiretik pada mencit dan ekstrak n-heksan daun sernai memiliki efek yang sama dengan aspirin dan parasetamol. Peningkatan penggunaan antibiotik spektrum luas secara tidak rasional diiringi dengan munculnya mikroorganisme yang resisten terhadap lebih dari satu antibiotik, salah satunya adalah MDR P. aeruginosa, bakteri Gram negatif yang perkembangan resistensinya sangat pesat. Alternatif pengobatan yang potensial ialah penggunaan antimicrobial peptide dari cacing tanah (L. rubellus) yang bernama lumbricin I. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri tepung cacing tanah (L. rubellus) terhadap isolat klinis MDR P. aeruginosa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari 5 kelompok perlakuan dan 1 kelompok kontrol dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari konsentrasi tepung cacing tanah 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 mg dalam 5 ml asam asetat konsentrasi normalisasi 1% dan kelompok kontrol negatif asam asetat 1%. Uji aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram Kirby-Bauer. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan konsentrasi tepung cacing tanah yang terkecil hingga terbesar menghasilkan zona hambatan rata-rata berturut-turut 14,33 mm, 14,17 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm dan 13,5 mm. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepadatan Gastropoda, keanekaragaman, keseragaman, dominansi, kesamaan jenis serta penyebaran Gastropoda. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 3 stasiun pengamatan di perairan Desa Leungah. Pengamatan Gastropoda dilakukan dengan menggunakan transek kuadrat dengan ukuran plot 1x1 meter sebanyak 5 transek pada setiap stasiun. Dari hasil penelitian di peroleh 523 individu yang terdiri dari 6 spesies yang tergolong dalam 3 family yaitu Terebridae, Trochidae dan Cerithiidae. Indeks keanekaragaman tergolong sedang berkisar antara 3,458-2,722. Indeks keseragaman dikategorikan stabil yaitu berkisar 1,053-1,338. Sementara nilai indeks dominansi berkisar antara 0,124-0,208 yang menunjukkan tidak adanya jenis yang mendominansi. Pola sebaran jenis menunjukkan adanya dua pola sebaran jenis yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian yaitu bersifat mengelompok dan seragam. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Pests and Plant Diseases, Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University of Banda Aceh, from February to May 2014. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, with 7 treatments namely control, 10 3, 10 4, 10 5, 10 6, 10 7 and 10 8 conidia / mL. Each treatment was done for 3 times in order to make the number of experimental units became 21 units of experiment. The variables were observed including incubation period, larval mortality, the percentage of pupae formed and the percentage of the imago emerged. The results showed that the percentage of larval mortality had no significant difference in 1 HSA to 4 HSA. However, it was highly significant at 5 HSA with the highest percentage about 33.33% on the density of 108 conidia / mL. While the incubation period, the percentage of pupae and imago indicated that they were very significant differences between the treatments given. The incubation period occured faster; 2 HSA on the density of 10 7 and 10 8 conidia / mL. The percentage of pupae was formed in the lowest percentage namely 66.67% on the density of 10 8 conidia / mL, and the percentage of the imago was appeared at the lowest percentage about 60% on the density of 10 8 conidia / mL. B. The application of bassiana in this study was less effective in controlling pests C. pavonana because the mortality rate only reached about 33.33%.Keyword : effectiveness, B. bassiana, mortality, development, C. pavonana.
