                <text>Abstract: Headmaster is one of the components that affect teachers' performance. Educational success in school is largely determined by the success of the headmaster in managing academic staff at the school. This study generally aims to examine the leadership of headmaster in improving the performance of teachers at SMAN 4 Wira Bangsa and SMAN 3 Meulaboh, West Aceh. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with technique of collecting data through observation, interview, and documentation. Subjects were headmasters, teachers, school committee, and students of SMAN 4 Wira Bangsa and SMAN 3 Meulaboh. Conclusions of this study are the headmaster leadership of SMAN 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh is autocratic style, while the headmaster of SMAN 3 Meulaboh is democratic style. Headmaster leadership of SMAN 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh and SMAN 3 Meulaboh is able to improve the performance of teachers in each school. This is proved from the curriculum, infrastructure and student achievement which achieve well and in line with the standards of teacher performance. The response of teachers to the leadership approach that made the headmaster at SMAN 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh and SMAN 3 is good enough.Keywords: Leadership, Headmaster, Teacher’s PerformanceAbstrak: Kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu komponen pendidikan yang berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. keberhasilan pendidikan sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh keberhasilan kepala sekolah dalam mengelola tenaga kependidikan yang tersedia di sekolah. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru pada SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa dan SMA Negeri 3 Meulaboh, Aceh Barat.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Komite Sekolah, dan Siswa di SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa dan SMA Negeri 3 Meulaboh.kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 4  Wira Bangsa Meulaboh bergaya otokratis, sedangkan kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 3 Meulaboh bergaya demokratis. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh dan SMA Negeri 3 Meulaboh mampu meningkatkan kinerja guru di masing-masing sekolah.Hal ini terbukti dari kurikulum, kesiswaan, sarana prasarana dan prestasi belajar siswa yang berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai standar kinerja guru.Tanggapan atau respon guru terhadap pendekatan kepemimpinan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah di SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh dan SMA Negeri 3 Meulaboh cukup baik.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Guru</text>

                <text>Abstract: Financial Management of Higher Education is one of the major components for the continuity of the educational process at universities. The research objective was to Describe and analyze matters relating to planning, and financial accountability in the use of IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Description of the methods used by using a qualitative approach. Techniques of data collection through interviews and documentation studies. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsi dan menganalisis hal-hal yang berkenaan dengan perencanaan, penggunaan dan pertanggungjawaban keuangan pada IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan deskripsi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian Kepala Biro Administrasi Umum, Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan, Kepala Bagian Keuangan dan Bendahara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan disusun berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, ditetapkan prioritas program kegiatan anggaran dan kemudian dituangkan dalam program kegiatan anggaran IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. (2) Penggunaan anggaran yaitu untuk belanja: honor/vakasi, honor dosen tidak tetap, keperluan sehari-hari, pengadaan bahan seminar, belanja barang mendukung tugas pokok dan fungsi, dan (3) pertanggungjawaban, bendaharawan menyampaikan pertanggungjawaban kepada atasan langsung, membuat Berita Acara (BA) Rekonsiliasi pada KPPN, melaporkan hasil rekonsiliasi tersebut ke Kanwil Depag. Provinsi NAD setiap bulan dan triwulan, selanjutnya disampaikan ke biro Keuangan Depag. RI di Jakarta, sesuai dengan yang diatur dalam Undang-undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2004 tentang Pemeriksaan Pengelolaan dan Tanggungjawab Keuangan Negara.Kata kunci : Manajemen Keuangan</text>

                <text>Abstract: Effort headmaster to the make-up of professional interest of teacher can support the attainment of education target at school. Research Target to know the program of execution and resistance to increase professional interest of teacher. This research use the descriptive method with the approach qualitative. Result of research indicate that the 1) Program ofis make-up of professional interest of teacher executed by Pre-Eminent headmaster SD Country of Montasik for example: training of compilation RPP and analyse the ( SKL, KI And KD), activating KKG, make-up of extracurricular activity and improvement of kualisifikasi teacher. 2) Execution of is make-up of professional interest learn by Pre-Eminent headmaster SD Country of Montasik that is training of compilation of Syllabus and RPP, applying of study PAIKEM of there no improvement program but execution have been executed, following Teacher Team-Work, following training and upgrading of both for executed at school and also extramural and improve the kualifikasi learn the higher kejenjang 3) natural by resistance of headmaster in improving kompetensiprofesional learn at Pre-Eminent SD Country of Montasik is the lack of medium and prasarana, lack of tanggungjawab learn to school.Keywords: The Influence of Teacher Certification and Performance.Abstrak: Usaha kepala sekolah untuk peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru dapat menunjang pencapaian tujuan pendidikan di sekolah. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui program pelaksanaan dan hambatan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek  penelitian  adalah:  Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala  Sekolah dan guru SD Negeri Unggul Montasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Program peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru yang dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah SD Negeri Unggul Montasik antara lain: pelatihan penyusunan RPP dan analisis (SKL, KI dan KD), mengaktifkan KKG, peningkatan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan peningkatan kualisifikasi guru. 2) Pelaksanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru oleh kepala sekolah SD Negeri Unggul Montasik yaitu pelatihan penyusunan Silabus dan RPP, penerapan pembelajaran PAIKEM tidak ada program peningkatan namun pelaksanaan sudah dilaksanakan, mengikuti Kerja Kelompok Guru, mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan dan penataran-penataran baik yang dilaksanakan di sekolah maupun diluar sekolah dan meningkatkan kualifikasi guru kejenjang lebih tinggi. 3) Hambatan-hambatan yang dialami kepala sekolah  dalam meningkatkan kompetensiprofesional guru pada SD Negeri Unggul Montasik adalah kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, kurangnya tanggungjawab guru terhadap sekolah.         Kata Kunci: Strategi Kepala Sekolah dan Kompetensi Profesional Guru</text>

                <text>Abstrak: Kurikulum sekolah menengah merupakan seperangkat pengalaman belajar yang dirancang untuk siswa sekolah menengah dalam usaha mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Untuk itu, diperlukan suatu pola pengelolaan yang memadai, yang disebut dengan manajemen kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum pada SMA Negeri 1 Buengcala Kabupaten Aceh Besar dalam hal perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hambatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan kurikulum dimulai dari pengembangan silabus dengan merancang pembelajaran yang berisi rencana materi ajar, pengelompokan materi, dan penyajian materi hal ini dapat dilihat dari program tahunan, program semester, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, criteria ketuntasan minimal; (2) Pelaksanaan kurikulum yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran yang meliputi penugasan guru, pemberian tugas tambahan, penyusunan jadwal, pembagian rombongan belajar, pengisian absen guru dan siswa, penetapan kegiatan ekstra kurikulur, pelaksanaan ujian dan pengisian rapor dan remedial serta peran guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum juga pengambilan keputusan dan mengimplementasikan program pengajaran; (3) Ada hambatan berarti yang dialami kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum di SMA Negeri 1 Buengcala Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Akan tetapi diperlukan pembinaan dari kepala sekolah dan komitmen guru untuk melaksanakan kurikulum di SMA Negeri 1 Buengcala. Pembinaan dari kepala sekolah dengan adanya reward dan punishment, sehingga guru-guru yang memiliki komitmen mendapatkan penghargaan dan sebaliknya.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Kurikulum</text>

                <text>Abstract: One of factor in improving the ability of the headmaster is the schoolsupervisor. This study aims to determine the pattern of the ways to motivate supervisors, discipline supervisor, supervisors preparation program, and the constraints faced by supervisors in improving the performance of headmaster in MAN Janarata district Bener Meriah. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and study documentation. Research subjects is school supervisor, headmaster, MGMP leader, and teacher. The results showed: (1) Provisionmotivation by school supervisor shaped career development opportunities, seminars, continuing education, participation in target setting, recognition and clear expectations. (2) fostering supervisory discipline in improving the performance of school principals in MAN Janarata district Bener Meriah is do with persuasive approach in guiding of headmaster, supervising headmaster, and determine job description to the headmaster as well as giving sanction to the principal in accordance with the level of the infraction. (3) PreparationProgram by establishing the quality policy, setting performance indicators and targets, implementing quality improvement. (4) In hibiting factores school supervisor in improving the performance of headmaster include: lack of socialization of school rules, lack of coordination of school, lack of work discipline.Keyword: Performance and Supervisors</text>

                <text>Abstract: The School Operational Assistance (BOS)program as one of the indicators of the completion of compulsory education program started from elementary school until senior high school/equal does not only aim to maintain the Gross Participation Rate but also to contribute important roles in improving the quality of education. The education fee is an important component in the implementation of education. The education process cannot run smoothly without financial support. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the matters related to the program of using the BOS funds, the strategy of usingthe BOS funds, and the supervision of the use ofBOS funds at Private Islamic Elementary Schools of Pidie Regency. The method used in this study was descriptive method with qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection used were interview, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were school principals, teachers, school treasures, and school committees. The result of this study showed that: (1) The program of using BOS funds at Private Islamic Elementary Schools of Pidie Regency was designed and implemented by the school principals with involving the school treasures, the senior teachers, and the school committees. The centralistic and de-centralistic system was adopted in Islamic elementary school financial system. (2) The strategy of using BOSat Private Islamic Elementary Schools of Pidie Regency in term of financial point was that all kind of expenditures for educational activity at school should be transparent for both the school principal and other school internals that are involved in the drafting process of School Budget.(3) The supervision of the use of BOS funds at Private Islamic Elementary Schools of Pidie Regency was carried out by the school principals and the officials of Regional Office of Religious Affairs of Pidie Regency as the internal supervisor. The supervision system was carried out through observing each income and expenditure of BOS funds. The audit by implementing indirect observation process, such as the expenditure, should be approved by the school principals or school treasures. The financial auditing was also carried out through auditing the financial statement of each activities, which were submitted by teachers or school treasures.Keywords:   Effectiveness, School Operational Assistance Funds, and Private Islamic Elementary SchoolsAbstrak: Program BOS sebagai salah satu indikator penuntasan program wajib belajar sejak SD sampai SMA/sederajat, bukan hanya bertujuan mempertahankan Angka Partisipasi Kasar (APK), namun juga berkontribusi penting untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Biaya pendidikan adalah komponen yang sangat penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Proses pendidikan tidak dapat berjalan tanpa dukungan biaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsi dan  menganalisis hal-hal yang berkenaan dengan: program penggunaan dana BOS, strategi penggunaan dana BOS, dan pengawasan penggunaan dana BOS pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kabupaten Pidie. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian: kepala sekolah, guru, bendaharawan sekolah, dan komite sekolah. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Program penggunaan dana BOS pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kabupaten Pidie disusun dan dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah, dengan melibatkan bendaharawan, guru senior, dan komite sekolah. Pembiayaan pada madrasah ibtidaiyah menganut sistem sentralistik dan desentralistik; (2) Strategi penggunaan dana BOS pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kabupaten Pidie ditinjau dari sisi keuangan, bahwa semua jenis pengeluaran untuk kegiatan pendidikan pada sekolah harus diketahui bersama, baik kepala sekolah maupun pihak-pihak internal sekolah yang terlibat dalam proses penyusunan RAPBS; dan (3) Pengawasan penggunaan dana BOS pada madrasah ibtidaiyah swasta di Kabupaten Pidie dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan pejabat dari Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Pidie sebagai pengawas internal. Sistem pengawasan yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara mengamati setiap pemasukan dan pengeluaran dana BOS. Pemantauan atau pemeriksaan dengan melakukan pengamatan secara tidak langsung misalnya setiap pengeluaran dana harus atas persetujuan kepala sekolah atau bendaharawan. Pemeriksaan keuangan juga dilakukan dengan cara memeriksa laporan keuangan pada setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan, yang diserahkan oleh guru atau bendaharawan.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Dana BOS, dan MIS </text>

                <text>Abstract: Leadership is the principal determining school progress in implementing various school programs. In order to improve the performance of teachers, principals, guidance teachers can malakukan systematically. With the expected performance of good teachers has implications for the improvement of student achievement shown in the learning process effectively. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Subjects were principals and teachers on Meureudu Islamic junior high school Pidie Jaya. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The head of the school in improving labor discipline teacher at Meureudu Islamic junior high school of Pidie Jaya, 2) principal in improving teachers' work commitment on Meureudu Pidie Jaya district, 3) principal responsibility in improving the work of teachers in Meureudu Islamic junior high school Pidie Jaya. The results showed: 1) The head of the school in improving labor discipline teacher at Meureudu to conduct training either individually or in groups via pengaraha, held a picket through daily oversight and take action for the breach of discipline. The school principal also doing by providing an appeal, reprimand, conduct classroom observations and motivate teachers to perform their duties properly. 2) The head of the school in improving teachers' work commitment on Meureudu Islamic junior high school Pidie Jaya district to include teachers in a variety of activities including, involving teachers in upgrading, involving teachers in Congress Subject Teacher (MGMP). 3) The principal responsibility of teachers in improving the Meureudu Islamic junior high school by developing performance of teachers in various teaching programs and motivate teachers to enable MGMP activities.Keywords: Principal Leadership and Teacher PerformanceAbstrak: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangatlah menentukan kemajuan sekolah dalam menjalankan berbagai program sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru pada MTsN Meureudu Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru pada MTsN Meureudu dengan melakukan pembinaan baik secara individual maupun kelompok melalui pengaraha, mengadakan pengawasan melalui piket harian dan melakukan tindakan bagi yang melanggar disiplin. Kepala sekolah juga melakukan dengan cara memberikan himbauan, teguran, melakukan observasi kelas serta memotivasi guru agar dapat melaksanakan tugasnya sebagaimana mestinya. 2) Kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan komitmen kerja guru pada MTsN Meureudu Kabupaten Pidie Jaya dengan mengikutsertakan guru dalam berbagai kegiatan meliputi, mengikutsertakan guru dalam penataran, melibatkan guru dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). 3) Kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab guru pada MTsN Meureudu dengan melakukan pengembangan kinerja guru dalam malaksanakan berbagai program pengajaran dan memotivasi guru agar mengaktifkan kegiatan MGMP.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Kinerja Guru</text>

                <text>Abstract: This study aims to determine the mechanism, consideration, implementation, and dissemination of the principal decision-making through strategic management at Bandar Baru SMPN 1. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach, data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation study. Subjects were principals, vice-principals, and teachers. The results showed that: (1) The mechanism of decision-making is done by identifying activities problems, formulate goals, determine alternatives, determine solutions, and decision-making, (2) consideration in decision-making is done by consensus paths between teachers and employees, (3) Implementation of decision-making implemented through legalization, operational plans, and communication, and action, monitoring, review and evaluation, and (4) socialization of decisions implemented through an open explanation to the vice principal and carried out according to plan.Keywords : strategic management, and decision makingAbstrak:Peneli­tian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme, pertimbangan, implementasi, dan sosialisasi keputusan pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah melalui manajemen strategik pada SMPN 1 Bandar Baru. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Mekanisme pengambilan keputusan dilakukan dengan kegiatan identifikasi permasalahan, merumuskan tujuan, menentukan alternatif, menentukan solusi, dan menentukan keputusan; (2) Pertimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan dilakukan dengan alur musyawarah antara guru dan karyawan; (3) Implementasi pengambilan keputusan dilaksanakan melalui legalisasi keputusan, rancangan operasional, sosialisasi dan komunikasi, aksi dan tindakan, pengawasan, review dan evaluasi; dan (4) Sosialisasi keputusan diterapkan melalui penjelasan secara terbuka dengan wakil kepala sekolah dan dilaksanakan sesuai rencana.Kata kunci : Manajemen strategik, dan pengambilan keputusan</text>

                <text>Abstract: This study aims to determine of work program of teaching supervision, implementation supervision of teaching, and the principal constraints in implementation of the teaching supervision. To achieve these objectives, this study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The procedure of data analysis is data reduction, data display, and verification. While the subject of research is the principal, vice principal, and teacher. The results showed that: (1) The work program for the supervision of teaching principals at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar District and SMAN Peukan Bada Aceh Besar District already has a good design for a period of one year to the next and reformulated in the years for future; (2) The supervision of teaching adopted by the heads of High School 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar District implemented an indirect approach, while the head of High School Peukan Bada Aceh Besar District using the direct approach; and (3) The principal constraints encountered in implementation of the teaching supervision, among others: (a) the supervision of the teaching approach, the least time owned by the principal making it difficult to supervise the implementation of the agenda, (b) technical supervision of teaching, more attention to the psychological aspects of teacher and these factors will determine the course of implementation of the program of teaching supervision, and (c) the teacher's behavior at the time of supervision of teaching, teachers conditions are very varied and highly dependent on the technique used by the principal.Keywords: Supervision of Teaching and Teacher Professionalism Improved.Abstrak: Peneli­tian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program kerja supervisi pengajaran, pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran, dan kendala kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Program kerja supervisi pengajaran kepala sekolah untuk SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan SMA Negeri Peukan Bada Kabupaten Aceh Besar sudah memiliki rancangan yang baik untuk jangka waktu satu tahun ke depan dan dirumuskan kembali di tahun yang akan datang; (2) Pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran yang diterapkan oleh kepala SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah Kabupaten Aceh Besar dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan tidak langsung, sedangkan kepala SMA Negeri Peukan Bada Kabupaten Aceh Besar menggunakan pendekatan langsung; dan (3) Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran antara lain: (a) pendekatan supervisi pengajaran, sedikitnya waktu yang dimiliki oleh kepala sekolah sehingga pelaksanaan supervisi sulit untuk diagendakan, (b) teknik supervisi pengajaran, lebih memperhatikan pada aspek psikologis guru dan faktor ini sangat menentukan jalannya pelaksanaan program supervisi pengajaran, dan (c) perilaku guru pada saat dilakukan supervisi pengajaran, kondisi guru-guru sangat variatif dan sangat tergantung pada teknik yang digunakan oleh kepala sekolah.Kata kunci : Supervisi Pengajaran dan Peningkatan Profesionalisme Guru</text>

                <text>Abstract: Style principals strongly influence the behavior of subordinates, but if subordinate behavior may not necessarily be able to influence the behavior of their superiors. Principal's leadership style is a consistent pattern of behavior shown by the leader and the other party known as a leader trying to influence the activities of others. The purpose of the study to determine the leadership style of the principal, including: (1) Discipline; (2) Commitment; (3) Ability and (4) The responsibility of the teacher. Qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques performed with interview guides, observation, and study documentation. Subjects were principals, teachers and supervisors in SD Negeri 7 Muara Dua Lhoksuemawe. The results of the study found: (1) the principal's style of leadership in promoting the discipline of teachers, is a style of informing (telling), in addition to telling style, principals also apply situational style; (2) the principal's leadership style in improving teacher commitment is selling styles (consultative) by directing the teacher to complete the task; (3) the principal's leadership style to improve the ability of teachers, namely the implementation of a participative style during an internal meeting board of teachers and other meetings; and (4) the principal's style of leadership in improving the teacher's responsibility, is to force the sharing discretionary authority to the members of the organization to carry out the task. Expected to supervisors and principals in order to give impetus and direction in the performance of discipline, commitment, ability and responsibility of teachers to effectively and efficiently to improve the performance of teachers in schools.Keywords: Principal Leadership Styles and Teacher PerformanceAbstrak: Gaya kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi perilaku bawahannya, tetapi bila perilaku bawahan belum tentu dapat mempengaruhi perilaku atasannya. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah adalah suatu pola perilaku konsisten yang ditunjukkan oleh pemimpin dan diketahui pihak lain ketika pemimpin berusaha memengaruhi kegiatan orang lain. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, meliputi: (1) Disiplin; (2) Komitmen; (3) Kemampuan dan (4) Tanggung jawab guru. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan pengawas di SD Negeri 7 Muara Dua Lhoksuemawe. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin guru, adalah gaya memberitahukan (telling), selain gaya telling, kepala sekolah juga menerapkan gaya situasional; (2) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan komitmen guru adalah gaya selling (konsultatif) dengan mengarahkan guru untuk menyelesaikan tugasnya; (3) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru, yaitu gaya partisipatif yang diterapkannya pada saat rapat internal dewan guru dan rapat lainnya; dan (4) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab guru, ialah gaya delegatif yaitu melakukan sharing authority kepada anggota untuk melaksanakan tugas organisasi. Diharapkan kepada pengawas dan kepala sekolah supaya dapat memberikan dorongan dan arahan dalam kerja tentang disiplin, komitmen, kemampuan dan tanggungjawab guru secara efektif dan efesien untuk meningkatkan kerja di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Kinerja Guru</text>
