The aim is to figure out the learning outcomes and the quality of math test of students grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh Academic Year 2011/2012. Quality of test includes the analysis of validity, reliability, difficulty level, item discrimination and distractor analysis. The population in this research is all student class VIII consists of VIII-1 with 21 students, class VIII-2 with 21 students, class VIII-3 with 21 students and class VIII-4 with 19 students. The total samples are 82 students with the number of multiple choice test is 25 questions and 5 questions of essay.  Data collections in this research by using documentation technique, by checking the students answer sheet in even semester examination academic year 2011/2012. The results shows that (1) the validity of multiples choice questions was low and sufficient for essay, (2) the reliability of multiples choice and essay were good enough, (3) difficulty level of the multiple choice and essay questions were good enough, (4) item discrimination of multiple choice questions still low but the essay questions in good categorize for 60% and bad for 40%. The quality of mathematics test in SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh is low for multiple choice questions and sufficient for essay. Thus we can conclude the analysis of learning outcomes data grade VIII SMP 9 Banda Aceh in the classical mastery learning achievement is only 3.66%. This study is a qualitative research-description. The samples are 4 students of  Teacher Education Mathematics Faculty Unsyiah who take courses Graph Theory on academic year 2012/2013. The subjects was choosen based on the observation who are active, less active and not active students in the learning, and also GPA more than three. The data were obtained from observations, interviews and written responses of research subjects. Mathematical communication skills of students who studied as follows, subject I has fair mathematical communication skills, subject II has very good mathematical communication skills, subjects III has  good mathematical communication skills, and subjects IV has a fair mathematical communication skills. Habits of Mind research subjects is shown as follows; Habits of mind subject I included into the fair category. Habits of Mind of subjects II included into the excellent category, whereas habits of mind of subject III included into the very good category. The result research show that model application of cooperative learning STAD type can during learning at ranks and line aritmetics at class IX SMPN 1 Labuhanhaji South Aceh. This thing can see from the raising completeness learning in every siclus. Clasical completeness in siclus I is 81,82% with the average value 79,24, classical completeness in siclus II is 90.91% with average value 86,21 or increase 8,08% equivalent with average value in siclus I. Procedural understanding is that task completion procedure can be given via a demonstration by the teacher. Assumed inductive learning strategies can improve conceptual understanding and procedural math students. This study was conducted to see the effect of inductive learning strategy to increase conceptual understanding and procedural mathematics student and it is a mixed method study. This study is a population that is all class XI IPA MAN Kuta Baro Aceh Besar, which consists of two classes. Obtain experimental class learning with inductive learning strategy and classroom learning gain control conventional. The research instrument consisted of conceptual understanding and procedural tests and interviews. Processing data by using SPSS, Microsoft Excel, t-test and Mann-Whitney test. Data processing results obtained: 1) there is no difference increased conceptual understanding of mathematics students who learn by inductive learning strategy and the learning with conventional learning, both in terms of overall student well in terms of student ratings of high, medium and low, 2) there is a difference increase in the  procedural understanding of mathematical students are learning with inductive learning strategy and the learning with conventional learning, both in terms of overall students and students from low ratings, but there is no difference in terms of improvement when students rank high and medium. Pada sisi lain pembelajaran yang dilakukan kurang memperhatikan aspek konstruktivis. Pembelajaran cenderung berpusat pada guru. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya rancangan strategi pembelajaran yang berorientasi konstruktivis serta memperhatikan perkembangan intelektual siswa Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kondisi tersebut adalah strategi pembelajaran berdasarkan teori Bruner.Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SD Karunadipa Palu terhadap konsep volume bangun ruang (kubus, balok dan tabung). Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan model Spiral Kemmis dan Taggart dengan prosedur sebagai berikut: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi/ evaluasi dan (4) refleksi. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik relatif rendah dan perolehan skor tes awal di bawah 60 pada kelas 5b.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemahaman siswa SD Karunadipa Palu dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang dirancang berdasarkan pendekatan konstruktivis (teori belajar Bruner). This study aimed to analyze the pre-service teachers’ ability to create and use rubrics in assess students’ performance. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. We used two scoring rubrics, to assess the pre-service teachers’s ability in designed and use their rubrics.
