The purpose of this study to determine the program, program implementation, evaluation and barriers faced by principals to improve the quality of education at the Junior High School 2 Mesjid Raya of Aceh Besar district. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects principals, vice-principals, school committee, chairman MGMPs, teachers and supervisors. Data were analyzed by reducing, display, draw conclusions and verification of data. The results showed: (1) Programs are arranged not entirely based on the consensus reached school personnel. Quality improvement programs documented in the annual program and semester program to be used as a reference in implementing the program. (2) The implementation of the quality improvement program begins with the division of tasks with daily activities forming the executive committee of the school. Programs implemented not entirely based on a predetermined schedule. If the principal is absent, then the authority to implement the program submitted to the vice-principal or a senior teacher. (3) The evaluation was conducted by a committee or team that has been formed by the principal that includes principals, vice principals, supervisors and senior teachers. Prior to the evaluation carried out, the executive committee drafting and preparing instruments evaluation beforehand. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui program, pelaksanaan program, Evaluasi dan hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada SMP Negeri 2 Unggul Mesjid Raya Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, ketua MGMP, guru dan pengawas. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi, display, mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Program disusun tidak semuanya berdasarkan hasil musyawarah personel sekolah. Program peningkatan mutu didokumentasikan dalam program tahunan dan program semester untuk dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam melaksanakan program. (2) Pelaksanaan program peningkatan mutu diawali dengan pembagian tugas dengan membentuk panitia pelaksana kegiatan harian sekolah. Program dilaksanakan tidak seluruhnya berdasarkan jadwal yang telah ditetapkan. Apabila kepala sekolah berhalangan, maka wewenang pelaksanaan program tersebut diserahkan kepada wakil kepala sekolah atau guru senior. (3) Evaluasi dilaksanakan oleh panitia atau tim yang telah dibentuk oleh kepala sekolah yang meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, pengawas dan guru senior. Sebelum evaluasi dilaksanakan, panitia pelaksana evaluasi menyusun dan menyiapkan instrumen terlebih dahulu. The current beliefs consider that a conflict is not merely a disadvantage but it can bring advantages to the organization if it is well-controlled. Conflict management is a conflict resolution under pressure and in emotional environment. The objective of this research is to find out (1) the types of conflict; (2) sources of conflict; (3) director point of view regardingthe form of conflict; (4) approaches for conflict management; and (5) organization productivity at Muhammadiyah Midwifery Academy of Banda Aceh. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. The data were collected by doing interview, observation and documentation study. This study aimed to find out program, implementation, obstacles, and supporting factor in production unit empowerment. This study used descriptive method and qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis used were data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and data verification. Subjects of the study were principal, vice principal, head of production unit, head of production sub-unit, school supervisors, school committee and teachers. The results of the study showed that: 1) Programs were formulated based on analysis that included human resource, facility, finance, market aspect, and other considerations that involved all personnel through discussion at the end of each school year. Production units run were V Mart and Graphic business. 2) The implementation of the empowerment program involved human resource from the school and outside of the school. Source of funds used was funds from school. State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 of Banda Aceh established cooperation with SMKN 2 of Banda Aceh in printing of answer and question sheet and other printing forms. In V-Mart business, SMKN 1 of Banda Aceh established cooperation with some suppliers of goods and school cooperative enterprise both with SMKN 2 of Banda Aceh and SMKN 3 of Banda Aceh for stationeries and other household goods for members of the school cooperation. 3) Supporting factors of the empowerment of production unit were adequate human resource and facility, support from related parties, and good market aspects. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program, pelaksanaan, hambatan dan pendukung pemberdayaan unit produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu mereduksi, display, mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Program dirumuskan berdasarkan analisis yang meliputi SDM, fasilitas, keuangan, aspek pasar dan beberapa pertimbangan lainya dengan melibatkan semua personil melalui musyawarah pada setiap akhir tahun ajaran. Unit produksi yang dijalankan yaitu V Mart dan Usaha Grafika. 2) Pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan diawali dengan pengorganisasian yang melibatkan SDM dari dalam sekolah dan dari luar sekolah. Sumber biaya yang dipakai adalah dana dari sekolah. Kerjasama dilakukan dengan SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh berupa percetakan lembaran soal dan lembaran jawaban serta percetakan lainnya. Sementara untuk usaha V Mart dengan beberapa pemasok barang dan koperasi sekolah baik SMKN 2 Banda Aceh dan SMKN 3 Banda Aceh untuk kebutuhan barang ATK dan kebutuhan rumah tangga lainya bagi anggota koperasi. 3) Faktor pendukung pemberdayaan unit produksi adalah adanya dukungan SDM dan fasilitas yang memadai, dukungan pihak terkait dan memilki aspek pasar yang sangat bagus. The government expects that the certification improve teacher performance and the national education quality especially student learning outcomes. The general objective of this study was to find out to what extent the certification and teacher performance influence student learning outcomes in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School. The specific objectives of this study was to describe (1) the influence of the certification on the improvement of student learning outcomes in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School and (2) the influence of the teacher performance on the improvement of student learning outcomes in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School in planning and implementing learning process. This study used descriptive design with qualitative approach that focused on correlation of the variables, that is teacher certification (X1), teacher performance (X2), and learning outcomes (Y). Population of this study was all teacher in SMPN 2 Banda Aceh State Junior High School while samples were teachers who have had the certification. Data were collected through questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data from questionnaire that have been scored for teacher certification and performance then were processed by using statistic method. The results showed that there was significant correlation of teacher certification and performance with the student learning outcomes, that is (1) there was positive influence of the teacher certification on student learning outcomes and (2) there was positive influence of the teacher performance on student learning outcomes.Keywords: The Influence of Teacher Certification and Performance.Abstrak: : Program sertifikasi guru merupakan program dari pemerintah sebagai upaya untuk mendapatkan guru yang profesional. Adapun tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh sertifikasi dan kinerja guru terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Sedangkan sampel guru-guru yang telah memiliki sertifikat pendidik. dan Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan metode pengolahan dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil kuisioner yang telah diberi bobot untuk sertifikasi dan kinerja guru yang mempengaruhi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, yang selanjutnya diolah dengan metode statistik. This study aimed to observe the process of developing teaching materials done by the teachers in learning process in Jeumala Amal Islamic Senior High School of Lueng Putu, where the conceptual teaching materials was a supportive facility in optimizing the learning and education process to achieve the goals expected. To achieve the aim, this study used qualitative approach. Techniques of data collection used were interview, observation, and documentation study. Subjects of this study were principal, vice principal, and teachers. The results of the study described that (1) the teachers tended to have creativity to develop teaching materials in learning process of Islamic Education (PAI) in Jeumala Amal Islamic Senior High School of Lueng Putu. The creativity could be seen from the variation of teaching materials developed, which came from teachers’ own creativity, school library, bookstore, related department’s aid, or websites. The teaching materials used with their various intensity of use and quality included books, pictures, brochures, mock-up, cassette, and CD; and (2) the effort done by the teachers in developing teaching materials were trying to design and be creative to produce and use teaching materials needed based on the material and sub-material of PAI scope.Keywords: Teacher’s Creativity and Developing Teaching MaterialsAbstrak: : Kreativitas menjadi kunci yang berorientasi kepada efektifnya proses pembelajaran yang di lakukan dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan pendidikan yang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengembangan bahan ajar yang digunakan guru dalam proses pembelajaran pada Madrasah Aliyah Jeumala Amal Lueng Putu dimana bahan ajar secara konseptual merupakan suatu sarana pendukung dalam upaya optimalisasi proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan yang di harapkan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data di lakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, serta guru. Hasil yang diperoleh mendeskripsikan bahwa, (1) guru dalam pengembangan bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran PAI pada Madrasah Aliyah Jeumala Amal Lueng Putu cenderung memiliki kreativitas, bentuk kreativitas ini dapat dilihat dari bervariasinyaba han ajar yang di kembangkan, baik sebagai hasil kreasi sendiri, disediakan oleh perpustakaan sekolah, dibelidaritoko-toko penjualannya, bantuan dinas terkait, maupun yang di unduh dari berbagai website yang ada. The purpose of this research was to obtain complete data on the implementation of the teaching supervision by the supervisor in order to improve the professional competence of teachers in State Islamic Elementary School Meulaboh of Aceh Barat Regency. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentary study. Subjects of the study were school supervisor, principal and teachers. This study concludes that, teaching supervision programs compiled by the supervisor were semester program and annual program that included the coaching of teacher performance in group and individual. Teaching supervision was done through classroom observation, individual meetings, group discussions and demonstrations of teaching. Obstacles faced were the lack of supervisory personnel, lack of knowledge of the teachers about the management of teaching and learning, limited learning facilities and infrastructure, lack of ability of the teacher in preparing learning program, lack of teachers using instructional media. Supervision was conducted by using class visit, debriefing and discussion technique.Keywords: Supervision, Teaching, Competence, ProfessionalAbstrak: Supervisi pengajaran merupakan salah satu cara untuk membantu guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai seorang guru yang professional. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk memperoleh data yang lengkap tentang pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran oleh pengawas madrasah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pada MIN Meulaboh Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, subjek penelitian adalah Pengawas Madrasah, Kepala Madrasah, wakil kepala bidak pengajaran dan guru. Penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa, program supervisi pengajaran yang disusun oleh pengawas madrasah adalah program semester dan program tahunan yang meliputi pembinaan kinerja guru dalam kelompok dan pembinaan  individual guru. Pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran dalam rangka peningkatan kompetensi professional guru dilakukan melalui observasi kelas, pertemuan individu, diskusi kelompok dan demontrasi mengajar, hambatan hambatan yang dihadapi pengawas madrasah dalam pelasanaan supervisi adalah  kurangnya tenaga pengawas madrasah di Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Aceh Barat, kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menyusun program pembelajaran, kurangnya guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran, teknik pelaksanaan dalam pelaksanaan supervisi menggunakan Supervisi manajerial.Kata kunci: Supervisi, Pengajaran, Kompetensi, Profesional. Principal as resources in schools are needed by teachers, in order that delivered can be implemented for the development of teachers themselves and also for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication principals, include: Professional teacher; Discipline teacher; and responsibilities of teachers. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods, techniques of data collection is done through interview, observation guidelines, and documentation. Research subjects are teachers, heads, and school committee in SMA 1 Geumpang. The research found: Communication principals in improving teachers' professional that convey a message to the teacher either orally (calling and direct warning) or in writing (letter of warning); Communication principals in improving teacher discipline that is a great example by attending to school on time and return the end; and Communication principals in improving the teacher's responsibility is interpersonal communication and communication in solving problems in learning how to coordinate and seek solutions to the committee and the school superintendent, and the Department of Education related. Kepala Sekolah sebagai sumber informasi di sekolah sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru-guru, agar yang disampaikan dapat terlaksana bagi pengembangan guru itu sendiri dan juga bagi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komunikasi kepala sekolah, meliputi: Profesional guru; Disiplin guru; dan Tanggung jawab guru. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ialah guru-guru, kepala, dan komite sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Geumpang. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: Komunikasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesional guru yaitu menyampaikan pesan kepada guru baik secara cara lisan (memanggil dan teguran langsung) maupun secara tulisan (surat peringatan); Komunikasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin guru yaitu memberikan contoh teladan dengan hadir ke sekolah tepat waktu dan pulang paling akhir; dan Komunikasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab guru yaitu komunikasi antar pribadi dan komunikasi dalam memecahkan masalah di dalam pembelajaran dengan cara mengkoordinasi dan mencari solusi dengan komite dan pengawas sekolah, serta Dinas Pendidikan terkait. This study aimed to find out the planning, implementation, evaluation, and problems faced by teachers when implemented Innovative Learning Management in Economic at Senior High School 1 of Banda Aceh. The research method used was descriptive method with qualitative approach. Techniques of data collection used were observation, interview, and documentation study. The research subjects were principal, Economic teachers, and students. The results showed that the innovative lesson plan, which was planned by teachers through observing, ask, collect data, associate and communicate material that has been determined, was oriented to the curriculum in 2013 and arranged in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and learning orientation was adjusted to the level of education (Senior High School). In arranging the Lesson Implementation Plan of curriculum in 2013, teachers referred to four core competencies including religious affective, social affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects that should be by every student. Learning was implemented by using learning innovative concept with a variety of learning in the inside and outside classroom, as well asusing contextual learning model. Evaluation of innovative learning was conducted witht wo evaluations, learning process evaluation and the learning outcomes evaluation. There are two inhibiting factors in implementing innovative learning, namely: the variety ability of learners and the teachers do not maximize the use of learning media to support the learning process.Keywords: Learning management and Innovative learning concept.Abstrak: Manajemen pembelajaran inovatif pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di Sekolah Menengah Atas merupakan suatu pilihan yang tepat dilakukan oleh guru, karena mata pelajaran ekonomi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang harus dikelola secara profesional yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru ketika melaksanakan proses pembelajaran inovatif pada pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru mata pelajaran ekonomi, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran inovatif direncanakan oleh guru melalui mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan data, mengasosiasi dan mengkomunikasikan materi yang telah ditentukan. Semua kegiatan tersebut direncanakan guru sesuai dengan pedoman kurikulum 2013, dan orientasi pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan tingkat pendidikan (Sekolah Menengah Atas). Dalam penyusunan RPP Kurikulum 2013, guru mempedomani empat kompetensi inti yang hendak dicapai dalam pembelajaran yang meliputi kompetensi tentang sisi afektif keagamaan, sisi afektif prilaku sosial, sisi kognitif dan sisi psikomotor yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap siswa. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan konsep pembelajaran inovatif yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan pembelajaran yang bervariasi di luar dan di dalam kelas, serta menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual. Evaluasi pembelajaran inovatif dilaksanakan dengan dua evaluasi, yaitu evaluasi proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran. Ada dua faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran inovatif, yaitu: kemampuan peserta didik yang beragam dan guru yang belum memanfaatkan media pembelajaran secara maksimal untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Pembelajaran dan Konsep Pembelajaran Inovatif.
