These are the source of network congestion, which can interfere the communication data rate. This study discusses a system to overcome the congestion with Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) scalability-based approach, for the video sequence encoding method into two layers, which is a solution to decrease encoding mode for each packet and channel coding rate. The goal is to minimize any distortion from the source to the destination. The coding system used is a video coding standards that is MPEG-2 or H.263 with SNR scalability. The algorithm used for motion compensation, temporal redundancy and spatial redundancy is the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and quantization. The transmission error is simulated by adding Gaussian noise (error) on motion vectors. From the simulation results, the SNR and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) in the noisy video frames decline with averages of 3dB and 4dB respectively. The experiments describe the effect of P, I, and D element. It also discusses the best possible controller, which is a PI controller, for the liquid level tank system. The liquid level controlling is done by adjusting the voltage pump which will further regulate the flow rate of the fluid entering the inlet valve. The liquid that flows through the outlet valve is considered as the disturbance variable to the system. The liquid tank sensor needs to be calibrated prior to the experiments. Several systems have been implemented to reduce levels of microorganisms is the use of disinfectants, the membrane filtration and activated carbon absorption. These systems have several weaknesses, so that not all microorganisms can be removed from drinking water. The plasma system is an applicable technology for removing organic compounds and microorganisms in drinking water. By creating plasma in water will produce several of active species such as OH-, H+, O3 and H2O2 that has a high oxidation potential, decompose organic compounds and kill microorganisms in the water significantly. This paper will describe the removal of microorganisms in drinking water using a plasma system by the method of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD ). The results howed that the pH of drinking water produced in the range 6.5 to 7.3. The higher voltage causes the higher the conductivity, temperature and ORP water. Removal efficiency for the content of microorganisms Coli Fecal and Coliform in the range 99.2 to 100% after water was injected voltage of 13-17 kV for 10 minutes. Harmonics reduction that has been achieved with the passive filters is not quite satisfactory, thus development of active filters is required. This research proposes the use of parallel active filter design using a three-level inverter with the scheme of Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) that is used to reduce harmonics. The use of three stages Multilevel Inverter (MLI) on parallel active filter has several advantages that are lowering harmonic distortion and reducing stress switching. From the simulation results, it was obtained that three parallel active filters were capable of reducing the level of harmonic currents and voltages at the source; THDi before installation of the filter was equal to 26,16% and can be lowered to 2,42%. While THDv was reduced from 0,45% to 0,17%. Fifth-order harmonics is the most disturbing harmonic component, in which the value of IHDi beforeinstalling the filter is equal to 21,44% and reduce to 1,2% after the installation of the active filter. In this paper, the parameters of BCH codes are introduced and used to investigate its applications, characteristics and performance when employed as inner and outer code in decoding method. To evaluate the parameters, three types of BCH codes: (7,4,3), (15,11,3) and (31,26,3); are applied. In addition, the implementation of BCJR (Bahl, Cocke, Jelinek and Raviv) algorithm is discussed by applying APP-SISO (a posteriori probabilities – Soft Input Soft Output) decoding for BCH codes. The proposed cheme employing inner and outer decoding of BCH codes is analyzed and compared by using EXIT characteristic of BCH decoders. The channel capacity measurements for different rates inner BCH codes are described by using BPSK modulation over AWGN channel. Lastly, the BER performances of BCH codes are observed for different types, in order to obtain better performance of BER plot indeed.
