New BTS implementation is required to cover a wider area with good network quality. However, it often requires high cost and long time to get permission from the government and local residents. Swap and Modernization Project is a project that swap the previous 3G equipment using BTS 3900 Huawei with Ericsson RBS 6000 and modernize the 2G RBS 2000 to RBS 6000 and then carry out parameter settings to optimize the network. In this paper, we report the results of mobile network performance after Swap and Modernization projects had been done in terms of the signal strength improvements, which are showed by Rx Level, RSCP and CDD Dump parameters. The study was conducted in PT XL Axiata Northern Areas of Central Java with D5 cluster as a sample. The results show improvement of Rx Level that increased by 89.93 %, and RSCP value increased by 58.36 %. The swap and modernization of the BTS and parameter settings are able to improve CDD Dump parameters. These improvements are able to expand the coverage area of cluster D5 sites. The robot was developed from a prototype that has been studied previously with the addition on the hardware side of the sound activation and two sets of line detector. The robot will active if it receives input from the sound activation unit and will start to find the fire with “search the wall” navigation techniques. The line sensor was used as a door and home detector and circle the fire area.To extinguish the fire, this robot uses a fan driven by a BD139 transistor circuit. However, digital images transmitted over the Internet are very vulnerable to attacks, for examples modification and duplication by unauthorized people. Therefore, cryptography as one of method for data security has been developed. This research proposed a combination of color structure CIELab and key randomization by logistic map from chaos as new cipher in digital image cryptographic applications. Cipher is applied to the encryption and decryption process. Implementation of new cipher in cryptographic digital images application was built with Matlab R2010a. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that combination CIELab and chaos can be applied as a new cipher on the encryption and decryption of digital images for cryptographic applications with processing time less than 1 second. Under possible maximum key range on RGB image by 5,2x 1033, the cipher was sufficiently secure against brute-force attack. Decrypted image has good quality with PSNR greater than 50 dB for digital image formatted in “tiff” and “png”. The FLC controls the valve of the incoming fuel. The mini boiler is fueled by gas, has length of 80 cm and diameter of 40 cm. FLC is designed in four different models based on the number of membership function of the temperature variable, i.e., three, five, seven and nine membership functions. The input variables are “temperature” and “error”, and the output variable is “valve”. There are two types of disturbance given to the control system, the disturbance of the system working at set point 125 °C, and disturbance by changing the set point values. In the first type, the FLC is able to reach 125 °C for all models. In the second type, the set points are varied to 100 °C, and 150 °C. At set point 125 °C and 150 °C, the FLC is able to achieve the pre-determined set points for all models. Mean while at set point 100 °C, the FLC can stabilized the system at point of 97.92 °C for the first model, and at the point of 100 °C for other models. This research was done by performing studies in harmonic voltage and harmonic current from four different brands of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt and uses IEEE Standard of 519-1992 as a reference in determining maximum limitation voltage and current harmonics. The result of the tests were showed that total harmonic distortion (THD) voltage at each different brand of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt did not exceed the IEEE 519-1992 maximum limitation of 5%. While total harmonic distortion (THD) current at each different brand of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt had exceed result range exceeding 71,2%. After using low pass RC filter as passive electronic circuit, the total harmonic distortion (THD) current was obtained for each different brand of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt, it was showed that the range of total harmonic distortion (THD) current under 14,262%. A problem associated with the implementation of the micro-hydropower plant in the village is that the water flowrate of the run-of-river is varied at 117 litres per second during the wet season and at 36 litres per second during the dry season. This variation affects the speed of the water turbine and the capacity of power generated by its generator. Therefore to stabilize the output power and voltage of the generator during the course of the year, this paper aims to regulate the intake water flowing into the water turbine by controlling the opening vent valve from 0% up to 100% and controlling the electrical load connected to the generator. The speed of the water turbine was measured using the tachometer. It was found that the generator can produce electricity at its rated power 40 kVA during the wet season by opening the valve at 100% and at 12 kVA with the opening valve at 30% during the dry season.
