<text>The bigest point from CPO biodiesel is the high pour point, which is if used at low temperature will cause blockage the filter and fuel lines that make some problem in machine. To solve this problem was using pour point lowering additive, the widely used additive now was chemical commercial additive, which is have highest prices. Methyl ester that made form rubber seed oil have high free fatty acid needed two step reaction, esterification reaction to lowering the free fatty acid to £ 2% and transesterification reaction. The reaction variable was temperature, rubber seed oil/methanol ratio mol and concentrations ofKOH catalyst. Response Surface Methodology was used at transesterificstion reaction, first to know interaction variables effect in reaction, and seconded to get the optimum point. Optimum yield was obtained at 1/6 oil/methanol ratio mol, 1% concentration KOH catalyst and temperature 60°C with time reaction was 90 minutes. Reaction at the optimum condition obtains 99.61% conversion methyl ester (bioadditive) rubber seed oil.</text>

<text>Neuropathic pain is an expression of the nerve damage that impaired its excitability, such as increased excitability in the nerve lesion and surrounding healthy nerves as well. It is estimated that the incidence of neuropathic pain ranges between 2-40% of all adult men. Some neuropathic pain can not be cured, such as in patients with diabetes mellitus, trigeminal neuralgia, cervical syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, lumbar stenosis, herniated nucleus pulposus and the carcinoma. The pathophysiology of neuropathic pain are complex and not fully understood. Methylcobalamin is a metabolite of vitamin B12 acts as a coenzyme in the formation of methionine from homocysteine. This reaction is useful in the formation of DNA, as well as maintenance of nerve function. Through the methylation reaction, methylcobalamin also plays a role in the formation of lecithin, a protein that plays an important role in the regeneration of peripheral nerves, including the formation of myelin. This study aimed to determine animal mechanical alodinia with or without the administration of methylcobalamin. Twenty male Sprague Dawley rats, aged 2 months, with an average weight of 150-250 g, obtained from the Laboratory LPPT Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The mice were randomly divided into 4 groups, each consisting of 5 mice. All the rats, their fifth lumbar nerve were ligated. Group I was the control mice (C) 0.9% NaCl given, group II (M1) were given a dose of 50 microg methylcobalamin, group III (M2) were given a dose of 100 microg methylcobalamin, while group IV (M3) were given a dose of 150 microg methylcobalamin 13 weeks provision. For 13 weeks, neuropathic pain behavior was assessed. Neuropathic pain behavior in experimental animals observed about onset, duration and filaments Von Frey numbers that cause mechanical alodinia. Result of the study showed methylcobalamin influence the mechanical alodinia. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that there was a reduction in neuropathic pain in the methylcobalamin group compared with the control group.</text>

<text>The discovery of micro RNA (miRNA) in 1993 by Ambros and colleagues has a huge influence in pathogenesis theory, diagnosis and treatment approach of some diseases. Some studies have conducted to seek the association alterations of miRNA expression to incidences and severity of preeclampsia (PE). We have reviewed some studies that conducted to seek the association of miRNA and PE and we discussed the role of various miRNAs in PE pathogenesis. In summary, we have shown that many researchers have given evident that the different placental and plasma miRNA expression is associated with PE. Some studies also identified the novel candidate of miRNAs (and their pathways) that may be of etiologic relevance in the pathogenesis of PE. Base on review, specific miRNA have a role to down regulate of anti apoptosis genes, regulate angiogenics growth factors such as angiogenin, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) B (VEGF-β), cysteine-rich 61 (CYR61), Placental growth factor (PlGF) and VEGF-A that have a role in angiogenesis. miRNA also have a role in survival, migration, and capillary tube formation of HUVEC by targeted of c-kit. Some miRNAs target genes that participate in immunologic dysfunction, cell adhesion, cell cycle, and signaling. miRNA also have a roles in endothelial cell response to hypoxia, cell differentiation, and survival. A miRNA influence calcium signaling through negative regulations of the calmodulin-coding mRNAs, Mef2a and Gata4, mainly in smooth muscle cells that contribute to PE pathogenesis. These investigations provide novel targets for further investigation of the pathogenesis of PE and these differential miRNAs may be potential markers for the diagnosis and provide a potential therapeutic target for PE. Further investigations on posttranscriptional regulation in PE to evaluate biologic effects of identified miRNAs (including confirmations of miRNA and target gene interactions) are needed</text>

A total of 24 males Wistar mices were utilized as experimental animal in this study. The experimental animals were divided into 4 groups, and each group has 4 mices. The first group was a control which was injected with aquades (negative control), while three other groups (group 2 to group 4) were fed with Wedelia biflora extracts orally at doses of 20 g, 40 g and 60 g per kg body weight, respectively, and the fifth group was a positive control which was injected with 10% ovalbumin, and the last group was given antihistamin drug (Loratadine) as compared control. All of experimental animals were injected with ovalbumin on day 1, 7, and 21, except for negative control which were injected with distillated water. The ectracts of Wedelia biflora were fed for 21 days. The inflammation areas were measured using a digital caliper and analysis one-way Anova. The results showed that the treatment of Wedelia biflora were resulted in reducing inflammation size significantly (p<0.05) where the dose of 60 g/kg body weight was given the best result compared to other doses due to this value equivalent to antihistamine drug loratadine. We concluded that Wedelia biflora leaves extracts had the anti allergic effect.</text>

This research was done in four treatment and periods usind 4 x 4 latinsquared design (LSD). All animals were fed native grass ad libitum as a basal diet. The treatment were P0 (DM without the addition of probiotic starbio), P1 (DM with the addition of 2% probiotic starbio), P2 (DM with the additionof 4% probiotic starbio), P3 (DM with the addition of 6% probiotic starbo), with average initial body weight 157,25 + 10,7kg. The result of this research indicated that the averages of feed consumption in dry matter (kg/head/day)sach as: (3,50; 3,69; 3,83 and 3,88 respectively); average daily gain (ADG) (kg/head/day) such as: (0,52; 0,56; 0,60 and 0,63, respectively); Average of feed convertion ration such as: (6,711; 6,640; 6,369; and 6,198,respectively) and IOFC (Rp) such as : (182,132; 204,071; 234,798 and 251,004, respectively). The addition of probiotic starbio in the DM has a very significantly different (P<0,01) on feed intake and body weight gain of male bali cattle, however significant different (P<0,05) with feed conversion ration male bali cattle. It could be concluded that probiotic starbio could be used to increase feed consumption, body weight gain, feed efficiency in feed and IOFC.</text>

<text>This study aimed to determine the relationship between the method of delivery and the incidence of overweight or obesity during childhood. This study was conducted on June 2012 to March 2013 in four selected elementary schools in Iligan City, Philippines wherein 96 overweight to obese children between 5-8 years old were selected as respondents through purposive sampling technique. A descriptive-correlational research design was used. To gather the pertinent data and information, a researcher-made questionnaire was employed. The data gathered were then tabulated and analyzed using frequency and percentage distribution, Chi-square test and Spearman correlation coefficient. It was found out that there is no sufficient evidence to harbor a significant relationship between the method of delivery and the incidence of childhood overweight or obesity among the respondents. Thus, other factors should be explored to relate to overweight or obesity in childhood</text>

<text>Lantadenes are the pentacyclic triterpenoids present in the leaves of the plant Lantana camara. Pentacyclic triterpenes are often studied as their biological properties are considerable and contributes to the development of modern therapeutic drugs. In recent years various natural product based compounds are extensively studied for various pharmacological activities including antioxidant activity. Therefore, this study aims to determine the in vitro antioxidant activity of Lantadene A (from Lantana camara ) as results will enhance the knowledge of the compound towards development of hepatoprotective agents. The antioxidant assays performed on the compound were the DPPH radical scavenging assay, nitric oxide assay, superoxide anions scavenging activity and iron chelating assay. Results showed promising antioxidant activities as the IC50 for Lantadene A in the above assays were 6.574 mg/ml, 0.098 mg/ml, 2.506 mg/ml and 0.001 mg/ml respectively as compared to the standards (BHT, ascorbic acid and EDTA) 0.027 mg/ml, 0.075 mg/ml, 1.025 mg/ml and 0.47 mg/ml respectively. The DPPH radical scavenging assay for Lantadene A was weaker than BHT while iron chelating assay of Lantadene A is much stronger than the standard. The rest of the assays were comparable to the reference standards. These results suggest that Lantadene A can be a potential cadidate to be developed as an antioxidant. </text>

<text>Sediment concentration affected b streamflow at river body. This research was conducted to study correlation between streamflow and sediment concentration at upstream and downstream Padang watershed on July until December 2013. The research was conducted by using survey method at two outlet of Padang watershed were Padang sub watershed and Padang Hilir sub watershed. Sampling of water at two (2) outlets were conducted at stream surface by using depth intergrating suspended sediment sampler technique at three (3) points of river body. Sampling waters conducted at two times that were after rainand no rain. Sediment concentration (Cs) calculated by Cs = (G2 – G1) / V equation. Streamflow (Q) calculated by multiplying velocity and wide of river by Q = A x V equation. The results showed that no correlation between streamflow and sediment concentration at upstream when no rain (Cs = 0,0007 +0,0412 Q; R2 = 0,43) and at downstream when no rain (Cs = 0,0002 Q + 0,07157; R2 = 0,057). There were correlation between streamflow and sediment concentration at upstream after rain (Cs = 0,00041 Q +0,0611; R2 = 0,88) and at downstream after rain (Cs = 0,00015 Q + 0,03293; R2 = 0,9).</text>

<text>A study on the mosquitoes Aedes spp. has been conducted in Kuta Alam Sub-district, Banda Aceh, to find out the percentage and distribution of positive ovitrap with eggs of Aedes aegypti and A. albopictus, based on location of ovitrap, level of rainfall as well as different landuse of settlement areas. Sampling was conducted by setting up ovitrap monthly, from January to December 2010 in settlement area that have more trees versus less trees, both indoor and outdoor. Data of the ovitrap percentage that was proved to be positive with eggs of A. aegypti and A. albopictus was analized using Student T-Test. The study revealed that rainfall value did not significantly affect (P>0.05) the percentage of positive A. aegypti and A. albopictus ovitraps and neither did the location of ovitrap (indoor versus outdoor). The settlement areas with more trees have significantly higher percentage of ovitraps containing A. albopictus than areas with less trees, but not significant for A. aegypti (P<0.05). It was suggested that rainfall and location of ovitrap did not influence the number of ovitrap containing Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus eggs, while settlement landuse influenced significantly the percentage of positive ovitraps for Aedes albopictus, but not for Aedes. aegypti. Between two villages in Kuta Alam sub-district, it was found out that Gampong Beurawe was dominated by Aedes albopictus while Gampong Kuta Alam by Aedes aegypti. Overall, the sensitivity of ovitrap in Kuta Alam subdistrict was 83,7%. The usage of ovitrap is thus recommended for monitoring of Aedes spp. control programs</text>
