<text>Dysmenorrhea is a painful syndrome that accompanies the menstrual cycles that may disturb daily activities. Although many drugs are available to reduce dysmenorrheal pain, many women consider its side effects for taking regularly. Although exercise is generally thought to alleviate the dysmenorrhea, thescientific literature display mixed evidence. The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of aerobics on decreasing dysmenorrheal pain of women 20-25 years old.The research used quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design using 15 samples who are medical student of Syiah Kuala University. The data was analyzed using paired t-test to differentiate the score of pain before and after the aerobics exercise. The research was conducted from Januari to April 2012. The Average result dysmenorrheal pain scoresusing the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS); pretest (6.26) and posttest (3.26) (P= 0.00). It can be concluded that aerobics may reduce dysmenorrheal pain in women 20-25 years old</text>

<text>Cavitation in various nozzles of different geometries and dimensions, i.e., two-dimensional (2D) and cylindrical nozzles, and liquid jets discharged from the nozzles are visualized using a digital camera, and the index for estimating cavitation in a nozzle is discussed. Simultaneous high-speed visualization of cavitation in the cylindrical nozzle and a liquid jet are also carried out to investigate the relation between cavitation and ligament formation. As a result, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) Flow pattern transition in cavitating flows induces the transition in liquid jet patterns. As the liquid flow rate increases, flow patterns of cavitating flows and liquid jets transit from (no cavitation and wavy jet), (developing cavitation and wavy jet), (supercavitation and spray), to (hydraulic flip and flipping jet); (2) When the trace of a cavitation cloud comes out of the nozzle, a ligament is formed at the liquid jet interface. (3) The collapse of cavitation clouds near the exit and induces ligament formation, which, in turn, causes liquid jet atomization; (4) The causal relationship between cavitation cloud and ligament formation holds not only in the two-dimensional nozzle but also in the cylindrical nozzle</text>

The general impact that would occur if the construction is not accordance with the schedule and plan is that the delays in project realization which would increase the cost of implementation. One of the factors causing such delays is due to the reworking activities on one or more items of the construction process. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause rework on the building construction projects in the Department of Highways and Settlements in Aceh Province. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative to descriptive quantitative that explains the processed data based on the calculation of numbers. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire that asked to 55 respondents, consisting of 16 project owners, 23 contractors and 16 supervising consultants. This study was conducted to see the main factors of the rework on building construction projects. The results showed that a major cause of the rework in termof design and documentation was the unclear detail and the changed design; in term of managerial factors is lack of control of the project owner; and materials arrived late and the lack of working experience were major causes of rework in term of resource factors. It is recommended to the Highways Agency and Human Settlements in Aceh Province to tighten control over the project consultants and contractors to pay attention to the managerial problems and procurement of materials in accordance with schedule and work volume</text>

<text>To obtain higher reducing sugar production via solid state fermentation (SSF), it is necessary to develop a stabile bioprocess system. In this study, optimized the physical parameter of SSF in a shallow aluminium tray (30 cm x 20 cm x 6 cm) was carried out  in order to maximize  reducing sugar production by A. niger USM AI1 using oil palm frond as a substrate.  Production of reducing sugars before optimization in tray system was 185.00 ± 2.85 mg / g substrate with the fungal growth of 2.32 mg ± 0.06 glucosamine / g substrate. However, after optimization of physical parameter (amount of substrate, inoculum size, temperature and moisture content in substrate) the maximum reducing sugar yield was achieved 251.13 ± 1.95 mg / g substrate with the fungus growth of 3.21 ± 0.10 mg glucosamine / g on the 4 days of cultivation period.  The results showed that the production of reducing sugar was increased by 35.7% compared to before optimization.   Thus, optimized the physical parameter of solid state fermentation in a tray system has succeeded in increasing the production of reducing sugars. To meet the increasing demands of reducing sugar from biomass, it is necessary to obtain the optimum condition in SSF process</text>

<text>In this paper, two small cyclones with the same hydraulic diameter and volume, which one is square and the other one is round (Lapple cyclone), are numerically compared. A pre-processor software GAMBIT was employed to set up the configuration, discretisation, and boundary conditions of the cyclone. The characteristics of the cyclone being studied was 0.2 m in diameter, receiving a gas flow rate of 0.1 m3/s with a particle mass loading of 0.01 kg/s. A commercial CFD code FLUENT 6.2.16 was employed to simulate the flow field and particle dynamics in the cyclone. The Reynolds averaged Navier–Stokes equations with Reynolds Stress Turbulence Model (RSTM) are solved by use of the finite volume method based on the SIMPLE pressure correction algorithm in the computational domain. The Eulerian–Lagrangian computational procedure is used to predict particles tracking in the cyclones. The velocity fluctuations are simulated using the Discrete Random Walk (DRW).The results show that collection efficiency of square cyclone is the better with increasing flow rate than round cyclone. The pressure drop in square cyclone is higher than the pressure drop in small round one.</text>

<text>This study examined the performance of broiler marketing in Abia State of Nigeria. The specific objectives of the study were to examine the performance of broiler marketing in terms of the marketing cost and returns, marketing margin and marketing efficiency, as well as identify factors affecting the income of broiler marketers in the study area. Primary and secondary data were used for this stud. Forty- five respondents from each category; producer-marketers and sole markers were selected both purposively and randomly from the population across the major markets and production areas in Umuahia North and Umuahia South Local Government Areas of the state. The result of the study showed that the business was profitable though with high marketing margin .In terms of economic efficiency, the marketing was efficient. The significant variables influencing the income of the producer-marketers were marketing experience, purchase cost, feed cost, and other variables such as electricity, depreciation and rent. For the sole marketers, the significant variables influencing their income were marketing experience, ages, experience, feed cost and level of formal education. It is recommended that Government should put into consideration the significant variables in policy formulations and provide conducive environment for the private sector to invest in this business in order to address the meat demand of the citizenry.</text>

<text>Cancer is a major health problem in both developed and developing countries. In women, cancer incidence rates increased every year. Developments in treatment modalities and the ability to detect tumours in the early stages increased their survival rate but also raise fertility problems. Those problems are the fertility preservation for patient who have to endure gonadotoxic chemotherapy and or radiation even though they still need their fertility functions. Ovarian cryopreservation and autotransplantation were initially designed to protect and restore reproductive function in patients receiving sterilizing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. Other indications including patients undergoing haematopietic stem cell transplantation, autoimmune diseases and those undergoing oophorectomy for non-cancer conditions. Options in cryopreserved ovarian tissues include autotransplantation and xenotransplantation. An orthotopic site or a heterotopic site can be considered for autotransplantation. Xenotransplantation of human ovarian tissue into immunodeficient animals can prevent immunological rejection.  The theoretical advantage of orthotopic grafts is the restoration of normal reproductive function and natural conception after transplantation but application for cancer patients is problematic because of the potential risk of transmission of microscopic metastatic disease. With Xenotransplantantion, the possibility of cancer transmission and relapse can be eliminated because cancer cells cannot penetrate the zona pellucida, and some technical difficulties of in vitro growth and maturation of primordial follicles can be bypassed. But it is still unknown whether conditions for the growth and maturation of human oocytes in an animal host are comparable to those in situ and whether animal pathogens can be transmitted to human tissue with it. Ovarian tissue cryopreservation is the fertility preservation option for prepubertal girls and for women who face thehigh likelihood of diminished ovarian reserve requiring immediate treatment. Its procedure are still within improvement and also in the study of understanding its mechanism. In the future, studies and large clinical trials are still needed to develop better cryoprotectants and cryopreservation protocols and also standardization - optimization transplantation techniques</text>

<text>Squid is an economically important resource. Currently, squid populations, especially in the District Barru, were intensive exploited, that is feared to affect the population biology parameters. The study was conducted fromFebruary to April 2011. The sampling period was three times a week. The Samples were obtained using random collection from the fishermen catch using Rambo left net. Squid mantle length was measured to the nearest one mm.The parameters analyzed were age group, gonad maturity stage, growth, mortality, and exploitation rate. Squid population in Barru district consists of three age groups with the length of each mode of 51 mm, 98 mm, 133 mm formales, and 51 mm, 96 mm, 127 mm for females. The gonad maturity stage ranging from TKG I to IV for males and females, with the largest percentage of TKG TKG III (47.82% in males and 50.06% in females). The squid firstmaturity is reached at 94.3827 mm in long coat for males, and 59.6735 mm for females. Growth equation for males was Lt = 227 {1 - e -0.31 (t + 0.30)} and females are Lt = 196 {1-e-0, 37 (t +0.26)}. The total mortality rate (Z) is1.59 for males and 1.63 for females. The natural mortality rate (M) is 0.20 for males and 0.57 for females. The capture mortality rate (F) is 1.39 for males and 1.06 for females. The highest CPUE values reached in 1999 was 0.0022 ton per trip, while the smallest CPUE values reached in 2001 was 0.0001 tons per year. The greatest catches could be reached with fishing effort of 50 000 trips with catches of 50 tonnes.</text>

<text>This experiment was aimed to evaluate yield potential and adaptability of some varieties of rice based on some morphological and physiological characters. This study was conducted at Paluh Merbau village, Percut Sei Tuan Sub-District, Deli Serdang District, North Sumatera, Indonesia on March 2012 till July 2012. This research was arranged in a randomized block design non factorial with three replications. Eight varieties used are Ciherang, IR 64, Lambur, Batanghari, Banyuasin, IR 42, Inpara 10 and Margasari. Salinity stress in rice leads to changes in both morphological and physiological characters of plants, where the response of each genotype varies depending on the nature of tolerance or sensitivity to salt stress. Observation of growth and production showed that genotif IR 42 had the best growth and the highest production as compared with other varieties</text>

<text>The aim of this study was to identify the most common bacterial cause of urinary tract infections and the patterns of antimicrobial resistance. The study was conducted at Dr. Zainoel Abidin Teaching Hospital, Banda Aceh, Indonesia with descriptive retrospective study approach.  The data was taken from medical records. One hundred and nineteen bacterials was identified, encountered gram-negative bacteria namely Escherichia coli (31.7%), Klebsiella pneumoniae (27.7%), Acinetobacter (12.6%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (10.1%), Enterobacter (5.1%) and Proteus mirabilis (0.8%). Meanwhile encountered gram-positive bacteria were Beta-hemolytic Streptococci (9.2%) and Staphylococcus aureus (3.4%). Observations on the sensitivity profile suggested that the pathogenic gram-negative bacteria had a high resistance against ampicilin, ciprofloxacin, cefuroxime and cefotaxime, while meropenem, chloramphenicol, gentamicin and tobramycin have a high sensitivity level. Descriptive analysis also found pathogenic gram-positive bacteria showed high resistance to ceftriaxone, clindamycin, tetracycline and cephalotin and had a high sensitivity level to meropenem, vancomycin and oxacillin. Based on these results we concluded that the most common of urinary tract infections were caused by gram-negative bacteria species Escherichia coli. Encounters a high resistance pattern to 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotics group, this was caused by the irrational use of antibiotics and the ability of bacteria to produce beta-lactamase enzymes which results in degradation of beta-lactam ring (β-lactam). We recommended the antibiotics group of chloramphenicol, gentamicin and vancomycin to use as empirical therapy in urinary tract infections. Antibiotic treatment should be prescribed only for as long as necessary to be effective. Recurrent urinary tract infections may be managed better by self initiated therapy or prophylaxis than by continuing to treat each case emergently. We also recommend health practitioners to use antibiotics rationally to prevent the resistances.</text>
