<text>Investigation of calcium-phosphate and digestibility in Red tilapia was investigated. All diets were formulated at 0.5% calcium-phosphate in Diet1, 1.0% in Diet2 and 1.5% in Diet3, and was formulated to be isonitrogenous of 30% crude protein and energy: protein ration 30:2. The apparent digestibility coefficient of levels of calcium-phosphate were significant differences (P<0.05) in faeces in upper and lower intestine. However digestibility of calcium and phosphorus in faeces in upper and lower intestine was higher in Diet2 with a value of 73.48 ± 0.33% and 70.54 ± 0.33%, 39.24 ± 0.02% and 43.73 ± 0.50%. Deposition of calcium and phosphorus was higher in Diet2 with a value of 9.03 ± 0.12% and 10.68 ± 0.24% in whole body, 10.17 ± 0.05% and 13.32 ± 0.41% in muscle, 13.06 ± 0.13% and 12.05 ± 0.01% in bone, 11.06 ± 0.47% and 10.01 ± 0.01% in scale and 6.01 ± 0.58% and 4.10 ± 0.58% in gill. The absorption gain of calcium and phosphorus were also higher in Diet2 with a value of 3.07 and 1.39% in whole body, 1.96 and 2.11% in muscle, 1.25 and 1.48% in bone, 0.97 and 0.89% in scale and 0.16 and 1.85% in gill. The overall digestibility was found to be higher in Diet2 with containing of 1.0% calcium phosphate and 30% crude protein compared to other diets.</text>

<text>One of the new strategies to control rice pests that are at the same time more environmentally friendly is integrated pest management (IPM). IPM employs such methods as biological and mechanical controls, and botanicalpesticides. National and international resources have been used to developed IPM programs in some countries. Indonesia and Taiwan have used such programs to control rice pests. Biological control, botanical pesticides andsome mechanical control have been conducted in IPM program in both countries. However, assessing and comparing the effects of IPM programs are difficult because of the heterogeneity of the data due to differences in regions (e.g., climate, rainfall, soil structure), time periods, pest classes (e.g., insects, plant pathogens, weeds), and types of crops researched. In Indonesia using the recommended pesticides still be the last option for controlling the pests that reach an economic threshold. In 2011, recommended pesticides are applied about 981,628 ha of all rice crops. Other controls are the second pests control choosen in Indonesia. Other controls are consists of biological control (usingparasitoids and predators), microbial control (fungi, virus and bacteria) and natural plant extraction. Other controls reach about 464,854 ha of total rice crops in Indonesia. Mechanical controls are less applied than recommendedpesticides and other controls. Mechanical controls are including all controls before rice planting, such as harrowing land, killing rats, applying organic fertilizer, planting good varieties and cropping pattern. Mechanical controls reach about 84,920 ha of total rice crops in Indonesia. Taiwan also have similar development of rice IPM like Indonesia. In different counties, the farmers applied different IPM techniques. More farmers are independent to set up their rice pest control. Now, Taiwan have a significant progress in organic rice</text>

<text>This study primarily aimed to compare the incidence of asthma between breastfed and bottle-fed children. And to determine if the demographic characteristics such as age, sex, ordinal position in the family and familial history of asthma affect the incidence of asthma as well. This study used Comparative-Survey Design through self-structured questionnaire given to the parents of the respondents who were the 3-7 year-old asthmatic children, selected through purposive sampling technique. The data gathered were thentabulated and analyzed using Chi-Square Method of Association. It was found out that most of the asthmatic respondents were between 5-7 years old which showed a high association between the age and the incidence of asthma. It implies that as the age increases, the incidence of asthma also increases. Results also showed that males are more likely to have high incidence of asthma than females. The incidence of asthma is likewise higher in eldest respondents than the middle or youngest. Moreover, there is a significant relationship between the familial history of asthma and its incidence. And finally, the feeding status of the respondents whether breastfed or bottle-fed during the first 6 months of life affects the incidence of asthma as the incidence is higher in bottle-fed than in breastfed respondents</text>

<text>Incidence of primary intracranial tumour in pregnancy is very rare. This rare association is becoming more common because women in developed societies defer childbearing to the third or fourth decade of life. We presented A case of a 33- year-old, gravida 2 para 1, Indonesian Acehnese women presented with pregnancy and recurrent Glioblastoma. Her chief complaint was headache that is worsening since 1 month ago. She is a patient of Neurosurgery Department since 7 months earlier with complaints of major headache, vomitting, seizure and weakness of the left part of her body when she was 12 weeks pregnant. Patients was diagnosed with brain tumor on right temporoparietal region. Her CT scan result are midline shift to the left of falx cerebri with obliterated right ventricle and hypodens mass on right region size 5,04x 5,17 cm x 5,79 cm. Craniotomy was performed with no regards of the pregnancy but the patient refuse to terminate the pregnancy. Post craniotomy patient was supposed to undergo series of radiotherapy but decided not to since it may complicate her pregnancy. After 5 month went untreated, patient then had another CT scan due to her recurring complaint and the result was there’s an area of hypo and hyperdens in fronto parietal dextra and sinistra with brain edema. The patient was treated for a week when her condition was worsening with loss of consciousness. We then perfomed joint operation with Neurosurgery dept consist of Cesarean section that was continued with craniotomy where we delivered a heathy 1900 gram baby boy. The patient was then treated for 2 days in the intensive care unit and another 4 days in the ward then discharged home in good condition. Every brain tumours in pregnancy bring dilemmas with no standard treatment in medicine. Its diagnosis is challenging because of the need to treat the mother and minimizing the effects of cancer treatment on the fetus. The treatment intention is to minimise mortality and morbidity for both maternal and fetal which can be achieved by prolonging pregnancy while alleviating complications from the brain tumour. The management have to be individualised from a multi-disciplinary team and the consideration of a multitude of factors, including nature and location of the tumour, associated signs and symptoms, fetal gestation and the patient’s wishes.</text>

<text>Mathematical models are now a popular tool in many applications such as physics, economics and engineering; and provide useful information for decision making and planning. Water pollution in Malaysia has reached a level that needs attention and intervention from environmental department and government. In order to make a strong case, this paper has done a study on measuring the pollution level of Sungai Pinang which is located in Penang Island, Malaysia. Advection-Dispersion equation is one of the mathematical models that often use in evaluating the level of water pollution in the river. This paper applies this model and compares the result of this study with the studies done in the previous research worldwide to evaluate the severity of the pollution. The authors hope that this paper will create awareness to relevant department and also to community in general</text>

<text>. Malaria is a life-threatening disease due to the development of resistance by the most lethal causative parasitic species mainly Plasmodium falciparum. One of a great challenges in malaria controlling program is P.falciparum that has been resistant to the most commonly available antimalarials. New drugs with specific structures and mode of actions are urgently required to treat sensitive and drug-resistant strains of malaria parasites. This study was designed to know the antimalarial activity of the extract of the neem leaves (Azadirachta indica A.Juss) on the growth stages of P. falciparumFCR-3. The experimental laboratoric study used “post-test only with control design”. RPMI 1640 used as culture medium for cultivation of P. falciparum. Treated drug was the extract of neem leaves dissolved in dimethylsulfooxide and prepared into 7 levels concentration (3,125; 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50; 100 and 200 ug/mL). Negative control was culture medium with the malarial parasites. After cultured, synchronized, micromalarialculture were divided into control and treated groups then incubated in CO2 Candle Jar at 370 C for 72 hour. Each 8 hour the percentage of parasitemia were measured for observing the activity of the extract on the growth stages of P. falciparum. After incubation, supernatant fluid was removed without disturbing the erythrocyte layer. Parasitemia was calculated by made the thin blood smear from the erythrocyte layer and stained with 10% Giemsa for 30 minutes. The antimalarial activity of the extract was calculated by counted the fifty percent of growth inhibition 50 (IC50) using probit analysis. The result showed that the neem leaves extract can inhibit the growth of P. falciparum FCR-3 on mature schizont stage and the fifty percent inhibitory concentration (IC50) of the extract was 3,86 µg/ml after 32 hour incubating. The result indicated that the extract has an antimalarial activity on P. falciparumFCR-3 in vitro</text>

Efforts to increase the productivity of rice conducted with intensification, by intensifying the use of seedling number per hill and seedling age while transplanting. The research were conducted to determine the effects of seedling number per hill and seedling age on plant growth, and grain yield Ciherang rice. The research was done at UPT. Balai Benih Induk (BBI) Perdamean village Tanjung Morawa from March 2012 to June 2012. Reducing seedling number per hill from 5 to 3 and 1 respectively, increased plant growth and grain yield significantly. Increasing seedling age from 7 to 14 and 21 days resulted in significant increasing plant growth and grain yield. In general, transplanting 7-21 day-old seedlings at one seedling per hill increased plant growth and grain yield Ciherang rice</text>

<text>A-case report about the process and impact of the vaginal birth after section caesarean in rural on a pregnant woman who has previous cesarean. This is the case of Mrs H, 30 years old in aterm gestational age with singleton intra partum fetal death, previous cesarean section, with suspected uterine rupture. She wasadmitted to RSUZA hospital due to unprogress labour, sent from midwife after failed of labour. In the hospital the catether was inserted and we found hematuria. She had been control for pregnancy in the hospital ofmother and baby for two times and the last 2 weeks was said the baby still in good condition. She was had the previous cesarean 5 years ago on second pregnancy due to unprogress labour and the incision was transversal, and also had the extraction vaccum history for delivered the first pregnancy. She already get information to delivered this third baby in the hospital, but she was coming to midwife due to contraction, and the orificium uretra extrenum was opened 8 cm, so the midwife try to delivered the baby for 1 hour, and because failed, the midwife sent to the hospital. After 3 hours, she was administered to the hospital the opened of orificium uteri was 10 cm and we found hematuria. During the way she was transferring to hospital she feels the movement of the baby was lost. When she administered in hospital the blood pressure was 100/70 mmHg, with the heart rate 100 times/ minute. She was complaints pain in the previous cesarean scar 3 hours later, and lost of fetalmovement since 1 hours ago. On ultrasound examination there was intrapartum fetal death. We decided to do laparotomy exploration due to suspected uterine rupture. On the operation we found 200 cc blood clot inside the layer of peritoneum, and after the peritoneum was cleaned and opened we could see the upper of the fetal head out side the uterus which intrapartum fetal death, with the large uterine rupture along the previous cesarean incision about 12 cm length. We also found the ballon of folley catheter outside the bladder, so weconfirm to urology and also found there was a bladder rupture grade IV with 14 cm lengths on the posterior bladder. After delivered the baby, The uronologist did repair bladder rupture and the bladder was inserted the spolling folley catheter with NaCl 0.9% from the upper bladder for maintenance the drainage of the bladder so it keep clean during in the ward and the folley cateter also inserted from the uretra. The procedure was continued with the obstetrician to do repairation of the uterine rupture. In the ward she was hospitalized for 14 days to maintain the bladder. From this case, we would like to assess the patophysiology of uterine rupture and bladder rupture which cause the mortality and morbidity of mother and baby. The uterine rupture has correlation withlate and false of management of delivery which result in intra partum fetal death and bladder rupture that was explained in this paper.</text>

<text>As a result of the recent unwise use of water pumped from underground resources, several East Coast (EC) farms (70%) became appended by farmers in the UAE mountain areas. The EC of the UAE is one of these areas where farmers can’t utilize their farmland because of the increased salinity in irrigation water. This problem increased at the end of the last century as a result of the increased population and the expanding area of EC cities which put more pressure on the existing underground water resources. This paper highlights the main reasons behind this problem and examines both the government and the EC farmers' efforts to reduce the impact of water shortage on EC farming activities. Farmer’s points of views were collected through direct personal contacts to evaluate the nature and the volume of this problem. Future alternatives are suggested to help in reducing the effect of water shortages on the farming activities in the EC of the UAE.</text>

<text>The aim of this research is to study in-situ transesterification technique of jatropha seeds for biodiesel production. This research was conducted using a randomized factorial block design consisting of two factors that is moisture content of jatropha seeds (2% and 3%) and amount of hexane that used as a co-solvent (0 ml, 75 ml, 95 ml, 115 ml and 135 ml). The experimental result shows that the highest yieldbiodiesel of 78.72 % obtained at process condition of jatropha seeds moisture content of 2% and amount of hexane of 115 mL. The physico-chemical analysis of biodiesel procured the acid number of 0.35 mg KOH/g, density of 0.89 g/mL and viscosity of 3.04 mm2/ s that meet requirement of Indonesian Nasional StandardNo. 04-7182-2006.</text>
