<text>Thermocline is often observed in the open ocean and can be as a seasonal phenomenon in the shallower part of the ocean or as a permanent one that is usually seen in the deeper part of the open ocean. There are different forcing and climatic parameters that affect the thermocline development in the PG fromwinter to summer. These include tide, river inflow, solar radiation, evaporation, northwesterly wind and water exchange with the Oman Sea. Thermocline development that evolves from east to west is studied using numerical simulation and comparing the results with some existing observations. Results show that as the northwesterly wind in winter, at summer transition period, weakens the fresher inflow from Oman Sea can penetrate much further into the PG and the lake of wind lowers mixing which with stronger solar radiation lead to the near surface thermocline formation and its development from winter to summer even over the northwestern part of the PG. The analysis results show that for the more realistic monthly averaged wind experiments the thermocline develops as is indicated by summer observations. The results indicate that weaker winds and particularly stronger solar radiation in summer months can lead to an intense thermocline in the whole of the PG including in the northern part and vice versa for winter</text>

<text>The inclusion of metals/alloys inside the pores of zeolite is of a great interest for developing composites with functional materials distributed in the intended fields. Zirconium-containing NaY5.7 zeolite samples with 1 wt% and 3 wt% metal loading were prepared using impregnation method. The starting material was commercial available NaY5.7 zeolite and zirconocene dichloride ((C5H5)2ZrCl2)as zirconium source and benzene as solvent. The characterization of samples was performed by X-ray diffraction (Rigaku RINT2000) using a Cu Kα radiation, nitrogen adsorption isotherms, hydrogen sorption isotherms and heats of sorption by a twin-conduction-type calorimeter (Tokyo Riko Co., Japan) equipped with a volumetric adsorption system at 298 K. The X-ray diffraction pattern reveals that the framework structure of zeolite is retained in the calcination condition performed and the metallic form of zirconium exists on zeolite particles. The nitrogen adsorption isotherm for the zirconium-containing NaY5.7 zeolite was similar to that for the untreated zeolite which indicates that Zr-NaY sample retains its structure even after the heat treatment at higher temperature. The hydrogen sorption on Zr-NaY5.7 zeolite was brought about by a combination of formation of solid solution inside zeolite pores and hydridation of zirconium species. The inclusion of zirconium inside the framework of NaY5.7 zeolite has increased the amount of occluded hydrogen on all synthesized samples. NaY5.7 zeolite itself could occlude hydrogen approximately 0.097 mmol H2/gr at low hydrogen pressure of 80 kPa. Zirconium-NaY5.7 zeolite system, which resided zirconium nanoparticles inside the pores of zeolite, could be one of alternative composites to be used for hydrogen sorbing materials providing water resistance.</text>

<text>During emergency situation, such as a large-scale tsunami or other disastrousevents, people evacuation may lead to more fatalities when it is conducted without a proper escape strategy. The ability to evacuate a huge number of people within a very limited amount of time is certainly required. Evacuation drills are therefore necessary to acquire an optimal escape strategy. Unfortunately, we have to deal with both financial and practicalchallenges for conducting a regular and meaningful drill. To overcome these challenges, one solution would be to develop the evacuation simulation model. Despite its limitation to mimic the real-life situations, simulation may provide practical ways of minimizing the negative consequences as well as useful insights to escape strategy. In this paper, we describe a conceptual model of multiagent based tsunami evacuation simulation (TES). The model formulation and description would follow the ODD (Overview, Design concepts, andDetails) protocol, which is a standard protocol widely used by agent-based modellers. The proposed model may serve as a framework for TES that offers the following features: estimate the clearing time or the time needed by people to leave the tsunami inundation area, and identify the potential bottleneck or congestion locations. Using the proposed conceptual model, we consider constructing the TES for Calang district, a coastal area in Aceh Jaya regency, for future work</text>

<text>The aim of this research was to study the microbial quality of milk powder based on the serving factors during milk powder serving process. The method used in this research was Total Plate Count (TPC). Nine sachets (400 g/sachet) of milk powder was used as many as This experiments used Split Plot Design, comprised three factors, storage factor (P1, P2 and P3), time of serving factor (morning and evening), and shelf life factor (day of 1st-7th). Each treatment consisted of three sachets of milk powder. Storage factors comprised P1 (sachets packaging contained of milk powder were placed into the glass bottle container), P2 (sachets packaging contained of milk powder were placed into glass botlle with spoon inside, and P3 (sachets packaging contained of milk powder with spoon inside were not placed into the glass bottle container). The results of this research showed that storage factors and time of serving did not sifnificantly (P>0,05) affect on the microbial count of milk powder, but shelf life factor significanly (P<0,01) affected on microbial count of milk powder at day of 1th and 7th. Milk powder in sachet packs (400 grams) has been opened, with or without spoon in the sachet and more than five days of shelf life can increase the total number of microbes, which was exceed TPC decision at 5x104 CFU/grams of milk powder.</text>

This study was designed to determine the potential of tempeh extract in improving the quality bone in premenopausal conditions, and to compare the natural product of tempeh extract with commerciallyavailable hormones (genistein, ethinylestradiol, and somatotropin). Experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisted of 7 experimental groups, each consisted of 3 rats i.e.,1) K= premenopausal rats as a negative control, 2) P = premenopausal rats given distilled water orally as a placebo, 3) TEM = premenopausal rats given tempeh extract 300 mg/day/200g body weight, 4) GEN =premenopausal rats given genistein 0.25 mg/day/kg body weight, 5) EST = premenopausal rats givenethinylestradiol 9x10-3 mg/day/200g body weight, 6) SO = premenopausal rats injected with sesame oil/day/kg body weight, 7) BST = premenopausal rats injected somatotropin 9 mg/day/kg body weight. The parameters observed were the bone and serum calcium and phosphorus concentrations, bone ashconcentrations, bone collagen concentrations, bone water concentrations, bone RNA concentrations, bone length, bone weight, bone density, and bone strength. Supplementations of tempeh extract for two months in premenopausal rats could improve the quality of bone, which was characterized by the increased bone calcium concentrations, ratio of Ca/P on tibia bone, bone ash levels, bone density, and bone strength</text>

<text>Three-phase induction motors play a pivotal role in industry and there is a strong demand for their reliable and safe operation. They are generally reliable but eventually do wear out. Faults and failures of induction motor can lead to excessive downtimes and generate large losses in terms of maintenance and lost revenues, and this motivates the examination of on-line condition early detecting. On-line condition early detecting involves taking measurements on a motor while it is operating in order to detect faults with the aim of reducing both unexpected failures and maintenance costs. Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) method is a way to detection of condition monitoring technique used to early detection problems in rotor bar fault of three- phase induction motors. In this paper presented the experimental results of frequency spectrum Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) stator current on-line censorship a three-phase induction motor using LabVIEW algorithm for detecting of rotor conductors faults. The stator current FFT analyzed using Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) method.</text>

The molecular weight (MW) of polyol was obtained by using gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and the result was about 950. The micro domain structures of the segmented PU were analysed by FTIR by following the work of Seymour et al. to estimate the degree of phase separation in segmented PU. The formation of hydrogen bonding by –C=O group can be determined by examining the peak position at 1709 cm-1 for hydrogen bonded –C=O and at 1731 cm-1 for free –C=O. The molecular weight (MW) of PU based on palm oil was about 3.266. The performance characteristics of materials indicate to be comparable with the corresponding industrial standard</text>

<text>Two and half dimensions fault modelling was conducted based on Local Magnetic Anomaly Data in Mount Rajabasa site, Lampung. The research utilized total magnetic anomaly secondary data to perform quantitative interpretation. The total magnetic anomaly data was then transformed into flat field, reduced to a pole and carried upward continuation until at an altitude of 4000 MSL to separate local anomaly and regional anomaly. Based on the qualitative interpretation of the anomalous magnetic field, it indicates a normal fault with the direction of northeast – southwest and northwest – southeast. In the research, quantitative interpretation was done to local anomaly by selecting two locations that showed the presence of lineament patterns in the contour. Modelling was conducted by using Mag2DC software. By modelling those two sites, was obtained that fault model that is located in Mount Rajabasa area is a normal fault trending northwest – southeast with the value of magnetic susceptibility contrast of 0.004 and -0.015 in cgs units</text>

The experiment was carried out in a batch stirred reactor at room temperature. The effects of certain parameters, such as concentration of bio-sorbent and contact time, were investigated. The removal increased with contact time and concentration of bio-sorbent. The results showed that the contact time is directly proportional to the sorption capacity and the sorption efficiency. The sorption efficiency of Cr (VI) was highest at 5 grams bio-sorbent, while the sorption capacity of Cr (VI) was highest in bio-sorbent 1 gram under current experimental condition. The optimum removal of Cr (VI) using guava leaves occurred while stirring 30 minutes.</text>
