<text>. The study of Lepidoptera that took place around the factory of Lafarge Cement Indonesia (LCI) was aimed to determine the structure of dominance of Lepidoptera and morphological structure as basic determination of taxonomy chategory of LCI plant Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar. The study was conducted from April to June 2012. The area of the study was divided into four locations; Gunung Bale Area (location I), Gunung Badak Area (Location II), LCI factory (Location III) and Gunung Oshing (location IV). The methods were survey and capture. The structure of the dominance was analysed by dominance formula and the species was analysed descriptivelly. The findings showed that there were 13 species and 1 species with dominance index (ID) were 0.0-0.25 and 0.26-0.50 respectivelly, and none of them with ID ˃ 0.50. The species can be potentially used as the learning media of the course were 13 species, including the morphology and anatomy of each species. The parts of the body of Lepidoptera comprising of podos, chephal, torax, abdomen, and ptera are the basic determination of the taxonomy. In brief, it was found that Lepidoptera with categories were sub-dominant and not dominant. Determination of the taxonomy relied on the various structure of morphology of each members of Lepidoptera according to examinated level of taxonomy.</text>

<text>Malaria, an infectious disease causes by Plasmodium, contribute to 300-900 million morbidities and 1-3 million mortalities, annually. This study aimed to determine the Rubella vaccine potency to inhibit Plasmodium berghei merozoite invasion to erythrocyte which evaluated from parasitemia levels, mortality and mice clinical condition. This study conducted in mice injected Rubella vaccine prior injected with P. berghei. There were four groups: A, B and C injected with 500 µl, 2 µl, and 1 µl rubella vaccine respectively. Group D injected with 500 µl sterile aqua, as control group. After 28 days of vaccination all mice injected with 0.2 ml P. berghei. Furthermore, we observed to parasitemia levels, death, and clinical condition of mice to assess Rubella vaccine effectiveness to inhibit merozoite invasion. The results shown Rubella vaccine did not provide significant effect on parasitemia levels. It might Rubella vaccine dose we used under effective dose and less effective of target site. However, our study shown Rubella vaccine provided significant effect on mice mortality (p<0.05). It is probably due to Rubella antigen (213-239 amino acid sequence) and malaria antigen merozoite surface protein (MSP)-119 (sequence amino acid 238) has similar structure, thus it was likely generated cross-immunity. In conclusion, 28 days Rubella vaccination did not provide significant effect on parasitemia levels, however it provided significant effect on mice mortality with infected by P. berghei.</text>

<text>Reciprocity law states that the relationship between exposure and optical density (OD) should remain constant regardless of the exposure rate. In this experiment two different detectors were used to prove the reciprocity law using an exposure meter detector and a screen-film system. Four different valuesof kVps were used in this experiment which were 40 kVp, 50 kVp, 60 kVp, and 70 kVp. Different values of mAs were used from 1 mAs up to 50 mAs. Other factors used in this experiment were maintained constant such as the distance from focal spot to detector 100 cm and collimator opening 15 cm x 10 cm to make sure all contributions from the surroundings were approximately the same. In this experiment, acceptability range of the reciprocity law used for the screen-film OD was ±5% and acceptability range of the absorbed dose using the exposure meter was ±10%. From the result, it shows that at low kilovoltage which was 40 kV the OD and absorbed dose values disobeyed the reciprocity law, but at high kilovoltage, the OD and linearity value obeyed the reciprocity law.</text>

<text>Human interest in soybean greatly increased in recent years due to the positive effects of secondary metabolites in soybean such as isoflavones for human health. Isoflavones are phytoestrogens worked as the antioxidant and chemopreventive agents for estrogenic compounds that can inhibit cellproliferation. Isoflavones also serves to prevent heart damage, osteoporosis and menopause syndrome, prevent prostate cancer, colon cancer and breast cancer. Daidzein, genistein and glycitein are the major isoflavones in soybean. A research about isoflavone charácters of three soybean varieties under droughtstress with application of Nitrogen sources was conducted in green house, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara. The aim of the research was to study the effect of Nitrogen sources under drought stress on isoflavone characters of three soybean varieties. The experiment used a Factorial andomized Block Design with three factors and three replications. The first factor was soybean varieties consisted of Anjasmoro, Wilis and Sinabung. The second factor was Nitrogen sources consisted of without N fertilizer application; Urea 50 kg/ha, Bradyrhizobium sp., cow manure 10 t/ha, rice straw compost 10 t/ha. The third factor was soil water content condition namely 50%, 60%, 70 and 80% of field capacity. The parameters observed were isoflavone charcters consisted of genistein, daidzein, glycitein and isoflavone total. The resultshowed that Anjasmoro variety had the genistein, daidzein, glycitein and isoflavone total contents of soybean higher than Wilis and Sinabung. The application of Nitrogen sources increased the genistein, daidzein, glycitein and isoflavone total contents of soybean compared without application of Nitrogensources. There is a distinct pattern in the increase in the isoflavone total content in Anjasmoro, Wilis and Sinabung with increasing the drought stress. At Anjasmoro variety, increasing drought stress caused the elower of isoflavone total content, while the varieties Sinabung and Wilis are the opposite pattern</text>

<text>Diversity and Distribution of Seagrass in Karang Tirta Beach Padang City, West Sumatera was conducted from April to June 2011. This study was intended to analyze the diversity, distribution pattern, coverage, composition and structure community of seagrass in Karang Tirta beach. Measurement of distribution aspect was analyzed with line transect method and sample of seagrass collected by using squares plot 0.5 x 0.5 m. Approximately 12 ha total of seagrass was estimated in various areas, such as: intertidal zone of tourism area, people settlement and mangrove zone. Seagrass distribution pattern was grouping category, and it was found 2 of 13 Species from Family Hidrocharitaceae of Indonesian seagrass exist, they were Thalassia hemprichii about 1.59 and Enhalus acoroides about 9.95. They were included into poor seagrass category with coverage ranged between 21.11% for T. hemprichii and 5.66% for E. acoroides. The highest species density was T. hemprichii (309.2 ind/m2) with appearance frequency value 100% and important value 252. The lowest species density was E. acoroides (7.73 ind/m2) with appearance frequency value 33.33% and important value 48. </text>

Soil is the usual media to transmitted helminth to human (soil transmitted helminthiasis). One of the rule worker that has hard contact to helminth is the brick maker. This activity usual doing with convensional technique. The objective of this devotion are to knowing helminthiasis prevalence on brick maker in Lambada Peukan Village. The primer data is the count of helminthiasis that get from feces examination in laboratory. This result overgo to promotive, preventive and curative activity. The helminthiasis prevalence in Lambada Peukan is 37,5%. To resolve this problem we doing the preventive and curative activity with giving albendazole preparat and Ferrum. Beside that we also make education activity to the workers. The aim of this activity is to increase need and ability of the worker to maintance from helminthiasis. Quality of patchouli oil is determined by its natural characteristics and foreign materials contain in the patchouli oil. The foreign materials contain in the patchouli oil can be damage the quality of patchouli oil. Aceh Province is the largest contribute in producing patchouli oil in Indonesia. Patchouli oil processing areas in the Aceh region, precisely in the North Aceh and South Aceh district. In generally farmer of patchouli in Aceh is traditional farmer and many of them not yet follow the best refine system. They do it base of previously experience. Refinery equipment that used from former drum that can be reaction with patchouli oil, with the result can to change chemistry structure of patchouli oil, so that the oil produced is dirty and has dark colour and does not meet the specified quality requirements). The main purpose of this research is to increase yield and the quality of patchouli oil by using of refinery equipment modification process to meet quality standards. In this research the former drum is replaced by stainless steel drum. Method of test quality and procedure of test quality same as standard method of SNI-06-2385-2006. The results showed that the using of refinery equipment (stainless steel drum) able to increase the yield and oil quality, especially in terms of colour, physicochemical properties and concentration of its main components and also meet the quality requirements of national standards</text>

<text>The objectives of this study were to determine the current bird species present in the study areas and to analyze variation of feeding guilds in different habitat types. Point count and mist-netting methods were used for bird census in SF and OP, while only point count method was used in PF. Feeding guilds were determined for each species recorded. A total of 183 species representing 49 families were recorded at all study sites. Secondary forest scored 106 species, followed by PF with 70 species and OP with 58 species. The highest abundance of bird families observed in SF was Pycnonotidae (26.65%), Hemiprocnidae (19.77%) and Muscicapidae (7.10%); in OP, Pycnonotidae (21.59%), Muscicapidae (19.12%) and Sturnidae (17.95%); in PF, Ardeidae (29.09%), Sturnidae (10.15%) and Hirundinidae (7.86%). Alternative hypothesis established that the abundance of species is different across habitat types, F(2,105) = 99.83, p < 0.05. Eight feeding guilds were identified in paddy field and seven in both secondary forest and oil palm plantation. If forests were converted to OP feeding guild could possibly change with a decreased in insectivore, insectivore-frugivore, insectivore-nectarivore and frugivore species; and increased in carnivore, grainivore and omnivore species. If forests were converted to PF feeding guild could possibly change with a decreased in insectivore, insectivore-frugivore and frugivore species; and increased in carnivore, insectivorenectarivore, insectivore-grainivore, grainivore and omnivore species. Comparison between SF and OP with Mann-Whitney U-test showed significant differences in six feeding guilds, including insectivore, insectivore-frugivore, insectivore-nectarivore, frugivore, grainivore and omnivore. Comparison between SF and PF showed significant differences in five feeding guilds, comprising of carnivore, insectivore-grainivore, frugivore, grainivore and omnivore. Comparison between OP and PF showed all feeding guilds to be significantly different. Complex vegetation in forestoffers more niches, with higher plant and insect diversity to support more bird species. In contrast, PF, a temporary wetland, support predominantly various waterbirds and migratory species.</text>

<text>Maternal anemia is a common problem in pregnancy which causes maternal and fetal oxygen transport disrupted. The disorder may lead to hypoxia of the fetus inside the womb resulting in neonatal asphyxia which is the main cause of neonatal mortality on a term pregnancy. The study aimed to investigatethe relationship between maternal anemia in a term pregnancy with occurrence of neonatal asphyxia Banda Aceh. This is an analytic study using cross sectional design. The study population was all a term pregnant women who gave birth in Zainoel Abidin Hospital and Mother & Child Hospital, Banda Aceh. Data werecollected from medical records of mothers and babies delivered from January to February 2012. Samples were taken by purposive sampling with 91 samples. Maternal (gravidarum) anemia is defined as the condition in which level of Haemoglobin (Hb) < 11gr/dl and neonatal asphyxia defined as Apgar score < 7 at the first or the fifth minutes. The data analyzed using chi square test (==0.05). The results showed that mother who had anemia and having baby with neonatal asphyxia was 10 (20.8%). It also showed that mothers who suffered from maternal anemia are 4.47 times more likely to have baby with neonatal asphyxia (p value= 0,023). In conclusion, pregnant women with anemia have a higher risk to deliver baby with neonatal asphyxia than those of not anemia.</text>

<text>This paper the genetic algorithm method is used in Power System Stabilizer (PSS) for power system stability is discussed. Parameters of PSS on generator system in a state determined offline using genetic algorithms and the objective function is based on eigen value system was described in detail. PSS parameters and the location is calculated to maximize damping performance in different operating conditions. Genetic algorithm is a kind of random search algorithm based on the mechanism of natural selection and natural genetics. Genetic algorithms are used as search parameters of the PSS technique, which utilizes genetic operators to find the nearest optimal solution. An advantage of the search with the GA is not trapped in an early convergence </text>
