One way to improve the teaching quality is by applying various innovative strategies. One of the innovative teaching strategies is contextual learning. Contextual teaching strategy is a teaching strategy which emphasize on students’ activity in learning, so that students can memorize the material for longer time and can get better achievement. This research aimed to figure out the improvement of students’ achievement in Human Reproduction Concept at MTs Negeri 1 Matangglumpangdua. This research used two cycles with four components: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Test was conducted at the end of each cycle. Data was analyzed qualitatively by using descriptive statistic. The result shows that the average of cycle 1 increased from 70,00 to 76,09 at cycle 2. Students give positive responses 72,28%; 75, 82%; 73,39% and  71,16% to attention indicator, interest indicator, possitive belief indicator and satisfaction indicator (agreement scale) respectively. Finally, it is recommended that contextual learning is suitable to be used in Human Reproduction Concept. Nevertheless, contextual learning strategy shouldn’t be applied continously to different materials to avoid student’s boredom. The study was aimed to determine the increase in student achievement, scientific generic skills, and correlation between the skills and the learning outcomes  of students of class VII of MTsN Model Banda Aceh in 2013 in concept of classification of living things  throught implementing SSCS model. The study used experimental method with randomized control group pretest - posttest design . The study used two classes experimental-group and control-group classes chosen according to pretest scores. Data was collected pretest, posttest and scientific generic assessment The results showed that the value of tcount> ttable  (5,8 > 1,6). This indicated that there was a significant increase in students learning outcome. The value of t-count of communication aspect (1),  coorporation aspect (2,7), and problem solving skills (3,4). The correlation among  communication , cooperation  and problem solving skills was high ( r = 0,7).  Therefore it can be concluded that there were increases in student achievement and scientific generic skills and correlation between scientific generic skills and cognitive student learning outcomes except communication aspect. The rice flour was dried for 2 hours at different thickness of 1 and 1.5 cm. The temperatures were measured at several points of the dryer’s tray that is consisted of 4 layers, which was counted from the lowest layer as the first level. The samples were weighed in a small box which was put in the near border of the tray (box A) and in the centre of the tray (box B) for each layer. All measurements were done at interval of 15 minutes. Results showed that the temperature for drying the rice flour at depth 1.5 cm was 66 °C, which was higher than that of drying the rice flour at depth 1 cm (60.5 °C). In consequence, the relative humidity in the drying room at depth 1.5 cm was 35 %, which was lower than that of at depth 1 cm (61.8 %). However, the drying rate at depth 1.5 cm was lower than the drying rate at depth 1 cm. In addition, the distance of tray to the heater was also found to cause the low drying rate. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru PNS pada SMPN 2 Indrajaya Kabupaten Pidie yang berjumlah 41 orang dan seluruh siswa kelas VIII dan IX yang berjumlah 416 orang, sampel untuk siswa dalam penelitian ini diambil 10% yaitu 41 orang siswa dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner (angket) dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru (x) mempunyai hubungan yang positif dengan tindakan siswa (y) dengan koefisien korelasinya (r) = 0,3378 dan thitung = 2,241 > ttabel = 1,686 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05.  Kesimpulan adalah bahwa persepsi guru terdapat hubungan positif dengan tindakan siswa dalam pengelolaan lingkungan hidup di SMPN 2 Indrajaya Kabupaten Pidie. Pembelajaran kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbasis praktikum, sedangkan kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tanpa praktikum. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan konsep terhadap siswa yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran TGT berbasis praktikum dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tanpa praktikum, dengan perbedaan keduanya pada taraf P < 0,05, t hitung = 7,570 > t tabel = 2,000  untuk penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai efektivitas infusa daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr) terhadap nilai trigliserida serum darah kambing kacang jantan. Hewan yang digunakan adalah 9 ekor kambing kacang jantan lokal berumur 1,5 tahun dengan berat badan rata-rata 18,77±2,43 kg. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola searah dengan tiga kelompok perlakuan. Masing-masing  perlakuan terdiri dari tiga ekor kambing yaitu kelompok I, KII, dan KIII masing-masing sebagai kontrol, diberi infusa daun katuk dosis 25 ml dan 50 ml. Hasil  analisis varian (ANAVA) menunjukkan bahwa pemberian infusa daun katuk berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01) menurunkan kadar trigliserida serum darah kambing kacang jantan. Rataan dan standar deviasi kadar trigiserida serum darah (ml/dl) pada KI, KII, dan KIII berturut-turut adalah 247.67±22.19; 134.67±34,64; dan 46.67±3,51. HP assayed cause Bursa of Fabricius were decreased of their activity. Based on research data obtained, this research concluded that corticosteroids and C. albicans infection resulted decreasing of lymphoid activity of chicken. Corticosteroids and infection C. albicans  together were giving lower respon of lymphoid activity compore to each treatment of corticosteroid and C. albicans.
