Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif eksploratif dan menggunakan teknikpengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Populasi sejumlah 70 lansia dengan jumlah responden 54 orang,alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner dengan teknik wawancara. Metode analisis datamenggunakan analisa univariat. Waktu pengumpulan data 03-08 Juli 2013. Hasil penelitian didapatkarakteristik spiritual pada lanjut usia berada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 33 orang (61%), hubungandengan Tuhan berada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 30 orang (56%), hubungan dengan diri sendiriberada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 38 orang (70%), hubungan dengan orang lain berada pada kategorikurang yaitu sebanyak 32 orang (59%), dan hubungan dengan alam berada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak34 orang (63%). Varibel dependen penelitian ini adalah perkembangan kognitif anak usiasekolah yang meliputi tiga dimensi yaitu kemampuan klasifikasi, kemampuan konservasi dan kemampuanpenghilangan sifat egosentrisme. Variabel independen adalah status nutrisi anak usia sekolah. Desainpenelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study.Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh anak usia sekolah (10-12 tahun) yang tinggal di desa Lamceu kecamatanKuta Baro Aceh Besar. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling yang berjumlah 33 anak usiasekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pengukuran dan wawancara terpimpin yang terdiri dari 8pernyataan berbentuk skala Guttman. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah Chi Square( )2 dan diolah dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagian besar status gizianak usia sekolah berada pada kategori baik yaitu 23 orang (69,7%) dan kemampuan kognitif anak sebagianbesar berada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 23 orang (69,7%). Berdasarkan hasil analisa bivariatdidapatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara status nutrisi dengan kemampuan klasifikasi, tidak adahubungan antara status nutrisi dengan kemampuan konservasi, tidak ada hubungan antara status nutrisidengan kemampuan penghilangan sifat egosentrisme. Secara umum hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adahubungan antara status nutrisi dengan perkembangan kognitif anak usia sekolah di Desa Lamceu KecamatanKuta Baro Aceh Besar. The fenomena cannot be solved until now. We proposed new technigue, Geographic Information System (GIS)  for solving the problem mainly in agriculture area. The aim of this research for estimating habitat carrying capacity of Sumatran elephant habitat (Elephas maximus sumatranus Temminck) using Geographic Information System. Habitat and animal parameter estimated consist of biotic and abiotic factors. The factors analized suitability analysis using software Autocad Map 2000 and Arcview 3.1. this research result showed habitat carrying capacity in secondary forest (wet season :0,89±0,11 s.d 0,96±0,12 elephant/km²; dry:0,55±0,07 s.d 0,59 ± 0,08 elephant/km²) higher than primary forest (wet season: 0,20±0,02 to 0,26±0,05 elephant/km²  dry: 0,09±0,01 s.d 0,11±0,02 ind/km²). Based on suitability analysis estimated elephant carrying capacity in Tessonilo Forest in wet season (689,45±51,67 to 750,05± 109,14 elephants) higher than dry season (397,85 ±48,45 to 434,88±61,51 elephants). Elephant numbers fluctuated seasonally can be used for planting time strategy in agrculture system. The estimation of habitat carrying capacity did not consider habitat use seasonally. The objectives of this research were:  to determine of species composition, importance value of species, diversity index and evenness index, similarity index, distribution pattern of species, and species association. This research used the quadrat method. The determination of the species distribution was calculated using Poisson distribution formula and the determination of association was calculated using contingency table. The results of this research indicated that,  there were 61 species of  plant belong to20 familiy. The importance value was between 0,97-55,65%, and species with high importance value is Brachiaria reptans, Thespesia lanpas, Dichantium coricosum, and Oplismenus burmanii. The diversity index was between 2,0851-3,4033, and evenness index was between 1,7199-1,9984. The distribution pattern of species indicated that 38  species were  clumped, 10 species reguler, and 13 species were at random.  The multi-plants tend to have a clumped distribution pattern, and single plant tend to have a reguler or random distribution pattern. The research method used Randomized Completely Block Design Sub Sampling with 6 treament and 3 replication, they are: antiseptic soap A, B, C, D, phenol 2% and aquadest. The group consist of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria. The inhibit experiment was done by using Kirby-Bauer methode. The parameter analyzed by using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) continue with the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that there were  significant differences of inhibit zone that formed from both bacterias . The result of the antiseptic soap suspend inhibit zone, S. aureus bacteria has larger diameter than E. coli. Soap A, B, C and D with 50% concentrate toward both bacteria, each has average diameter 25, 16 mm, 15,6 mm, 11,5 mm and 9,83 mm while phenol  has 15,0 mm. This result showed that soap A, B, and C has the equal ability to phenol 2%. Base on Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT), it is found out that the real differences of the inhibit zone between the two bacteria as well the real differences of treatment forward those bacteria (P<0,05). This research aim at to know influence of fuel type to quality of milkfish use appliance smoked of cabinet type. Time needed to degrade water concentration around 15% at coconut shell of coconut fuel is 4 hours, representing lower concentrate rate of water of smoked milkfish. Protein rate in milkfish smoked use  fuel coconut shell is 32,75%, chaff of rice  27,18%, coconut coir 37,70%, and wood 27,09%. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dan deskriptif untuk 2 kelas experimen dan satu kelas kontrol  dengan desain One-variable Multiple-condition . Data penelitian diperoleh dengan pemberian posttes dan angket MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) pada akhir pembelajaran. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t dan deskriptif. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung > dari t-tabel 1,645. Kesadaran metakognisi menunjukkan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel. Kesadaran metakognisi kelas eksperimen 1 adalah 0,74, kelas eksperimen 2 adalah 0,41 dan kelas kontrol 0,15. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan penerapan model SQ3R dan Learning Strategy dan adanya hubungan antara kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar kognitif. Percobaan  ini menggunakan 45 ekor doc ayam broiler , perlakuan baru diberikan pada umur 25 hari. Pengujian dilakukan pada 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok P0: tanpa pemberian ekstrak air daun bandotan (kontrol); Kelompok P1 dan P2 diberi ekstrak air daun bandotan masing-masing pada dosis 1,5 ml dan 3 ml dengan dicekokkan melalui oral selama 6 hari. Pada hari ke-7 dilakukan pengambilan data. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui rata- rata persentase karkas71,8% (K) ; 72,3% (P1) ; 72,1%(P2). Analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa persentase karkas tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) dipengaruhi oleh pemberian ekstrak daun bandotan. Sedangkan rata-rata persentase lemak abdomen 1,6% (kontrol); 1,5% (P1); 1,4% (P2) hasil analisis juga tidak menunjukkan perbedaan nyata dikarenakan pemberian ekstrak daun bandotan dengan nilai P>0,05. Rata-rata angka Total Plate Count (TPC) masing-masing perlakuan adalah 8,3 x 105 CFU/ml (K) ; 7,6 X 105 CFU/ml (P1) ; 6,4 x 105 CFU/ml (P2). Walau hasil analisis sidik ragam untuk TPC tidak menunjukkan perbedaan nyata dengan nilai P > 0,05. tetapi dari angka rata-rata memiliki kecendrungan menurun. Hal ini mengindikasikan daun bandotan mempunyai potensi untuk dijadikan salah satu bahan alami untuk menggantikan antibiotika yang berbahan baku kimia.
