This research was aimed at studying the effects of organic Guano and inorganic NPK fertilizer on oil palm seedling growth on sub soil growing media. The experiment was conducted in a pot, arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD), factorial 4x3  with 3 replicates. There were two factors examined, 1) guano dose  consisting of four levels, namely: 0 kg, 0.5 kg, 1.0 kg and 1.5 kg/polybags and 2) inorganic fertilizers NPK consisting of three levels, namely: 0, 15, and 30 g/polybags. The results showed that subsoil can be used for growing media with applications of fertilizer Guano and inorganic NPK fertilizer. Guano and NPK fertilizer affected several soil chemical properties, i.e. increase in soil pH, available total C and N and P, and cation exchange capacity (CEC) and affected growth of oil palm seedling at age 16 weeks after planting. Provision of organic matter at planting date and a week after planting date gave  better grain weight per hill and production per hectare than a week before planting date. The aim of this research was to study the viability of seeds of some species on some environmental pollution levels caused by lubricant waste. Units of this research were arranged by Factorial Randomized Completely Block Design with 3 replicates. Four levels of lubricant waste were 0, 1, 2 and 3 ppm, and 3 levels of seed species were spinach, mungbean, and soybean. The results showed that seed germination rate was very significantly affected by lubricant waste. The viability of spinach, mungbean, and soybean seeds pointed by seed germination rate could be an indicator of environmental pollution level caused by lubricant waste by equation; Y = 39.19 – 2,15x with r = -0.87. Potential germination, germination rate, seedling vigor, and seedling dry mass very significantly affected by seed species, but not on germination capacity. The method included sample extraction, fractionation, and toxicity examination of leaf extract L. camara and its active fractions against P. xylostella larvae.  The extracts were applied by residue method.  Fractionation of active compounds from extract n-hexane was conducted by a vacuum liquid chromatography by using a stationary phase of silicate gel GF254­ and mobile phase of n-hexane, etil acetate, and methanol which produced five  fractions, that is fractions A, B, C, D, and E.  Leaf extract of  L. camara and its fractions possessed an insecticidal activity  causing mortality to P. xylostella larvae. The youngest stage of C. gigantea R. Br was more effective to be controlled, and had a lower dry weight shoot and root than the oldest one. The paraquat herbicides applied with dosages of 0,3 kg a.i. ha-1 on 30 days after planting increased the percentage of C. gigantea R. Br, and  reduced shoot and root dry weight of C. gigantea R. Br. Resulted damage can be up to 58-100% if control is not immediately done, especially in the dry season. The objective of this research was to obtain a effective concentration of great morinda extracts for controlling P. xylostella on mustard green. This research was conducted in Experimental Farm and Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases Department at the Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah Darussalam Banda Aceh.  The results showed that application of great morinda was effective to control P. xylostella. Mortality of 100% larva was recorded at 3 days after application of  great morinda extract in the concentration of 150ml L-1 solution and this was equivalent to 1 ml L-1  of methrin delta solution, and that the percentage of pupa and imago was 0%. The intensity of damage to plant leaf of mustard greens was only 15.47% in the application of 150 ml L-1 of great morinda.
