                <text>Abstract: The empowerment of school committee is one of important factorsto succeed education programs including short-term programs, mid-term programs, and long-term program. This research aimedto find out a description of how the empowerment of school committee implemented, school committee empowerment strategies, and obstacles faced by principal in empowering school committee. The approach used was qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation study. The research subjects were principal, vice-principal, teachers and school committee. The result showed that:(1) The development program of school committee includedregular meetings, School Budget Planning, semester report, routine activity, feast, market day, birthday school celebration, educational visit, competition, and delivering progress and setback the schools achieved. However, the result was not effective enough. (2) The empowerment strategy of school committee was implemented through regular meetings, parent’s meeting, routine activities, feast, market day, school birthday celebration, educational visit, school information, and culture transparency in school management. (3) The obstacles faced in empowering school committeewere the committee itself did not create the program. The low of economic factor, unconcerned education, and lack of time were also the obstacles faced in empowering the school committee so that the implementation of school committee empowerment was less effective.Keywords: Empowerment, school committeeAbstrak: Pemberdayaan Komite Sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor penting terwujudnya keberhasilan program pendidikan yang meliputi proram jangka pendek, menengah dan jangka panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang bagaimana program pemberdayaan komite sekolah, strategi pemberdayaan komite sekolah dan hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam pemberdayaan komite sekolah. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi,wawancara dan studi dokumentas. Sabjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan komite sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Program pemberdayaan komite sekolah meliputi rapat rutin yang dilaksanakan sekolah, ikut mensahkan RKAS, pengambilan rapor setiap semester oleh orang tua, kegiatan rutin, seperti tasyakkur, market day, perayaan milad SDIT Nurul Fikri Aceh, kunjungan edukatif dan acara lomba menjelang penerimaan murid baru, menyampaikan kemajuan dan kemunduran yang dicapai sekolah namun dalam pelaksanaannya belum menunjukan hasil yang maksimal.(2) Strategi pemberdayaan komite sekolah melalui rapat rutin yang dilaksanakan sekolah, mewajibkan pengambilan rapor setiap semester oleh orang tua, kegiatan rutin seperti tasyakkur, market day, perayaan milad SDIT Nurul Fikri Aceh, kunjungan edukatif dan acara lomba menjelang penerimaan murid baru, menyampaikan prestasi yang dan kemunduran yang dicapai sekolah, menyediakan infotmasi tentang sekolah kepada masyarakat, menumbuhkan budaya trasparansi dalam pengelolaan sekolah. (3) Hambatan dalam pemberdayaan komite sekolah, tidak adanya program yang dibuat oleh komite sendiri, faktor ekonomi masyarakat sekitar sekolah rata-rata ekonominya menengah kebawah, faktor anggota komite yang kurang peduli dengan pendidikan, kurangnya waktu yang dimiliki komite sekolah, sehingga program pemberdayaan komite sekolah kurang efektif.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Komite Sekolah</text>

                <text>Abstract: The aim of this study to improve the preparedness of students of SMAN 5 Banda Aceh to the earthquake. The methods of research and development (research and development ) was used the model of Dick and Carey. The samples in this study is purposive sampling that class X - 3 as many as 25 students. Data was collected using a questionnaire that aims to look at cognitive, affective and psychomotor students , assessment questionnaire module Earthquake Preparedness (KGB), observation sheets learning process and outcome evaluation of student learning. Data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. This study resulted in the KGB module. The results of the assessment in the form of modules scored 80. 7.                 <text>Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship of policies, as well as facilities and infrastructure to the level of community preparedness Disaster Preparedness School (SSB). This study used a descriptive approach-quantitative method. This study was conducted in one school pilot disaster preparedness, which is SDN 2 in Banda Aceh. Its population is a school community that is actively involved in all activities related to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in school. Data were collected by questionnaire using parameters preparedness. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and correlation tests. The results showed that the level of community preparedness categorized SSB; very prepared for disasters. This is supported by the significant relationship between the parameters of preparedness with DRR programs that have been implemented at the school.                 <text>Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of guidance groups and self efficacy to students’ knowledge and action of SMPN 8 BandaAceh in facing the earthquake. This study used a quasi-experimental research method approach. Student preparedness data was collected using a questionnaire. The study population was all students of Junior High School 8 (SMP N 8) Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Samples were selected using purposive of class VII-5, as many as 10 students were given guidance group. Data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results showed that the students knowledge and action of SMPN 8 BandaAceh in facing the earthquake can be increased through group counseling and self-efficacy by 1, 041 % .                 <text>Abstract: Integrating education on disaster risk into the national curriculum and providing save school facilities are two priorities which contributes to the development of a country to achieve the Millennium Development Goal. In developing a safety and preparedness culture especially for children and young generation, Disaster Education is required at the level of primary and secondary schools. The objective of this research was to find out and analyze the influence of integrating material related to disaster in to the curriculum on the student’s preparedness for an earthquake and tsunami at elementary and secondary schools in Banda Aceh. The method used in this research was a quantitative research utilized to collect the data related to the influence of integrating material related to disaster and preparedness for the earthquake and tsunami disasters into the curriculum on knowledge, attitude, participation and competence at schools. The data was collected by using a set of questionnaire and in-depth interview to three school principals from SDN 2, SMPN 1 and SMAN 1. The research results showed that the level of preparedness shown by the students of SDN 2, SMPN 1 and SMAN 1. It was evident from the number of respondents with good levels of preparedness at SND 2 (75.4%) and poor level (24.6%), good levels of preparedness at SMP 1 (75.8%) and poor level (24.2%), good levels of preparedness at SMAN 1 (80.0%) and poor level (20.0%). Based on the statistical analysis, it was found the there was a significant influence of knowledge, attitude, participation and competence on the preparedness shown by students at SND 2 (p-value = 0.0001), SMPN 1 (p-value = 0.0001), and SMAN 1 (p-value = 0.0003) in Banda Aceh, meaning that the difference was found in all schools. It is recommended that the government of Banda Aceh, especially the Department of Education, integrate materials related to earthquake and tsunami disasters into the teaching and learning process. It is also suggested that the students and the teachers keep gaining knowledge on earthquake and tsunami disasters and improving students’ preparedness for a disaster. Keywords: integrating material related to disaster, preparedness, earthquake, tsunami</text>

                <text>Abstract: A major contributor to many victims of the earthquake is the lack of public knowledge about disasters and their readiness in anticipation of disaster. School is one of the sciences of transformation media are most effective in absorbing and applying knowledge of disaster preparedness by using appropriate methods and correct. Therefore, the purpose of this study is: 1 ) get a model of disaster preparedness training to improve the knowledge , attitudes , and action of community SMAN 5 Banda Aceh, and 2 ) obtain data on the effectiveness of the training model of the earthquake disaster alert to the increased preparedness of community SMAN 5 Banda Aceh. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles is descriptive qualitative. Subjects in the first cycle were 30 and totaled 26 in the second cycle, consisting of principals, teachers, students, security guards, cafeteria guard, and guard the school. Data collected by means of observation before and during training to support training in the form of field notes, questionnaire responses to determine aspects of knowledge, attitudes and actions as well as community response to training, and documentation in the form of photos and videos as training supporting data. Results of first cycle studies, the percentage of the average knowledge of the school community was 75%, while in the second cycle increased by 21. 5%. In addition, increased 20. 2% in the second cycle occurs on average percentage for the school community preparedness measures be 97. 1%, and 85. 2% increase from the first cycle to 97. 1% in the second cycle of the average percentage of the attitude of the school community. The increase also occurred in response to the community emergency response training earthquake as a whole is equal to 4. 8% from 79. 1% to 83. 9% in the second cycle. The results of this study concluded that the disaster preparedness training with direct practice model mimics the action of such an earthquake could improve preparedness of community SMAN 5 Banda Aceh with increased knowledge about the earthquake, more appropriate attitudes to earthquakes as well as the more appropriate action in the face of an earthquake.  Keywords: training, knowledge, attitudes, actionspreparedness, earthquake</text>

                <text>Abstract: Disaster is a serious disruption of the functioning of a society, causing widespreads loss of human life, in terms of economic, social function and environmental. This study aims to determine the level of community preparedness for disaster situations of Seulawah Agam Volcano, Saree sub-district area of Aceh Besar regency. This disaster education research uses a quantitative approach with crossectional design. The research was held on 15th until 31st December 2013. Population in this study is all the people who never get a disaster simulation of Seulawah Agam Volcano, Saree Sub-district area of Aceh Besar Regency which amount 226 of people consisted of men and women. The obtaining sampel was conducted by 69 of people. The sampling technique in this research were calculated using random sampling . The results showed the Preparedness of Ready by 29 people ( 42. 0 % ), Knowledge To know that as many as 27 ( 39. 2 % ), Information systems that are Less known, as many as 31 ( 44. 9 % ) compared with only 20 information known ( 28. 9 % ), the vulnerability was poor, as many as 30 ( 43. 5 % ), the Attitude was Enough as many as 32 ( 46. 4 % ), frekusensi of the Simulations in Seulawah Agam Volcano disaster situations who Do not understand as many as 29 ( 42. 0 % ).                 <text>Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbandingan ketebalan dinding terhadap diameter tulang humerus pada ayam kampung (Gallus domesticus) dan burung merpati (Columba domestica). Dua puluh tulang humerus yang berasal dari 10 ekor burung merpati jantan dipisahkan dari jaringan di sekitarnya, kemudian tulang humerus tersebut direndam dalam formalin 5% dan dipotong secara melintang dengan menggunakan gergaji tulang. Ketebalan dinding terhadap tulang humerus diukur dengan menggunakan jangka sorong. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan ketebalan dinding dan diameter tulang humerus pada ayam kampung adalah 1 : 4,94 sedangkan pada burung merpati adalah 1 : 5,80. Tulang humerus ayam kampung lebih tebal dari pada burung merpati jika dibandingkan diameter tulang dari masing-masing unggas tersebut.Kata kunci: Gallus domesticus, Columba domestica, tulang humerus, rasio, diameter, ketebalan</text>

                <text>This is a  preliminary study about the level of sexual harassment in Aceh, this study aims at describing the profile of victims of sexual abuse, sexual harassment diversity of forms of behavior that is natural, the environment in which the abuse and the causes that trigger sexual abuse so that they can be the basis of subsequent policy research in order to formulate various sexual harassment prevention strategies. A a survey is conducted by using quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches with sample selection refers to the consideration of the sampling area. Eight regencies/cities, namely Subulussalam/Singkil  district and South Aceh's western coastal areas, Aceh Besar, Pidie, North Aceh and East Aceh's eastern coastal region and the Southeast Aceh Regency and Central Aceh for the central region. Data obtained through documentation and interviews were analyzed using the descriptive statistics (percentage tabulations, graphs and charts) as well as a comparative analysis of narrative logic. The results showed that, majority of sexual abuse victims are children and young women aged under 18 years old, still a student, the socioeconomic status of the family was in the middle to lower. While the perpetrators including men who come from different backgrounds in terms of ages, education, occupation, socioeconomic status, and place of residence. Forms of sexual abuse cases were rape and sexual abuse, in addition to the act of sodomy in a minority of cases. The cause of sexual harassment is a lack of parental supervision of children, the declining morality of the offender and economic factors. Psychological impact experienced by victims of sexual harassment is that they tend to be aloof, socially isolated people, expelled from school, self-blame, and prolonged trauma. The study recommends that forms of prevention and mitigation of sexual abuse should be implemented.</text>

                <text>Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri I Ingin Jaya pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2008/2009 belum menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan.Nilai ketuntasan belajar minimal yang harus dicapai siswa adalah 70, namun demikian hanya 38 % siswa yang mampu mencapai nilai KKM 70. Dengan kata lain 62 % siswa , nilai akhir belajar berada di bawah KKM. Oleh karena itu dalam menerapkan kurikulum, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam harus mampu menggunakan pendekatan, metode yang variatif dan sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran yang diberikan. Adapun salah satu model pembelajaran yang diduga mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI adalah pendekatan kooperatif metode STAD (Students Team Achievement Divisions). Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam mempelajari materi perilaku tercela melalui penerapan pendekatan kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri I Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar.Jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 x pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri I Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar yang berjumlah 19 orang yang terdiri dari 7 orang laki-laki dan 12. Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi, dan diskusi.Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran selama siklus I mencapai nilai rata-rata 66,2, Aktivitas guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada siklus I berada pada kategori cukup dengan skor 55 atau 78,5 %. Sedangkan skor idealnya adalah 70. Hal ini terjadi karena lebih banyak berdiri di depan kelas dan kurang memberikan pengarahan kepada siswa bagaimana melakukan pembelajaran secara kooperatif. Hasil belajar terhadap materi pembelajaran dari skor ideal 100, skor perolehan rata-rata hanya mencapai 63 atau 63,1%. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dalam PBM selama siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata  74,3, Hasil observasi aktivitas guru dalam PBM pada siklus kedua tergolong sedang. Hal ini berarti mengalami perbaikan dari siklus pertama. Dari skor ideal 70 nilai yang diperoleh adalah 68 atau 97,1%. Hasil belajar siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran pada siklus kedua juga tergolong sedang, yakni dari nilai skor ideal 100 nilai rata-rata skor perolehan adalah 71 atau 71%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan pendekatan kooperatif tipe STAD merupakan salah satu strategi elaborasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI materi perilaku tercela pada siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri I Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar</text>
